Likes

Location and accessibility of this college
Gives priority to many sports events which are organised every year
Some faculties are much helpful and teaches also well ,understandable.

Dislikes

Don't allow to take any intership programs.
It has a college dress code which I personally don't like.
No cultural events where all college students will gathered ,some artists will be invited.. this type of any events are not organised by our college authorities.

Placement Experience:

Placement scenario is also ok ok... Cognizant,mindtree and some other companies visited our college to take students through campus recruitment. I have heard that mainly from 4rth year starting placement programs are started. 3.5- 4 LPA is the average package of our package you can say.after getting degree ,I will go to job at first.. till now I have no plans for higher study or research.

Placement Experience:

From around about after 6th semester students are eligible for the placement in the campus companies like cognizant mind tree etc comes in college the average packages 3.5 lakhs per year and maximum packages 11 lakhs per annum

Insight of STCET Kolkata

Likes

Some of the faculties are quite friendly and help the students a lot.
Every year, an annual sports festival is held.

Dislikes

The college doesn't organise any sort of fests.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for campus placements after completing the sixth semester. Companies like TCS, Wipro etc. come to this college for placements. The highest package offered was about 8lakhs, while the lowest is about 3lakhs.

From about after 6th semester we are eligible for the campus placement. The company which visited are cognizant, mindtree, NRIFT,etc. The average package is 3.5 lakhs per annum and maximum is 11 lakhs per annum.60% are getting the place

Placement Experience:

After 6 semester students are eligible for campus placement companies that visited or like Infosys Cognizant Mindtree etc highest package was around 11 lakh and average will be around 4 lakh the students of getting placements is around you can get around 60%

Likes

This college is very beautiful and are campus are more big
Some facilities are very helpful and all student are very happy
College location is very beautiful and in classroom so clean

Dislikes

Is very streat college and very old college
Building building is very old and many teacher are so strictly behave
College campus are same as a school very very small canting spot

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have interested in coding so foted I obtained food biting in IT facility student ratio is good and their hiding more facilities most of the facility member have the phd examination are taken in every 6 month

The college campus is large and vast with greenery and open areas.
The teachers are encouraging, motivating and professional.
The placement opportunity is good with many students getting good jobs.

Dislikes

The classrooms get very hot in the summer with no room for AC
Not a lot of extra curricular activities organized by the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I liked it and had an acute interest in this subject and the opportunities it offered. The faculty student ratio is very good. Every faculty is well educated and higher degree holder.

Some of the teachers are quite helpful and even the friend circle
Sports category in this college are quite interesting like we can play many Sports

Dislikes

Campus is actually the campus of the school the college have a very small campus
Some of the teachers are quiet rude they don't help the students
They don't provide internship and even don't allow you to do it

Unbiased Review Of St Thomas College of engineering and technology

Likes

I really liked the academics of this college.
I really liked the sport events and tournaments that are held in this college.
I really liked the college events like farewell and freshers held every year.

Dislikes

The thing that I disliked about the college is the college is very strict when it comes to discipline.
The thing I disliked about this college is that this college is very strict on attendence of the students
The thing I disliked is this college is very strict when it comes to coming late to college. If you ar even 10 mins late to first class they won't let you enter .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very good . The course is actually the same as computer science engineering. There is literally no difference. The faculty is actually very good and helps us all the time with any problem we have . The exams were difficult as the paper is very weird. The distribution of syllabus in the question paper is not equal at all . The pratical exams are way though.

Likes

Some faculty member are very good and helps us all the time.
The way of teaching of some to the faculty.

Dislikes

The college doesn't has it own ground. Infact the it is sourounded by school campus so there are many restrictions.
The college doesn't allow us to do any kind of internship. I don't know why but the just don't allow
Some of the faculty are very rude , and they treat us like we are in a school.

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for placement after 6th semester. Cognizant, NRIFT, etc. Companies come in the college and offers job. The highest package is around 10 lpa and average is around 3-3.5 lpa. If you are in CSE or IT branch you then there is 80% chance you will get job if you study hard.
