Jadavpur University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I love civil engineering and I have a dream to study at this college. the student and teacher ratio is about 90%. The teachers are very much qualified they are all Ph.D. level qualified. the exams are happening in the semester about 6 months ago. all exams are very easy to pass. If someone read books carefully they can pass easily.

The placements in CSE are very good with almost 100 percent placement and most companies like Google, Amazon, etc hire from JU. Students sit for on-campus placements in their third or fourth year generally and the average package lies between 20 to 25 LPA for CSE.

From the 6th semester students become eligible for the campus placements. Mostly all the popular companies visit our campus and offer many packages. Companies like google, microsoft and amazon are popular during the placement season. Highest package is around 1.8 Crore offered my Meta and the average package in our department is around 30lpa. According to the previous year data almost 100% students were placed in the previous placement session. My future plan is to join a MNC after completing my B.E. degree at SDE post.

From the 6th sem student are eligible for an internship in various MNCs, and from the 7th sem, place session started, companies like Amazon Flipkart optimum slice, and many other MNCs visits to recruit students, 100% student placed, my plan is becoming an SDE in an MNC.

Before the final year, students are eligible for college campus placement. So many companies like GOOGLE, AMAZON, FLIPKART, TATA STEEL, JINDAL STEEL, etc are visited and up to 90% placement is given to eligible students.

Campus placement here is amazing and is comparable to top IITs. The avg placement in CS/IT is more than 25lpa and for lower branches like mechanical is also 10lpa which is amazing. Higher branches have a 100% placement and lower branches have 70-80% placements

The placement is exceptional at Jadavpur University. From starting of 4th yr students are eligible for placement .there are 150 plus companies coming to Jadavpur University. In technical placement Google,Amazon, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, big four companies, come in ju .in core companies like Airbus, Texas instruments, mobile etc 90 percentage students placed at the average package of 12.83 LPA .highest package is 1.8 crore per year from Facebook.

I want to pursue a course that gives me exposure to the core as well as to the IT sector. Core especially Electronics and Instrumentation. And it gives a very good placement as well. There the faculty and students ratio will be 10:1. That means for every 10 students there is a teacher for guiding them. Most of the teachers are done with P.HD. Some of the teachers are from IISc Bangalore, IIT KHARAGPUR, and various other reputed institutes. They coordinate with students very well. The semester exam will be conducted twice a year. If you follow the teacher's guidelines then you can easily pass the exam.

Placement in this university is top-notch, more than 11 students got 1cr+ packages in companies like Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Samsung, meta etc. Almost 85 % of engineering got placed in this university, and many companies visit this university for placement, all the companies who visit the institute like IIT are also this university, placement condition of Jadavpur university is equal to all top IITs even better than that many IITs. 100+ companies visit Jadavpur university for placement. The highest package is 1.8 crore from Facebook

Over 95% of students get placed in my department of Instrumentation and electronics engineering (IEE). From starting of 4th year, students can seat for interviews and grab placements in top firms. All companies visit here with offers like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Adobe, ZS associates, DE Shaw, IDFC first bank, wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Texas instruments, micron, Samsung, tata, PWC, airtel, reliance, ONGC, Gail, bpcl, hpcl, Nvidia, Intel and many more. Opportunities are endless. The average package is 15lpa and the highest is 42lpa. 95% of students got placed in IEE. After getting the degree, I will continue with the placement that I will get(hopefully a tech company) and after a few years of the experience I want to do MBA and hope for a promotion.
