The college has a good placement record.Every year almost 80 % students get placed.This year around 11000 offers has been made from more than 400 companies.The highest package is 1 crore per annum and lowest is 3.36 lakhs per annum

- Fully Flexible credit system. The faculty and time table can be chosen by students for them to plan their extra curricular or other activities accordingly.
- Exposure to extra curricular activities and other real life learnings.
- experienced faculties with hands on experience in learning.
Dislikes
- The crowd and the amount of students is very large which is proving to be not good many times.
- The re evaluation system after exams still needs to be improved a lot.
- the bus fees and the transport both ways should be more alligned towards the fully flexible time table they allow.
Placement Experience:
Our college boasts 100% placement (Which generally means TCS or CTS). Many super dream companies like google, amazon, Dell, Fidelity and many more companies in many different fields and disciplines visit for placements. The highest package goes as high as a crore per year and the average package is around 6 lakh per year.
My plan after the degree is to pursure higher studies in MBA.

- The aspects of the college that i appreciate are the lesser rules and freedom provided by this Institute. Casual wears are allowed and conversations with opposite genders are not seen as a taboo inside the campus. The infrastructure is really great.
- All kind of social interactions are being promoted inside the campus. It has a lot of clubs for that sole purpose of achieving good conversation between the seniors and juniors of the college.
- Labs are well equipped and maintained regularly. There are a lot of components and practical opportunities offered to the students
Dislikes
- The curriculum is strict. Attendance is made mandatory to be more than are equal which is okay, but those who do not maintain it are strictly Debarred from attending any examination Without a proper reason
- There are a lot of procedures to be followed in case we vacate the hostel while our course isnt completely over.
- The college attracted a big crowd. So anyone will feel a lack of enough private spaces in the college campus.
Placement Experience:
Companies come with paid internship offers right from the 6th semester.
TCS and INFOSYS are the top recruiters but still a lot of companies do come to this campus.
The highest package this year was upto 1crore per annum for a cse student
Almost 100? who are sitting in the placements get recruited by some company.
My plan is to pursue higher studies after my undergraduate.

- Schedule of the classes keeping the student engaged throughout the day.
- Excellent air conditioned labs with all the required equipments.
- Clean, green and healthy environment with fresh air to inhale.
Dislikes
- Language barriers with the native people.
- Being a north indian, it was difficult to adjust with the food, but now i am enjoying it. Different kinds of South food items are delicious.
- Library size on considering the number of students in college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Since the syllabus for the first semester of all the branches is same, so right now cannot comment on my branch syllabus. After the first semester, I can say the topics including in the syllabus of all the subjects are good covering all the aspects of knowledge. Perfect ratio of computer programming subjects and other normal subjects. The things taught in college are also helpful for solving the GATE PYQs as i solved some (for Calculus).
The frequency of the exams is also perfect , keeping tge student in study mode throughout the semester.

- Diverse group of people. People from all walks of life come here.
- The scope and support given to research.
Dislikes
- Crowd. It is extremely crowded and there's barely any space to walk around.
- People have 0 civil sense. Washrooms are filthy.
- Food quality is poor. Contagious germinated food.
Placement Experience:
Placements are decent. Out of 12000 people 10000 have been recruited by MASS RECRUITMENT COMPANIES. Very very few students are getting decent offers. Cyber physical systems isnt even getting shortlisted. Highest salary offered by google around 30 lpa.

- There are many students in college so competition is high.

As far as i know , average packages is in my college is of 10 lakh per annum. So it's quiet good, neither bad nor good. Almost 80 to 85 percent students gets placed. My plan after degree to complete masters.

- I like the fact that there are many people who weren't able to get into iits or nits due to the reservation there and have come here and study very well.
- The course structure is also good as it helps you gain a lot of knowledge that will be useful in the future.
- Extra-curricular activities are also encouraged here as there are a lot of clubs to join in this university. Also diverse group of people.
Dislikes
- Fees structure. Feels like some people pay too much per year and in the end it isn't worth it at all.
- The number of people studying here is way too much and needs to be reduced by a LOT.
- Teachers are very strict and give a lot of assignments and work and in the end don't even give full marks.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year students become eligible for internships and from 4th year students are eligible for jobs. But you get a decent offer only if you have a lot of skills and have atleast 9 cgpa. Percentage of students getting placements is very low since most of them like me decide to do higher studies abroad.

- Exposure to the outer companies, club activities, student faculty interaction, unique events
- Way of learning.They allow us to choose our own class timings and we can select extra courses to study during the sem.
- Fun Events and club activities. This makes every students to get a refreshing mind and have some fun.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities. The food and room facilities is not upto the standards of the academic blocks
- Stress. Too much workload than compared to other colleges
- Classroom facilities. It could be improved like making more digital classrooms
Placement Experience:
From 6th semester onwards, students are eligible for campus placements.
Top companies like Amazon, google, siemens have visited and offered very good amount of packages.
The highest package laste year was 1Cr and average packages is around 8-10 lpa
Nearly 90% of students are getting placements
My plan after getting the degree is to do further studies like M.Tech

- Campus Life is very vivid and there are many clubs to involve with. The exposure and the connections we get is good.
- There are many events happening everyday and we get to participate in the ones we like through clubs. We get to watch them in our free time too
- The faculties are well experienced and teach good. They have in-depth knowledge of the subject and provide with industrial visit and guest lectures.
Dislikes
- The hostels have very hectic rules. The hostel intime is 9 pm which is very strict.
- The class timings are hectic and there are many assignments to submit. We have tests every now and then.
- College is crowded. There is competition for almost anything. Lift,food shops,prints shops and it's time consuming
Placement Experience:
It has good placement opportunities and provides students with good assistance. Companies like google, Amazon , meta, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan etc Visit the campus for recruitment. The highest package offered 1 crore per annum and the average is nearly 10 lpa. Almost 90 percent of the students get placed with good packages.

- I dislike the fact that i have to go 15 floors down as i am in 15th floor in hostel
- I have exam each month. I dislike that so much
- I dislike the fact that there are less holidays

There are so many courses to choose from in our college. We can even choose courses from other branches to study. We have the freedom to choose the courses we want to study each semester. Also each courses have indepth concepts so that after course completion we have deep understanding about it

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
This academic year, Atlassian is the employer with the highest salary on offer to Amrita students, with a staggering 52 lakhs offered annually. Microsoft offered 43 lakhs per year in salary, while Cisco hired 27 students at a CTC of 29.18 lakhs per year.
According to the most recent report, the highest and average compensation packages offered during the 2022 placement drive were INR 19.17 LPA and INR 6.72 LPA, respectively. Furthermore, in 2022, 93 recruiters participated in the placement process, placing 261 students in new-age job profiles.
