Likes

Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Heritage at its glance

Likes

Good classroom well maintained infrastructure of the campus .
Good sports facilities for students . Well maintained ground
Good explore at college for the student .

Dislikes

Boys hostel is not there at college .student face problem for hostel.
Canteen at college should be more to control the crowd.
Transport facilities is also not so good .

Placement Experience:

Many companies arrived here almost 82% of students got their placement. And some of the students decide to go abroad or anywhere else for higher studies. IBM, Wipro, TCS, Amazon, Mahindra, and many more companies are listed there at their website.

The heritage Life

Likes

The campus is huge and provides every facilities.
Placements are given to the maximum number of students.
The ambience is good to concentrate on studies.

Dislikes

The swiming pool is not for the college students.
Some teachers have rude behaviour to their students.
The field is not clean and is short in length

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semesters can get the opportunity for placements. The companies like TCS, IFB have visited and a number of offers were made. The lowest package is 3lpa and highest is 12lpa. 90% students get placements. I want to begin my own start up.

This is autonomous college so it is its best part.
Ya absolutely here canteen is very good.
Here faculties are well educated and experienced.

Dislikes

Here you have to face some language issue if you are not from bengal.
Some faculties are not supportive here .
Campus is too small here so one can not enjoy too much here.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year one can sit for the placements. As far as I know highest ctc is 44 lpa but unfortunately, it was from off campus, and from on campus average ctc offered is about 500000. I think one should definitely work on his/her skills to get a job.

Experience in college

Likes

Teachers are so friendly and good . Many opportunities provided in college for joining many workshops conducted by iit kgp
Many Seminars are happened in college and seniors are so much friendly
College is so clean and clear , some teachers are so much friendly like big brother

Dislikes

They are too much focus on mar points, so I didn't like it
There is no freshers party and cultural fest happened in college
College hours are so long so I can't prepare for other studies

Course Curriculum Overview:

I love electronics and communication engineering so I choose this subject Faculty= 1:10 Some faculties are very great in their profession, they are so knowledgeable and their method of teaching is very good Term exams happened within 3 months and it is moderate to pass the exam

A roller coaster of my coming 4 years

Likes

I liked about the college is that from first day all of faculty members and speakers encourage all freshers.
The seniors are also very helpful and there is completely no ragging which i liked alot
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . The natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

May be i thought that classroom have ac but thats okk if it not
Yes the hostel charge is too high i thought it may be less so it help alot
And same as mess fees too. On campus hostel and mess fees is bit high

Course Curriculum Overview:

They are very helpful and all courses have a certain head of department known as how they help with every query about the subjects. The faculty members also teach well and understand each topic very well. As I am from Bihar some sometimes have problems with the language.

COLLAGE IS REALLY GOOD.

Dislikes

Only Girls Hostel In The Collage. Boys Hostels Are Outside Of Campus.

Placement Experience:

The Placements Are Good For This College. Over 90 Percent Of Students Are Placed In Cse Every Year. And For Other Branches, The Placements Are Little Bit Low. But The Overall Placement Ratio Is Good. Many Companies Visited Like Wipro, Tcs, and Infosys.

Heritage - The Untold Story

Likes

Coding Environment - GDSC affiliation, Hackheritage, Separate labs full of computers
Campus Life - Big ground, scope for every popular sport
TCS only takes upto 40% of the students (Avg package offered by them isnt upto mark)

Dislikes

Some faculties - Some are very bad at teaching
Hectic Routine - For sem 1 IT students , they have to spend 37 hours in college atleast.
Location - Location is such that you cant find good pgs in 1 KM radius

Placement Experience:

Seniors tell that this collg provides more than 6 lakh as a average package to the CSE and IT students. TCS is the main recruiter. TCS is the major recruiter that takes up around 35 to 45% of the students. Other recruiters are ITC Infotech, Infosys,Cognizant,Wipro etc. 80% of the students get placed at usual.

Lift in ICT building...worst and only one lift in that building
Irregular clubs and adjacent areas of campus
Campus is a little bit away from main town

From the 3rd semester, students become available for campus placement. IBM, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and Foxconn, visit campus every year. Average placements vary from 6 to 8 lacs per annum. I want to pursue higher studies after graduation.

Best private college for Mca in west bengal

Likes

Professora do give lot of efforts to teach.
Lab facilities are really good. We can also stay back professor will help
College routine is fixed in a way no time gets wasted ,

Dislikes

Fees too high would have been better if it was bit low
We aren't allowed to enter college through gate no 1, we have to walk atleast for 6/7 mins more and enter through gate number 7
Lab computers are bit outdated, doesn't run smoothly

From 2nd year. we are eligible for placement. It's 2023 this year up to now (nov) only the SMS group and IBM visited, and only 8 students placed, highest up to now this year is 7-8 lpa(something around this), my plan - is to be employed by 2026.

Good for Placement. Many well known companies are came for placement.
College Campus is very good and clean. Campus life is good.
Library and Labs are very good in Heritage Institute of Technology

Dislikes

There are no college fest and freshers are organized in this college.

Placement in Heritage is quite good. Many well-known companies like IBM, Pwc, EY, Grant Thornton, and LTI came to campus. The Highest package is 10 LPA and the average package is 6-7 LPA. About 80% of students are getting placements.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.
