Likes

Students can get scholarships like swami vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Companies like tcs, wipro, info, tejas network, grant thomson, pwc india, ibm, etc, and the placement percentage is also so good approx 90 percent of students get placed.
The campus is so beautiful and peaceful . the natural environment is there so i liked it

Dislikes

Fees is little bit high so it is a problem for a middle class guy
From the last 3 year's there is no fest organized due to students fight
There are no boys hostel inside campus which is not good

Best Private college in West Bengal

Good Coding Culture,here you can find that the coding club which is GDSC is active .
Course structure is good. You see that by time to time curriculum update.
Faculty members are good and they are helpful and supportive in nature.

Dislikes

Campus is not very big as I thought earlier.
You are not allowed to Heritage School Campus area.
College have to held fest in every interval of time which is required.

Placement Experience:

Placement records are good. Almost all the companies are from the IT sector. So all branches have to prepare for the IT companies. Some of the top Companies are IBM, TCS, Infosys, Microsoft, etc. The average package is 5lpa and the highest is 15lpa on campus and 44lpa from off campus. Almost 88% of students placed.

A short glance on HITK

Likes

The first thing which liked when i entered in the college was its Campus.
Second thing was library. It has a great library.

Dislikes

The autonomus system of cllg where sometimes you will feel that the teacher is biased.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Mechanical engineering in Heritage is great and one of the most opted courses in Heritage. I was having interest in practicality of physics thats why i opted for mechanical engineering. Faculty to student ratio is great here, it would be around 1:10. All the faculties are well qualified, they have either completed their PhD or are in the process so they are well qualified. The term exam will happen on time and you have to work hard to pass the exam as the exam process is very strict here so you can not pass with just one night of study.

There are many extra curricular activities are here.
There are two canteens present in our college campus.
Labs and library are attractive for students.

Dislikes

There is no any hostel facility available in campus for boys.
For non Bengali students language barrier in most disappointing thing.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies visited in our college for placement. After 6-7th semester placement will start. For good package you have to score CGPA above 8. The average package of our college is about 5lakhs. Many companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc, want CGPA above 7.5 . There is about 80-85 percent students get placed.

Likes

Faculty members are very supportive they support you to build skills.
There are 2 canteens facility available.
Sports club, seminars, and big library are present.

Dislikes

Girl's Hostel fee is quite high as compared to other outsider hostels.
There is no any freshers party provided by college.

Placement Experience:

For college placement, you have to get a CGPA above 7.5, For many companies you require a good CGPA. After 6th or 7th semester companies come to our campus to give placement. There are about 90 percent of students get placement.

I liked the faculty and campus and Library.
Campus is so beautiful natural vibes is coming.
Labs and practicals are also so good I like it.

Dislikes

On campus hostel is really too high according to the price.
As same as mess fee is also high .they have to minimise it.
There is no ac available in all buildings.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement. There are many companies visiting the college. highest package is 44 lakh and the average is 4 lakh. Maybe 80% of students get placement. I want a good placement after the degree.

It has two canteens which are very big and the meal quality from the canteen very good.
Our college placements are very good as many good companies visits our college
Faculty and teaching method is very excellent.

Dislikes

Only one thing that I dislike is that there are no boys hostel on the campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bcoz I basically interested in technology line i.e., computer and I want to make my passion in software or computer engineering. 1:2 Every faculties are highly qualified from reputed university like Calcutta University, Jadavpur University etc. and some of them have done phd also. As term exam in our college is not so difficult and it always be happen at the end of semester. Professors also take class test when our module gets finished.

I like most about this college is Canteen.
I love to spend my time in library as there is so much peace.
College infrastructure is quite good and so many trees and flowers are there.

Placement Experience:

Placement facilty for btech is quite good for MCA is not as good as btech but placement facilty is there and some student already got placed. Name of companies are IBM, edtech company Jaro education etc.

There are very high skilled teachers and very friends they are
The instrafructure is also so good ans the lab are maintained
There are many sports present in college like cricket volleyball etc

Dislikes

The location is very bad its 2 km from ruby hospital
The timing for 1st yesr very frustrated its 9_4
They dont conduct any tech fest cuktural fest

I choose this course because Job opportunities in it sector and govt sector are more Faculty:student ratio is1:16 And the teachers are very high qualified They completed their mech from jadhavpur university

Teachers are quite good and helpful. They will help you out.
Canteen is good. You will get veg, non-veg everything.
Clubs are nice. You can join club and learn and participate through them.

Dislikes

Placement is not good at all. You will not get opportunities.
No fest is organized after covid. It's quite frustrating
Campus is so small. Don't imagine a big campus before admission

For MCA it's not good. If you are from b Tech you will get opportunity but in mca opportunities are quite less. Hardly you will get placement of 4 lakhs also it's quite difficult becoz they will not let you sit in the placement drive

The most important thing I liked is the campus which is very very large and it has more than 5 playgrounds and green environment in every corner of the campus you will get trees. The student teacher understanding is very good I liked it very much .

Dislikes

The thing I dislike is that they should allow cycling inside the campus as the campus is very large we get exhausted to go to one building to another

Placement Experience:

From 3yr students are eligible for campus placement. There are more than 50 companies visited. Highest package- 44Lpa. Lowest package - 4 Lpa. 77% of students got placement in 2022. I will take govt exams since I want a railway job.

Heritage Institute of Technology is the best private college in Kolkata with good campus life. A senior of mine is an alumnus of the college and he always speaks about its infrastructure, placements, and campus facilities.

Location: - It is located near the prime market of Kolkata making it well connected to communication services.
Fees: - The fess has been increased slightly but if admission is granted you’re are eligible to apply for a study loan
Labs: - All the facilities and the technologies in the lab are up to date and well equipped for ease of handling by the students.
Professors: - all the professors are highly experienced, some with a Ph.D. degree, and they are well known and acknowledged in society.
Library: - Fully stacked with books, articles, research papers and has access to many foreign libraries accessing outside files.

The campus has a huge ground and it also has a large pond. It has a very well-maintained infrastructure. They also provide students with all the necessary facilities. The canteen serves very well but it is really expensive. But overall it is manageable for students.
