Good for placements, excellent hostel life and good to learn, apply and fun. A college for all round development.

This is a residential course and the camaraderie built among the cadets enhances the quality of social interactions

Mess Food is okayish and variety is less
There is no WIFI present in a few hostel complexes

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel facility is very good in first year there is a room of 6, in 2nd year room of 2, in 3rd year room of 4-6, in 4th year single cabins are provided. The hostel fees is included in the course fees and hostel is compulsory for all as it is an residential course. The food of the mess is good but there is less variety. 95 % of cadets are those who are from outside, so there is no communal or social challenges that an outsider has to face in the hostel.

The quality of food provided is not up to the mark

There's a table. A chair. Cupboard. Mattress. Bed. 2 to 3 cadets are allotted one room. Socket boards beside each bed. Rest of the things you have to buy. Food quality is not up to the mark. Cleaning staff come everyday.

As we talk about hostel facility our opinion is good .for 1st year hostel 6 cadets are accommodated in large single room,for 2nd year hostel 2 cadets are accommodated .for 3rd year hostel 3 cadets are accommodated.and for 4th year cadets personal room are alloted.

REVIEW FOR IMU - KC.

2nd year hostel is nice to live for a year that you will be in.

Other hostels are not good if you are paying that hefty amount of fee

In first year, you will be accommodated with 6 person in a single room , mess food is we know how it is in every college . Environment is friendly you will be under supervision of a warden. In second year , you will be accommodated with 2 person in a single room the mess is quite big and food is good but limited, same for 1st year mess. In 3rd year, you will be accommodated with 3 person in a single room the mess food is nice compared to 1 and 2 year hostel is not that good in condition. In 4th year , you will be accommodated with 1 person in a single room.

Hostel and fooding facility you consider average .

Hostel facilty is average year wise divided the accomodation for staying in the hostel .like in 1st year 6 cadets are accomodated in one large size room in second year 2 cadet are accomodated in one room in 3rd year 3 cadet accomodated in one room and for 4th year cadet personal rooms are alloted

College review on DMET/ MERI KOLKATA

For first year to third year you have to share room with cadets. In final year you will get your own room. Hostels have newsrooms with 150 plus seating arrangements for each hostel. There are 7 hostel blocks , new junior hostel, junior hostel, east wing, west wing, OBC , L wing and senior hostel.

The hostel mess food okay but sometimes its so bad !!

There is a separate hostel for all the years. For the 1st years in the hostel there is 1 room for 5 5 students and for 2nd&3rd year there is 1 room for 2 students and for 4th year there is a separate room for everyone. The hostel mess food is almost good with number of varieties. The hostel is compulsory for the student and the hostel fees is included in the course fees.

Reality of indian maritime university kolkata campus

Rooms are well ventilated 2 people per room with 2 beds, 2 cupboards, 2 chairs , 2 study tables, well cleaned bathrooms cleaned by workers. Meals are very good and healthy even you will get snacks and tea at evenings everyday. City leave every Sunday.

the accessibility to college building from hostel

There will be maximum 3 cadets in one big room every one get their seperate beds study table and almirah the mess is inside the hostel building only .the overall course fee includes mess and hostel fee as well .

INDIAN MARTIME UNIVERSITY - The Path to your DREAM

There four different hostel for every year cadetsthat live in. In the 1st yers hostle there is 6 people living in a room with facilites of personal table cupboard shelf and bed provided . In 2nd year there is 2 people living in room with a personal cupboard table and chair with an additional balcony , In 3rds also two peoplein room .In 4th years there is room for single people . The mess is also available for different years they serve quite well with both foods for vegeterian and non vegeterian .You have to live in the hostel while doing courses
