- Teacher are so good. they behave very well. they support all time
- Yes, they provide scholarship fees, the job opportunities are also good and placements are also good.
- Amazing campus and social life. sports culture is one of the best in this college and also the main thing that is placements are the main attraction point of this college
Dislikes
- The hostels facility is not so good. the bathrooms are not so clean and there are hygiene issues. the food in the mess is not that much healthy.
- The things i disliked about my college is the teachers. sometimes the teachers teaches us in bengali language which is not understand by all the students
- The infrastructure of the class is not prominent. we have to ware college uniforms everyday. the projectors are broken in the class. there are broken benches in the class.

- I liked the architecture of this college.
- The campus life life here is pretty good .You can see greenery every where.

Placement Experience:
From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements.we get many companies like TCS , Mahindra,tata steel, Wipro , Infosys etc. About 75-85 percent students get placed every year .Last year we got 90% placement. Highest package inside the campus is 27 lakh and outsid it is 40 lakh.

- That is a village area,there are no tourist place
- Collage is maximum non Bengali students , I'm Bengali so I feel along
- This college I not fill bad, it's always better than other colleges, senior are very helpful for grownup
Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose ECE because ECE have two way it and core.
This faculty students ratio is comfortable.
Teacher and faculty members are friendly and they always care you like parents.
Exam are so important, the teacher are done it very carefully

- LOCATION OF THIS COLLEGE IS NOT GOOD , SENIOR INTERACTION
Placement Experience:
students are eligible for the placements from 6th semester. They got internship in various companies and the average package that is being offered to the students are around 4LPA to 5LPA and the highest package got 42LPA in ECE and the companies which comes for the placement in our college are TCS, WIPRO , COGINTO , INFOSYS and so on.

From the 3rd year the students are eligible for placement....Wipro TCS and many other companies visit in our college....the highest package is 12 lpa and the avg package is 4 lpa ...almost 80 to 85 percent students get placed from the college....I would like to join a big MNC companies like Google Microsoft etc...

- Faculties are good here.Most of them are well qualified
- It attracks me most .Best thing of HIT

- The management cell is not good
- Ruling of Seniors:all seniors are not good.
Placement Experience:
form 7th sem students can sit for placement exam.Placement is quirt good in this college.but this yr you only 200 students placed out of 1000 due to recession time .But if you work hard for 4 yrs ,you can easily grab a placement.

- College campus is good and college fest are really osm. We really enjoying the college life.

Placements are good but you have to work hard to get your dream job.college will give you only the opportunities you have to grab it by you only.this is private colleges you have to work hard to get your dream job.

- Campusing is very good. Hostel is also very nice.
Placement Experience:
This college has very nice placements and it is approximately five lakhs which is the average placement package of this college. Last year 2022, ninty one percentage students got placements including the highest of 27 lakhs.

- Campus Life of College is very good and enjoyable.
- Some teacher good in there subjects and very supportive
- I like to show some interesting facts that Haldia has very good infra structure.
Dislikes
- Location of Haldia institute of technology is not good
- Behaviour of senior student towards junior student is rude.
- Some rudes teacher is always there who doesn't support poor students
Placement Experience:
Placement is not going well in this year because there was a ression period and campus provides minimum package but not so well.
The companies are conzigen,Dettol, Flipkart,Haldia petrol chemical,HCL,Wipro, TCS.
In this year the placement percentage is 21% as I know.
I planned that I try for better placement form off campus.

HIGHEST PACKAGE 40LPA FROM THIS COLLAGE , AND AVERAGE PACKAGE IS 5-6 LPA

- The clubs,the society and the teachers here are so good.

- There are so many exams and assignments which we have to submit.
Placement Experience:
As far as my knowledge is concerned, I think after 7th semester students are eligible for the placements. There are so many companies which visits our college every year for the placements.The average package offered here is around 5 lacs and highest package been offered here was 28 lacs.

Haldia Institute of Technology is one of the largest residential engineering institutes in West Bengal. It is spread over an area of 36.98 acres of land and has been ranked at 163 position by NIRF ranking. The college is also accredited with A grade by NAAC
Courses:
The college offers various courses- B.Tech, M.Tech, MBA and MCA with a number of specialisations. The college offers B.Tech in CE, CSE, ECE, ME, IT, EE, Biotech and in many other specialisations and M.Tech in ECE, CSE, CE, ME and Biotechnology. The college has also offered new courses for B.Tech in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and cyber security. Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Chemical Engineering are top departments.
Placements:
As per the data of batch 2017-18, 72% students were placed and around 140 companies visited the campus for placements. Some of the top recruiters were Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra, Amazon, Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd, Nestle, Adani Wilmar etc.
Fest:
The college also organises annual cultural fest “Riviera” and annual Techno Management fest- Prayukti”. A lot of competitions and events are held during the fest and different colleges participate in the same.
