UPES Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I want to pursue MBA and therefore BBA became vital. The number of faculties is 20+ as along with core faculties there are also assistance faculties at the campus. Rote learning is secondary here because BBA being a professional course practical is given more importance. The classes were held online for a while but ever since I have started going to college regularly, many workshops are also organized by the faculties.

I choose that course to gain knowledge about oil & gas management, the faculty ratio was 10:50, and faculties were highly graduated from different universities in their respective domains. There were half-yearly exams, mid sem & end sem. It was moderate to pass the exams.

From 3 years students are eligible for the placement. UPES has many courses like B-Tech, Law, Design etc. Many companies visit upes and In my course, there is 100 per cent placement with the highest package of around 40 lakh and average package of around 9 lakh.

Students become eligible for placement after 4 semesters and a world-class company comes to this college eg Microsoft amazon. About 94% of the students get placement in this college and the highest placement here was 42 lakhs and the average placement rate is 6 lakhs. My plan is that I would get a placement in a good company.

Students become eligible from the 5th year for the placements, there are many companies which visit this university every year and take a lot of students who wanted to take placement from the college, the highest package is above 25 lakhs, percentage of students who get placement is above 70 % for sure, I will practice law after getting my degree.

From the second year students become eligible for campus placements in our college. So basically I have pursued journalism and mass communication as my course there is a greater chance of getting placements in big companies like NDTV news, Aajtak. TimesofIndia. Maximum 75 to 90 percent students can get a better placement.

Currently, I don't know about the placements of my course as there is not a single batch of our course which have been passing out as it is a new course. Even my batch is the second batch of this course and I'm in the first year. But I personally think that the placements will either be average or above average because of two reasons. First, the faculty which teaches us is industry renowned and can offer us good placement offers because of the contacts which they have. Secondly, it's a new course which they have started so they'll want the students to get high packages so that everyone will get attracted to do this course from our college.

My second semester is yet to start but what i hear from my seniors is that the placements are quite good , one can even check the website. All the top companies visit and pick students. The internship opportunities are also excellent. After the degree, i plan to get placed in a nice company.

The campus placement is too good in UPES Dehradun The companies visited every year to hire students and get them placed In UPES as I pursue MCA in my course the students get placed from 3 semesters that is from 2nd year And out of 100 students, about 92-95 students got placed

If we are specifically talking about placements then you will be eligible as soon as you come in 4th year. There were so many good companies this time vmware, infosys, adobe, postman and many more. The highest package was 48 LPA and the average package is 10 LPA. Above 95% of the students get placed on campus. I am going for an on-campus placement and off campus placement as well.
