Ans. Techno India University and Techno India Salt Lake share the same campus, but there are some differences that set them apart. TIU is a self-financed private autonomous institute. While, Techno India, Salt Lake is affiliated with MAKAUT. For each stream, TIU follows its own syllabus. While Techno India, Salt Lake follows the syllabus of MAKAUT. Techno India University Fees are higher. A B.E or B.Tech from the institute will cost around INR 2.68 Lakhs to INR 6.32 Lakhs. Techno India Salt Lake changes around INR 3.67 Lakhs. Placements are almost the same at both institutes. Given a choice between these two, you should choose TIU because of its administration, advanced curriculum, and better infrastructure.Read more

The competition is much less for chemical engineering students and a lot of facilities are available for them. There are a lot of placement opportunities available for students and they can easily get a job in both core and IT companies. Many students are getting PSU through GATE and some core companies such as BOC, PCBL, Paharpur Cooling towers, Voith Papers, etc. visit the campus for interviews. But if you are interested in technology and coding then you should probably choose Techno India as this college provides very good opportunities to CSE students. The placements available are very good and top companies such as TCS, Infosys, CTS etc visit the college for interviews. The college provides very good facilities and support to teach you coding and if you are really interested in it, then you will be able to master it with your patience and hard work. And your coding skills are not determined by your college or branch. You should be really passionate about it to be successful in this field. Ans. The Haldia Institute of Technology is a well-reputed institute in West Bengal. Given the choice, you should go for it. They have a great faculty base. The placement opportunities provided to the students are also good. Core companies such as Johnson control visit the campus placement to recruit from ECE. According to the recent placement highlights the average CTC offered at the institute is 3.5 LPA. The electrical department has not been doing well in some years now, therefore, it would be advisable to not go for this. Between Techno and HIT the latter is definitely better.
