- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

- Academics are easier in our campus since we have only 1 mid term examinations rather than two. Also the tech culture of our college is of another level since tech clubs participate in many national and international competitions and became champions.
- Our campus is the most beautiful among all the IITs . The location of our campus is perfect since it lies in midst of the hill places which makes it more attractive . The whole campus is full of greenery and peace govind a soft touch like home to us.
- Sports culture is very enthusiastic. Our college participate in the national level competition and become champions too. We get a tough training from the coaches of our interested sports.
Dislikes
- The grading system is not good according to me. Since it is not open and fair it varies from subject to subject and professor to professor . Due to this we don't equal grades which is very bad.
- The teacher assistants are provided to us for our doubt clearings and helping us to build up the concept in topics but they don,t do this in right way. They give assignment and discuss them only .'t that things in the right way
- Many events get superimposed . As various students group do their own activities so they carry on their activities in which our involvement is also required but at last we have to drop some of them and prioritise events to attend .
Placement Experience:
By the end of 4th semester students get internship opportunities. In the third year students get placements offers from various companies. Big companies like Google , Microsoft ,ISRO,Paypal,etc. as far I know visit the campus for jobs. However I don't know about all companies since I am a fresher but last year 63 recruiters came to our came to our campus.
Highest package was 1.06 crore last year and average package is 17LPA as provided by the datas .
Also 100% placement rates are there .
Till now I have no such plans after getting the degree but I hope a get a job of descent salary so that I can fulfill my desires.

- I liked the campus, it's such beautiful and amazing
- I liked the sports facilities that we are getting here

Dislikes
- The environment during exams is very depressing kind
- There is no such more thing that I disliked about my college
- There is no such more thing that I disliked
Placement Experience:
In 7th semester the placement season starts..
All the big mnc like Microsoft, Accenture japan come in the college, most of the students get placed, like the placement percentage is very high
Highest package is nearly 2cr and the average package is nearly 23 lakhs.
The profiles offered are mostly software developer engineers or some consultancy posts
My plans are to study abroad after getting the degree To do my research

- The opportunity to learn yourself and explore yourself.
- The clubs we have we learn a lot of things from them.
- Exams teach us how to prepare for any exams because they are really hard.
Dislikes
- I think politics are involved in almost all things.
- Mess food has very low quality and taste .
- Second year student shares their room which is not good for privacy.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is good and the facility memebers are so good . They have very good knowledge of their subjects and they know how to make good engineers which will build our nation.
And the exam set-up is good but hectic also.

- Electrical Branch is most hectic branch. You dont get time for other things
- Very strict rules. Some unnecessary rules by DISCO
- Student lives in themselves. Nobody cares what are you doing. everybody is in ratrace.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester students are eligible for college placemets TOP compnies in the world offered placement IN IIT ROORKEE highest pacakge is about 2 cr. and average is about 30lpa and about 70 percent students got placed .

- The campus greenery and cleanliness and the campus is well maintained in terms of beauty and aesthetics
- The sports facilities like gym and atheletics are always open for all
- Some indoor sports like pool snooker are also available for students
Dislikes
- The mess food quality is not that satisfying
- Exams are pretty taugh here and the grading system sucks
- The accomodation is not good some single rooms are given to two people which is not good
Placement Experience:
IIT's are generally known among engineering collages for there placements I mean they are pretty decent for my branch the averageis 14lpa which is above average for India and if you do good in academics and learn some skills placement is pretty much guaranteed

- The way in which people are recruited in the clubs
- There is more inclination towards non core side that overshadow core domain

More than 90% students are placed. Highest CTC is 2.15 cr and average if 20 lpa .all tech giants like Google Flipkart ,Amazon ,Microsoft's comes and hires students .there is also good scope in core electrical and mechanical domain ,chemical and production as well . commercial banks do come and hire .consultancy and product management is also quite popular in campus .some of the students opt for higher education as well .

- The faculty here is well qualified. They deliver great lectures on the course topics.
- The environment of IIT ROORKEE is lush green and is like a heaven to live in.
- The student club culture is a great way to Interact with a lot of talented individuals
Dislikes
- The food in mess can be upgraded to better. It is already good but there is slight space for improvement
- I haven't found anything else to dislike in this vollege
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements in 7th semester(i.e start of 4th year). A lot of companies have visited till date around 850 offers have been given in the first 15 days placement drive. Highest package was an international offer of about 2.1cr to a CSE student. Around 80-90% of students get placed. I will be working as a software developer aftery degree

- There is a good cultural in collage, fest are organised on regular basis , so collage life is good
- Seniors are very helpful , also we got treat from them and its called “ chapo” in roorkee slang
- Placements are decent , one could get a good start in his life at age of 21-22
Dislikes
- The students studying here are so toxic , they can’t see anyone getting something more than them
- Girls boys ratio is very bad in almost all engineering collages
- The clubs requirements are so worst , the worst thing about iit roorkee

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
