I chose IIM Ranchi to pursue my Post Graduation. There are mainly two reasons for that. Firstly, the improved placement record of the IIM Ranchi over the last ten years. Secondly, now IIM Ranchi is in top 20 B-School of India.

It was always a big dream to get into one of the premier institutes of India. During my graduation I was directed by my teachers MBA would be something that would fit me well, this advice coupled with my desire to start a business of my own I opted to try appearing for CAT after proper coaching and I was able to score better percentile than I expected and was lucky enough to make it to the final list of IIM Ranchi.After I converted Ranchi I did a proper study about the campus life at Ranchi. Though initially I was concerned about the lack of a campus After interacting with some of the alumni I realised that it was not much of a problem.Then I enquired about the faculty ROI etc and found out that Ranchi is one of the best New IIMs.With all these information that I gathered I decided to start my journey at Ranchi and so far it has been a great one.

IIM Ranchi, which was established in 2009 has amazing and well structured academic schedule. The pedagogy adds more benefit to students. Highly qualified professors are very important for any institution. The professors here are high qualified ones. IIM Ranchi is more student driven. They have 7 committees, 8 clubs, 9 SIGs & 6 Independent bodies. PGP-HR program adds benefit in placements. In the previous placement reports, we can see the top companies visiting IIM Ranchi.

The college provides a comprehensive learning environment and gives immense opportunity to students. Most of the activities are carried on by the students itself enabling them to experience great moments and also learn skills which is needed in daily life. Moreover, the frequent interactions with industry leaders and experts from various fields helps the students to get a practical approach rather than just a theoretical approach. The hostels are located in a lush green area with access to state of art facilities such as good mess, sports complexes, meeting ares, etc.

I have chosen this college as it provides specialized courses which interests me in less fees as compared to other B schools. Plus the college is not very far from my city, thus providing geographical benefits.

Worked with multiple teams across my work experience i got interested in HR and intended to study Human Resource Management and none of the colleges in IIM fraternity has reached the value that IIM Ranchi has achieved in few years.
