It provides flagship Post Graduate Programme in Human Resource Management (PGP-HRM) making it the only IIM to offer a specialized 2-year course in Human Resource Management till IIM Indore started similar course in 2017. The college provides great summer internships and final placements. The pedagogy of the institution is excellent. The campus and the hostel are pretty great too.

Remarks:
The first reason to choose my college was the brand of India Institute of Management(IIM). IIM, Ranchi is also to me the best amongst new IIMs. The academic rigour, the pedagogy of teaching and the plethora of opportunities that IIM, Ranchi provides are just too good to say no to.

First of all it's culture, you will not find the junior-senior culture so strong as in IIM Ranchi, Seniors are helpful in every situation. Then ROI and placements is the second one, which is really good. college facilities are really good and it is one of the fastest growing IIM in India.

Human Resource management is the backbone of any organisation in creating a skilled and knowledgable workforce. It deals with several other aspects of an organisaton like providing compensation and benefits, assessment of performance, health welfare, and safety assessment. working towards MBA in Human Resource will give me more oppertunities and expertise in the various fields such as training, employee relation and strategy & corporate networking.

Improved in NIRF ranking as compared to similar colleges. Its in fact improving every year. Professor are quit experienced. Also due to corona pandemic this was destination required least travel from my home.

How good are the placements in IIM Ranchi?

During the MBA placements season at IIM Ranchi in 2022, the highest and average packages offered were INR 42 LPA and INR 16.62 LPA, respectively. A total of 77 companies visited the campus for recruitment, with 21 specifically visiting for MBA HR placements. The highest and average packages offered during MBA HR placements were INR 32.21 LPA and INR 15.63 LPA, respectively.
Top recruiters included Amazon, Ernst & Young, JP Morgan Chase & Co, Thomson Reuters, KPMG, IBM, Deloitte, Flipkart, PeopleStrong, Sony Pictures, Samsung, Aditya Birla Group, L&T, GAIL, ONGC, Michael Page, Cadila Pharmaceuticals. The top sectors for recruitment were finance, operations, strategy and consulting, IT analytics, sales, and marketing.
