UCMS Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I chose this course as I wanted to become a doctor. The college faculty are very good teachers and the student-to-teacher ratio varies according to the subject. The faculty are all MBBS, and MD doctors and are very qualified and knowledgeable doctors. The term exams are challenging and at least not very easy to pass, especially the final professional exams.

After completing my internship in GTB hospital ( 1 year with a stipend of 25-30k / month), I will be appearing in the NEET PG entrance exam for admission in MD/ MS course to complete my speciality course.

The MBBS COURSE is a professional course and popular course all over the world. In this you have better opportunities after the course you can increase your qualification by MD, MS after MBBS. MBBS is less chance to job less you can do the job in any hospital as a doctor (physician) or any specialist after MD. And also you can start your clinic. Facility students ration is less but it's enough 10-12 members of faculties in one subject but In UCM students also 170 in one batch So the ratio is good Faculties are more qualified and well experienced. Their knowledge is excellent. Their teaching method is really in a good way. They mostly teach through ppt on projectors and mic. Practicals are performed in good way Teachers help every student to perform practicals. 170 students divided into small groups with a teacher provide to every group so you can perform practical in a good way. Term exam held in every 3,4 months and difficulty is not more but also it is not so easy.

The exam for BSc ( MT) radiography happened once a year. The exam is based on 11th and 12th studies. This exam includes physics, chemistry, and, biology. The duration of this exam is of 3 hours and This exam is held in the college building only.

I chose mbbs because I want to become a doctor. Faculty is appropriate for students All facilities are qualified doctors and method of teaching include classes and hospital postings. Exams are thrice a year, semester exams, sent ups, and then final professional exams. Passing marks required are 50% but if you won't study good, you won't pass...

From the 2nd year the students are eligible for campus placement. So many companies visited our collage and many students are selected for that company from our College 90% of students get placements Every year. I also got a placement in appolo hospital for training.

After the final year is cleared every student has to do a year long internship in the hospital associated with the college which is GTB hospital for UCMS. Students get a lot of clinical exposure there.

As we are MBBS students, we don't place. Our course is of 5.5 years, after 4.5 years we came in internship and in an internship, we get the stipend which is different for every college, we get around 23,000 per month. And after this usually, students prepare for another national exam For PG. And once they clear that exam then they get a stipend. So basically there is no scene of being places. We prepare for PG, and once we get our dream branch er start to pursue them.

Placements are not there in MBS colleges. Most people like to pursue Post Graduation i.e. MD/MS after completing MBBS for which there is the entrance exam of NEET - PG (To become NEXT soon). Post-graduation in UCMS has a stipend of 70k-80k depending on the year in which the person is. Post-graduation is a three-year course. Following Post-graduation, a person can apply for the post of Senior Resident (SR) in a hospital or further prepare for NEET - SS for a super - specialty in a field. Even after MBBS, a person can apply for the post of Junior Resident (JR).

I chose UCMS college as it is DELHI and one of the best. I like dermatology as it deals with diseases of skin. I thought it would be only about scabies and pediculosis but seems there is a lot more to this subject. It is a beautiful subject
