- Dr. vinay pant is my favorite one, and he is the best at teaching in my department.
- The placements are good in iit roorkee as it is the top 5 engineering colleges in india from 4 th semester ending you will get internship companies like amazon flipkart google microsoft and all other popular companies.
- The prettiest thing in the whole campus is the james thomsan building. it has magnificent lawn and beautiful green and tall trees.
Dislikes
- Admission process was a bit difficult a lot of documents to prepare so take took.the cut-off was too low cause it was the toughest exam.i didn't like the procedure of admission, have to prepare so much documents it was hectic.
- A very few things that are dislike about the college is the rooms of hostels and washrooms of my block, not very much clean and with proper functions
- Some professors are good but some are very rude and rigorous.

From 7th Semester student get eligible for campus placements , companies start coming from 7th semester and all the test are conducted first , interview are held afterward the test in month of December . We have Placement in 2 phases .

- The campus, yes the campus vibe and facilities provided are unmatchable.
- The alumni connection, being the oldest engineering cllg in India, the alumni network is very great, you can find people from your college in almost every major companies and startups like Razorpay.
- The opportunities and work environment, you can literally find a club for you interest domain, you get to work with people pursuing the same domain as yours.
Dislikes
- The faculties, yes the faculties are very well qualified but not wvery good learner is a great teacher, that applies here.
- Campus politics, just like any other colleges, IITR also have some plitics regarding the general secreatries position, which creates tension among students those have to live whole 4 years together.
- The hostels, the hostels are very old, comparing to new IITs they are very low class, small rooms, double sharing. Although that doesnt matter much once you get the right friends.
Placement Experience:
The placements stats of IIT Roorkee is pretty great, for ece the average package is 22 LPA. You get to sit for placements in your 4th year, with many big companies coming to get you like Google, Microsoft, KLA, DE Shaw etc. Offering almost every profile. More than 80% of students gets placed on campus while other get the job off campus. Highest package goes upto 2 to 3 Cr per annum which is generally international package, while domestic package goes upto 1.5 to 2 Cr.

- Main building of iit roorkee is the best.
- Student activity centre and MAC are just too good
- Teachers and faculties and our seniors and classes.
Dislikes
- Food of mess is bit bad but most of the time its good
- Some students are also bad way bad but ultimately they are good.
- Some faculty are strict but at the end they are okish.

- The infrastructure of the classrooms were superb
- The sports facilities were too good to even dream of

- The coding culture among students making it too stressful for other intrested people
- The drug culture and the alchoholism in the hostels
- The professors were too cocky sometimes to even pass the examinations
Placement Experience:
The 7th semester students of 4 year course are eligible for the placements. The highest package offered is around 2 crore while the average package is around 10 lpa. My plan after the degree is to get a job that's it

- campus is quite interesting and beautiful especially the main building i.e. James Thomson Building, Mathematics department,ECE tower
Placement Experience:
As of Btech 4th year students are eligible for campus placements.I dont have much idea about campus placements since I am a 2nd yr student. But various companies visits our campus like Google , Microsoft, jpmc and quant companies like Quant box,graviton etc.

- Mostly everything is very good in the campus .
- The campus life is great and moreover we have the most beautiful campus .
- Placements are good and we get so many opportunities as a undergrad.
Dislikes
- Hostel foods some days in a week and the quantity of sweets we get in mess.
- Boys: Girls ratio is so low , there are less girls in campus comparatively .
- Exams are sometimes so tough that we struggle alot for it.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are very good . Highest packages are in Crores which are international offers . 100% placements are provided in our campus . My plan is to get a good job after getting the degree and then continue with the job accordingly.

- Library is very good, almost all facilities inside campus

- Old hostels, mess food can be better. .
- Sometimes unnecessary courses are added in my branch
- Like civil branch have electrical course.

Placements are very good in top circuital branches, and not very good in lower branches. Average package is around 10 lakhs. On cmapus placements is provided. Off campus, you can apply if you don't get selected in on campus

Campus placement is offered by the college for different branches. There are two types, the first one in which the students apply for their core branch and the other one in which the students who are not interested in their branch placement can apply in their field of interest

- Night life at IIT Roorkee is beautiful and calm.
- I liked that the campus is very green and clean, it is regularly maintained.
- Peer group here is excellent. Everybody is talented.
Dislikes
- I don't like the fact that the environment is competitive.
- We have relative grading, so we have to perform better than others.
- I dont like that the few professors are careless about their course.

The courses provided by Cloudxlab, E&ICT Academy and IIT Roorkee are well structured. All the credits go to the excellent CloudxLab team which provides constant assistance on issues related to labs and coursework via the discussion forum.
The course offers hands-on knowledge in Data/ Data Engineering technologies. It is suitable for anyone with basic programming knowledge, SQL database work, and an inclination toward Data Science. There is many differences in the price as well as the curriculum of the courses offered by E&ICT Academy, IIT Roorkee, and CloudxLab.
Merits
- Well-structured coursework taught through short videos and quizzes for evaluation
- The discussion forum provides assistance in lab work and projects
- The solution of the project is available for assistance
- The videos can be saved for future reference
- Courses are offered at a discount except the lab access
Demerits
- The project work has to be completed in the limited timeframe of 3 months
- Some Spark modules are difficult to comprehend especially by beginners
