Course Curriculum Overview:
Some courses are useful for career such as english and sts which are useful in our work environment but there are some courses which is not useful like the math lab course which is of no use and just for learning purpose

- All the faculties are Phd holders and doctorates, they're very skilled and they give the best guidance to every students in any matter possible.
- The lab facilities and comfort and the environment is very suited for learning and the facilities allows me to explore different things.
- All the notes and given in PPTs and the teachers provide us the best notes which is sufficient for the exams.
Dislikes
- There's exams every month and more than 5 Digital assignments and Lab practise assessment tests and these seems to be over pressuring.
- There are some faculties who do get on your nerves and sometimes seems to be very rude.
- Crowd. The college seems to be overcrowded cause ofc there's more than 50k people in here and waiting for lifts in Academics blocks are hectic .
Placement Experience:
At VIT Chennai, students become eligible for campus placements starting from their 6th semester, with placement training beginning in the 5th semester. Top companies or recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Cognizant, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PayPal, Bosch, Accenture, and Intel, among others. In 2023, over 900 companies participated across VIT campuses, making more than 12,000 offers. The highest package offered was ?1.02 crore per annum by a global recruiter, while the average package for core placements ranged between ?6-7 LPA, with Super Dream offers exceeding ?25 LPA and Dream offers ranging from ?10-15 LPA. Around 90% of eligible students get placed, with profiles offered in software development, consulting, analytics, and core engineering. After completing the degree, students often pursue roles in top companies, higher studies, or entrepreneurial ventures.

- Fun college living experience, infrastructure and other facilities 10/10 at my point of view

- Maybe hostels need to build more hostels with good interior design

- The campus is beautiful and has everything inside
- There is dominos and a hair salon too here
- We don't need to go out for every single thing
Dislikes
- We need to get permission for going out everytime
- Girls' in time for hostels is 8 pm at night
- V Mart is closed on Sunday when everyone is free
Placement Experience:
The placements here are pretty decent
The required cgpa for eligibility is 7 CGPA but for super dream package is 9 cgpa
More than 90 percent students get placed
I plan to work for 2 years after getting a job before going for higher studies

- The curriculum is upto dated and can be compared with top prestigious universities.
- Great infrastructure, and diverse culture as people from every place are present
- You will get ample opportunities to prove yourself
Dislikes
- Too much crowd, sometime feels over competitive.
Placement Experience:
In 6th semester companies come for summer industrial internships, and around 400-500 students get placed there. After that in 7th semester, the placement starts and goes till 8th semester. Highest package is of 1 CR per annum and average goes around 8-10LPA

- VIT has good infrastruture and opportunities. It is equipped with best campus and great cultural events like vibrance, technovit etc and hands on experience in areas like ai and robotics
- There are various clubs in VIT chennai, which help you to improve social interactions and find time to do other things outside of academics
- Most of the faculty in vit chennai are experienced and have great competence in the subject they teach
Dislikes
- But during first year they might force you to do a lot of stuff at the same time and the pressure might be a bit more for you
- The hostel food i not upto the quality and many hostellers have complained so.
- The gender ratio for girls is less compared to boys
Placement Experience:
i think its around 7th or 8th sem. more than 300 companies visit vit chennai for placements and the placement rate of students is around 85% to 90%. the highest package offered last year was around 60 lakhs per annum. top recuiters are microsoft google etc

Placements are okiish and baiased, around 1000 companeis come to our college but the amount of students in out also matters in the same way, most of them get placed and others just opt for higher studies, but really big compnaies come

- I like Campus size. its huge 110 acres campus and green over the campus with proper shelters over footpaths for students to transport from heir hostel blocks to college block
- There are enough sources for students to do their projects or increase their learning efficiency.
- high on exposure for students great opportunities and lots of placements
Dislikes
- Faculty is very bad. even for first year their negligency fears us.
- Crowded class rooms and old buildings. Infra for old buildings is very bad

From the end of 5th sem or starting of 6th sem we would get placements and openings.
around 991 companies come to VIT and around 3k students got placed.
Highest package was 59LPA. Average package was 9lpa.
Highest package was offered by Krypto,Texas, Microsoft,Adobe etc
Here placements and offers are categorised as Dream offers, super dream offers,Regular offers and unique offers.
Placement percentage is 90% of students who are eligible for placements for particular companies.
I think of getting good offer and after some years i will plan to go towards UPSE

- Cultural clubs and social clubs are most interesting to participate and socialize with others
- Faculties are helping and if you are good in studies definitely they are going to help you alot.
- Library is good . There place like gazibo, north square, clock court and gym khana to eat and sit.
Dislikes
- 75% attendance policy is not good. They consider you on leave only when you are admitted to hospital, otherwise you are marked absent.
- Exams and quizzes are conducted frequently. So many assignments are given every week.
- 50% marks required to pass the semester.
Placement Experience:
All most all companies visit the college. Big companies like Infosys, TCS etc.also visit the the campus for placement. Average package is around 8.5-9lakhs . If you are good in studies and can apply theoretical knowledge in practical life then there are high chances for your good placement

- This is the most ragging free college you can ever see the seniors are the sweetest they are ready to help you with anything no matter what
- Each faculties has excelled in the field and good knowledgeable teaching is done event IVs are taken for industrial experience
- The chicken fried rice in our college is very nice and the food which we have a lot of variety

- The hostel food is not upto the point it could have been done better
- The classes are till 5:30 sometimes so it would be nice if we have all the busses liek ac buss and affordable
- We neeed more routes because there r many daysholars

In terms of academics, Amrita University matches the IIT syllabus and course structure. The infrastructure and laboratories are in good condition. The college works closely with businesses and other educational institutions. Many academic activities are being carried out to ensure effective information exchange.
College life is the most interesting part. Amrita University's Coimbatore campus is one of the cleanest in India and spans 500 acres. Amrita is a very diverse campus and a great place to make new friends. There is no such constraint. Cell phones are not permitted in the classroom. However, after leaving the classroom, you can talk to your loved ones. A minimum attendance requirement of 80% must be met, or you must present sufficient justification for your absence.
Amrita provides free wifi that is typically 0.5Mbps fast. Aside from YouTube, Facebook, and a few other sites, most academic content is available. Everything else is restricted. Only nutritious vegetarian food is served. The menu is adequate for a South Indian restaurant. If you are a traveler, you will have enough vacation time in Amrita to visit all of India in two years. The resident warden must grant permission for the outing. Every time a girl needs an outing pass, she must submit a fax from her parents. You can earn millions if you plan on participating in and winning every cultural event that is held there. It is an excellent world-class platform for showcasing and honing your skills.
