Likes
- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

- Campus culture and infrastructure - One of the best in whole nation
- Networking - there are about 7000+ students at any given time, therefore you meet alot of good people.

The information regarding placements is available on the college website with detailed reports.
But just for the answer, for the 2023 batch, the average package stood at 18.34 LPA and the highest went up to 28 LPA.

Placement Experience:
The students are eligible for placement from their final year however some students also get PPO from the internships they do. Hu dreds of companies visit in a single placement session and the package may vary from lakhs to crores (not for phd)

- Great campus life , nice atmosphere ,intellectual people

- Mess food is not very good as usual , clubs here need prior knowledge to enter them .
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placements after 6 semesters , there are many companies like Google , Adobe, Microsoft , Goldman Sachs , sprinkler etc. There are many offers made although I donot have a particular number for that , highest- 2.5 cr , lowest -16 lakhs , 90 percentage placement, have a great work at my job and enjoy my life after placement.

- Campus groups are very good and highly talented people work.
- Hostel facilities are very nice. Cantenes specially.
Dislikes
- Location of IIT is not good. It is in a small town.
- Students are not allowed to posses any car or bike inside campus.
- Some proffesors are very rude and mean and not friendly with students.
Placement Experience:
The placements are decent. Every year highest package goes above 1cr. Around 1000 companies visit every year. Students from the 5th semester become eligible for official internships. If they do well in them, they get PPO and don't have to sit for placements.

- Campus life: best place, you can roam in campus with blush greenery, peacefully.
- Opportunities provided by iit, like sports complex, participation in events
- Friends group; people came here from different places, and interaction with them very fun
Dislikes
- fees structure: very much fees, it should be less
- triple sharing problem: space issue is very irritating
- Exams here are very tough, and surprizes quizes
Placement Experience:
Placement season is around December in our college. The average package is quite good. obviously because of IIT. around 90% of people placed here and the rest go for more or less higher studies. Microsoft, google, amazon etc many companies came here. my dream company is Microsoft

- I liked the chill atmosphere, acads pressure is less compared to iitkanpur, iitb etc
- Fests and social activities are very joyful to participate
- Coding and tech culture is booming here and tech clubs are very good
Dislikes
- Less start up culture and e cell is also not good at all
- A bit old curriculum like no AI etc in electrical so it is 20 years backs with the modern world
Placement Experience:
In 4th year 1 sem u get placed.
Though many opt for higher studies and I also wanna do an MS in AI.
Around 93% get placed who sit in on-campus placements.
Sde and quant are dominant along with data science

- Fee structure is very rigorous but it's ok
- CG criteria should be laid off. It's simply not fair.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose Electrical Engineering at IIT Roorkee. Electrical courses are very difficult to study and exams are set very tough by professors. Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

- Hostel life with friends and the ambiance, the competition is nice encouraging you to study
- Sports faculties is very nice. With the best available being offered.
- Library the qualifications of faculty the help offeres by the faculty is amazing.
Dislikes
- Not many restaurant and food palces there are some outside the campus but not inside
- The groups recruit student who already have the knowledge of the subject but not the one who wants to learn.
- The high competition with the fellow could sometimes be tiring
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are held in the 7th semester. Google, Amazon, Razorpay and Manu companies visit and more the 1000 offers were made. The highest package is more than 1 crore. The avg around 20lakh. I would do a job for a year or two then go for higher education.

Placement Experience:
IITs are known for their placements and so has IITR one of the topmost placements in the country. Almost everyone sitting for the placements gets placed and even if not placed, the IIT tag helps a lot in getting off campus opportunities.
I will be sitting for internships soon.
The highest package usually goes around 1.5-2cr international and 80-90 lac domestic. Along with that companies coming here are top notch. All the big brands visit IITR

- We can pursuie or do whatever and whenever we want
- Curriculm is chill and professors are supportive

- To be in campus during summer we need to pay
- Nothing to dislike, I love IIT Roorkee.
Placement Experience:
Placement is best than any other college in India provided that you make better use of the opportunity provided to you, Big giants FANNG and most companies visit the campus. About 60-70 % of students who sit in placement are get placed.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
