St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Various companies come in this college. 2 years ago a student from EE department got an offline package of 1.2 Cr 8n Amazon Dubline as SDE. To seat in the placement process, a particular criteria is provided by the company which varies per year.

I am a student of Information Technology branch in this college. The faculty of this department are very good, teachers are very helpfull to the student, their are almost 65 to 70 student in every year in this branch. The end sem examination are tough,their are 4 invigilators in a room at the exam time and also the in the internal examination

The course curriculum is adaquete and every teacher's teaching method is excellent. They have different opinion on different matters but at the end we always get good result out of it. The terms are difficult but with good mentoring it is possible to get good marks.

The students become eligible for campus placement from 4th year onwards. The highest package is 10lpa and avg is 6.6 LPA. The placement percentage is 85%. My plan after getting the degree is to crack gate so ths

The campus placement mainly starts from the 7th semester that is the starting of the fourth year. The main visitor companies are service based IT company that is cognizant, Infosys, Wipro ,mindtree etc. Average package is decent like 4 lpa and highest package on campus is 8-9 LPA . Generally all students can placed in the companies but the main criteria is that he has to have good coding knowledge with problem solving skills. If you want to know about my plans after the course degree that is my main plan is to get a job in any company but main my main focus is on pursuing masters degree after Btech. as for my interest.

In webjee councelling, I got selected for this perticular cource from this college. Faculty level is avarage. One or two teachers are hardly helpful . Most of the faculties have done PhD from well known Universities.

Placement is quite good.Avg Package is around 6 To 7 lpa , companies like CTS ,Mindtree , Infosys and Many more companies visits and recruit freshers. Almost 90% students got placed. This college is a little bit strict and have good discipline.

From the 7th semester onwards, the students become eligible for placements. There are various companies like Nomura Fintech, P360, Cognizant, LTIMINDTREE, and Infosys that visit the campus every year. More or less 85-90% of students get placed every year.

I was interested in Nano Technology and VLSI Design as well as I was also interested in Coding, hence I chose this Course Faculty / Student = 1/10 Most of the Faculty are PhD holders Term exams were done twice in a Semester

The placements of my college are good. As from 4th year, you are eligible for Campus placements. The companies visited in our college are Infosys, CTS, Mindtree, Nomura, and P360. The highest package is 10 LPA in College and the lowest package is 4 LPA. There are almost 80-85% of the students got placed in our college. After getting my degree I am ready to join in company from where I got the offer.
