Placements of VIT university is good, it depends on your skills. many students not opt for placements they choose higher studies thats why the placements opportunities are goood.I have plan to study for Gate.

- . The placements are also quite good (around 9LPA) which is on par with mid level NITs
- The campus size is around 200 acres and it's a big, green and beautiful campus.
Dislikes
- Strictness inside the campus: We are not allowed to go out of the campus without getting parents permission.
- Although I appreciate some of my professors for bein very knowledgeable in their subject, but the other facilities are just not it

Placement Experience:
Placements are quite decent here. Last year around 900 companies visited our campus and the average CTC was around 9 lakhs per annum. Around 75% of students get placed and the others go for higher studies. the highest CTC was 1.02 Crores per annum. I plan on getting at least an 8LPA Ctc placement for college otherwise I'll prepare for higher studies.

- labs are good in the college , they are fully equipped with the elements
- there are good crowd, all the students are pretty good in studies
- hostel facilities are good in the hostel and mess is good
Dislikes
- there is a lot of culture difference , if you are from north india
- faculties did not teach properly , they just want to complete the syllabus
- there are a lot of restriction in the campus like hostel timings and you have to take permission for going out of the campus
Placement Experience:
Placement is better than other private colleges,company come in the college in last year (9th semester),company like deloitte, cognizant, OLX,ey etc.
highest package - 26 lacs (as per my senior)
average package- 10 lacs (as per my senior)
around 85- 90 % students are placed (as per my senior)
after completeing my degree i will do the job only , no further studies

Google,microsoft,ibm,goldsmith,wipro and many more
The highest package was about 32lacks per annum.
The average package is about 8 lacks per annum
Almost 99 percent of the student get campus recruited
If i get a good offer i il take that or will go for higher studies somewhere else

- College provides good education and supports us for any kind of projects or research
- People from many parts of india are here so it helps us to know about them and helps to improve language
- Good infrastructure and the one of the best thing here is library.
Dislikes
- Sometimes faculties shows favour to one they likes and gives marks to non elgibile
Placement Experience:
College provides good placement opportunities. Many MNCs are coming here offering jobs. for integrated mtech placement starts after 8th sem and before that they gives internships.Average package here is like 11-13 lakhs per annum. My plan after this course is to get a mba degree.My course is literally based on business so i wanted to get more into it.

- The campus life is good, and vibrant. The events are diverse and good. Vibrance and technoVIT are the best ones.
- The facilities are good. We have access to essentials inside the college.
- The infrastructure is good, and the law classrooms have AC.
Dislikes
- Some faculties are good and some are bad.
- The hot climate of chennai makes it unbearable at times.
- The food is okayish but nothing compares to home.
Course Curriculum Overview:
In terms of law, as of first year, the sylabus is good and it covers a wide range of topics. The papers are good and the course is interesting. From third year the papers will be solely law and it helps us to gain knowledge.

- The best thing we can choose our faculty and classes schedule for every semester.
- Always we are under security and safety management.
- The hospitality is very good , they will take care of your health.
Dislikes
- They didn't allow to roam around campus after 9pm.
- College crowd is very huge and many no of students.
Placement Experience:
The placements in my college are good , if we work hard then we will get placed in good company. The very big companies like Google, Amazon, TCS etc. visiting very year. Highest package is around more than 50 lakhs and average package is 7 lakhs.

- As a female, I highly appreciate the safety of women maintained in the campus, as well as the measures ensured while going out. The hostels are immensely safe for female students, which I highly admire.
- I love the different types of subjects we get to study every year, from electronics to maths to foreign language to the different programming languages in my course- CSE.
- I appreciate the lab facilities a lot, and the system of grading in my college, which is relative grading for subjects and absolute for labs. Due to relative grading, even in cases of strict correction or difficult paper, the student doesn't suffer.
Dislikes
- I personally don't prefer the extreme system of strict malpractice checking. I have myself been falsely accused once for suspected malpractice when it later got clearly proven that I was innocent.
- I wish invigilators would put right effort into students who actually commit to malpractice and not the innocent ones.
- We have exams literally every month- a little too harsh, perhaps?
Placement Experience:
From the fifth semester, students become eligible for placements. I am as of now not aware of how and what the procedures are, since Im just in 1st year but I have relatives and I have seen an approx 8.19 lpa package to the average crowd every year. Students of 1st year onwards can go for internships.

- Students from all around India and some foreign students enrich the atmosphere.
- Good infrastructure in labs, classrooms and library.

- Transport for dayscholars can be improved.
Placement Experience:
Many MNC's visit the college for campus recruitment and students are given a choice of whether to apply for jobs or apply for higher education and guided accordingly. Big companies like Oracle , Amazon , Microsoft visit the college and since the campus recruitment is central students from all the campus get equal opportunity.

- The campus is really pretty and eco friendly. Very calm for a walk
- Provided with alot of food places like Domino's
- No dress code so we can dress prettily but it shud be modest

- The weather sometimes get too hot and humid but when it rains it's cold but after rain it gets hot

I'm not very sure about the placements here but I heard that most of them get placed. average package for mechanical is 9 lakh per annum and highest is 1.02Cr.i plan to work for a while and do mtech or do mtech straight after btech according to the situation then .

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
