Jadavpur University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The semester holds every after 3 months and it is very easy to qualify. Though some faculty members are really good and helpful some of them are not. In 1st yr.. because they are hired from arts and sciences faculty.

The students are eligible for placements after the 6th semester. All big tech companies like Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, DE Shaw, etc visit the campus for placements. The total number of offers cross well above 800 and the highest domestic package goes up to 65 LPA, and the average package of all branches combined goes up to 12-13 LPA. The average package of CSE/It goes well above 20 LPA. Various profiles such as SDE, Tech Analyst, Talent Specialist, etc are offered to the students. The total percentage of students getting placed is well above 85%, with the top branches having 100% placement. Several students also end up going for higher studies in top Indian and foreign universities. I will be aiming for placements after getting the degree, and maybe higher studies after getting a work experience for a couple of years.

From the 6th semester, we can have our placements. All the placement info can be found on our college Facebook placement page. The percentage of a student getting placed is around 95% in 2021. And the highest package was 58LPA. This year, however, we have got more than 10 international offers.

Students gets internship at the start of 3rd year This internship giving companies also offers PPO to students. Every 4th year students are eligible to get campus placement. Big companies visits our university every year for placement offers , some of them are Google, Microsoft, Amazon , Apple , Flipkart, LinkedIn, sometimes Facebook also. They gives a great offer of average from 28lpa to 66lpa. A good numbers of students gets placed in this companies and other gets placed in other companies which visits our campus with 100% placement rate and a great average of 18.6lpa. Highest on-campus placement is around 68lpa. I would prefer to do job in any of this big companies and would not like to prefer higher studies.

Placement statistics of Jadavpur University is very good. Mostly 90% to 95%of students get placed every year and the average package of IT branch varies from 18 lakhs per annum to 20 lakhs per annum. And many top companies like amazon, microsoft, apple, disney hotstar visits for campus placements.

from 5th semester onwards students are allowed for internship interviews and from 7th semester for placement season. in the placement drive more than 100+ companies visited and made 700+offers were given . companies like google samsung apple hotstar wells fargo optum tata steel jio cesc texas instrument and many more more than 75% student get placed every year in core IT sector and consultancy firm. after completing btech i would study for gate or work in corporate till deciding

Students are eligible for campus placement at end of 3rd year. Jadavpur University is known for its placement in West Bengal. Above 90% of students got placed in the 2021 batch having an average package of 10 LPA and the highest package of 65 LPA in Atlassian(from Electrical Engineering). Also, there is 100% placement in computer science with an average package of 20lpa and the highest of 56 LPA.

The placements in the college have a well-defined ratio. It's about 85 percent of placements. The companies which visit our campus are Infosys, Amazon, Facebook, Google, etc. Its average highest package is 40 lakhs and the lowest average package is 10 lakhs. My plan after getting my degree is to keep a company.

I choose this course because I am interested in the core branch. The professor is very helpful, has well-qualified knowledge and students friendly. The quality of the teaching is excellent. The course curriculum is designed in very well structured.

In our department electrical engineering,the average placement is 9L per annum and placement percentage is around 90 percent.The college provides internships in famous companies like microsoft ,Adobe,Infosys,etc
