IIM Sirmaur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The institute has been completing 100% placements regularly. Companies visiting the institute include ICICI, HDFC, E&Y, Deloitte, Daimler, DCM Shriram, among others. Their are international placements offered as well, especially for the T&HM course.

The course is a flagship course by one of the prestigious IIMs, even though it's a newer one. There are visiting faculty from the absolute top colleges of the nation. There are international faculty too, few in numbers.

Placements at IIM Sirmaur are a rolling process that begins a month or so after joining the campus. It is completed and conducted by the student-run Placement Committee which provides assistance to all students to ensure 100% placements.

Summer internship starts the moment 1st-month of education is completed. For final placements, students cannot fail more than two exams in the first year to be eligible to sit in placements. Institute offers 100% placements with an average Package revolving around 13 LPA, with companies like ICICI, Deloitte, HDFC, etc hiring numerous students for SIP and final placements every year. The highest Package usually revolves around 25 LPA.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 5th trimester. The average package offered is 11 Lakhs for the batch 2022. The highest package was the 22 LPA offered by Kotak. There are also other companies like Indigene, booking jini, Infosys, and Belgian waffle which visited for the placement of THM students. 100% of student was get placed.

All 180 students from my batch got placed. Highest package= 25L/annum, average= 13L/annum Profiles were consulting, finance analyst, business analyst, management trainee, operations specialist, etc I will be working in the private sector after my MBA.

In the 4th and 5th trimesters, students are eligible to be a part of campus placements. ICICI, Deloitte, Cognizant, etc. The highest placement offered was more than the 20LPA with a decent profile. and the average was more than 12LPA.

The campus placements started from the start of the second year itself and the student's eligibility varied from company to company. There were more than 100 students placed in 60+ companies with an average package of approx. 12 lakhs.

The placements are impressive! The highest CTC is Rs 16 Lakhs per annum, and the average package ranges from 9-10 lakhs per annum. BFSI, Consulting, ED tech, FMCG, IT, Logistics etc are the top industries that recruit from here. The top companies are ICICI Bank, EY, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Bank, etc are the top companies that come here.

The placement scenario is getting better every year. The average salary is around 11.5 lacs. College provides support for the placement. Also, the placement committee is very transparent and helpful. Companies are offering profiles in operation, supply chain, marketing and data analytics. Finance companies are very few till now. If you are good you will be placed. Around 95% of the batch gets placement from the campus. Others are entrepreneurs or have already jobs.
