- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

Placement Experience:
Placement is the best if you had done a little bit of hard work and moreover with less work also you can get better opportunities. If no campus placement is offered you can look for off-campus placement which has also a better option. We are eligible for campus placement in the last year or you can get the pre-placement offer. The highest package of 2023 is 1.6 cr per annum.

Placement Experience:
Students Are Allowed To Sit For Campus Placements At The Beginning Of The 7Th Semester. As Iit Roorkee, Is A Top-Notch College, There Is No Dearth Of Companies. Be It Any Role, There Are A Lot Of Companies Opening For The Students. The Placement Percentage Is Almost 100% Every Year.

- I came to know so many people of different nature and with so much talent.

- Mess food is not what i did wish for although it is healthy and all but taste is most student's first priority.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose chemical engineering first as my course but I was not happy with it as the job vacancies in that area were limited and not what I dreamed of. So, I changed my branch to electrical engineering through the branch change program held by my institute as it is a more technical branch and one is eligible to give interviews at companies like Google, Microsoft etc. Faculty: student ratio is quite fine every subject has at least one proff and they are very well in their teaching method if we leave some exceptions aside. There is one mte and one ete in each semester and quizzes are here and there. I would say that term exams are quite balanced.

- Hostels are very good , they called hostel as bhawan instead of hostel

- In rainy season there are some sides of college which drianed
- There is very much traffic inside campus due to outsiders
- Mess food is sometimes very bad , so we have to go to canteen
Course Curriculum Overview:
I was interested in chemical engineering, but I was not very familiar with the faculty-student ratio, facilities are very good there are two exams in one semester one is midterm and another is end term, and they are of moderate level.

- I liked the main building of the campus the most.
- I liked the greenery around the campus also.
- I liked the canteens of the campus and the shops as well.

- I disliked the mess food and the hygiene in the mess.
- I disliked the hostels that do not have required facilities.
- I disliked the washrooms which are rarely cleaned.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose because I was getting this course only because the faculty-to-student ratio is very low and the faculty is not that great the term exams come after 2 months and they are easy to pass and attendance also carries marks. All the faculty are Ph.D. holders.

- As previously it was civil engineering college so it's infrastructure is quite impressive
- Our department faculties are helping nature reason being they are young and can relate with us.
Dislikes
- Rajendra Bhawan mess is not as good as other hostels so first year btech students might face a problem with that.
- Girls and boys ratio is quite low it is around 1:4 to 1:5
Placement Experience:
Usually people say that if get IITs then after four year definitely you will get 4-5 lakhs per months like they want to say "Paisa hi Paisa hoga " , but actually it's not true although IITs definitely provide better jobs and education than a private institutions. But initially package is not so high.

- Campus is too much interactive. The main building of iit roorkee is so charming.
- Some faculty members they are too interactive with students

- Labs not all but some of them is look like "khandr"
- Hostel rooms is too small but its triple sharing
Course Curriculum Overview:
When am cleared the exam at that time I did have not much knowledge but now am Interested in machines and want to know and learning about circuits and machines. All the courses are interesting in this field. All the faculty members are really good and very interactive with students.

- Mess food not comparable with money...
Placement Experience:
From 2nd year students are eligible for internships and there are many opportunities for girls. Google, Microsoft, and many others. Almost all students are placed. My plans are to get a good job with high money.

- I really like the campus along with the life it comes with. Green and lush campus.
- I really like all the sports facilities and all the canteen food (its cheap and good).
- I really like the place too. You can go visit place Mussoorie, Shimla, Manali In vacations because its all in about 200-300 km radius.
Dislikes
- I really hate Curriculum, Mess food, Hostels.
- The campus is not too big. If you keep walking it just ends in an hour.
- I really dislike the teaching methods of professors.
Placement Experience:
4th year students apply for campus placements. The average package is upwards of 25 lacs. Companies such as JP Morgan, Flipkart, Google, etc. come here for placements. The highest packages go upwards of 1.5 crores. Almost 95% of students get placed every year.

- Course are just amazing .
- The Infrastructure is just amazing. The James thomson builing which is the main attraction of IIT Roorkee

- The hostels. Hostel in IIT Roorkee is just average (not so good not so baad).
- The mess and the food here is also just average
- Senior junior relation is just too formal.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose this course because it's a dual degree so I'll have my Mtech done in just 5 years.
And I wanted to explore this field. Also In future, I will like to do field work and this course is perfect for field work jobs. About the faculty here the thing is the faculty is so experienced and talented. IIT's faculty: student ratio is very good. And also the TA's: student ratio is quite nice as compared to the other colleges. The faculty qualification is very much satisfying for the students here. The faculty here also has so much experience, there are some professors who are teaching here for more than 20 years. Also that the professor here have experienced everything in their life as they had been in jobs, research etc. So they have explored all fields. The Alumni of our college are just mind-blowing. Our professors have patents in almost every field. About the exams, there are 2 exams in a semester one is mid-term and the second is End term. It's easy to pass exams but.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
- The videos are extremely short and sometimes fail to explain the entire concept
- Lab web console and Hue editor face technical issues on a regular basis.
Ultimately it can be said that it is a decent learning platform that provides training at subsidiary rates and is growing at an exponential rate.
