Best thing is our college is in the north campus of delhi university
The campus of our college is excellent give good vibes
Almost all facilities are nearby college as kamla nagar is in front of college

Dislikes

University Exam is difficult for passing

Course Curriculum Overview:

I found my course easy and understanding for me. Teachers are also good, explain nicely and make easier to understand the topic. Exam are on semester basis 2 times in a year and a my course is for three years.

I love the music students playing guitar in college

I dislike the dirty politics of the campus and hostel students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I love to study plants and botany is my favorite subject in science so I opted for this course. The student-faculty ratio is around 10:8. Faculty members are graduated post-graduated as well as Ph.D. level studied. And they have also been made to study at foreign universities. Term exams are held properly every 5 months and they are so easy. And fast to do.

Likes

A few cooperative teachers who helped in self development and moving forward in life.

Dislikes

Basic aminities such as cold water during summers and water in washrooms were not available.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had an interest in from since my 12th standard. That's why I opted for this course. The faculty-student ratio was ok and the faculty was cooperative and helpful too. Term exams used to take place once a semester along with an internal examination during the semester. And they were easy to pass if you study properly.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students get eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Flipkart ekart mantra ICICI bank future etc came to our campus for placements. The highest package received by a student was around 8 lakhs per annum and the average package received by students is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. 40 per cent of students get placed in companies other students do not take part in all this because they want to pursue their future studies as well. My plan after getting the degree is to study for the CLAT exam.

I like everything in my college and in my college friends.

I dislike the political students in our college they create a chaos.

My plan after getting the degree is to study for the CLAT exam.

Best college of north campus

I like the college canteen food .every item is so much delicious and very tasy at very low cost .i just love this.
I like the way of teaching of teachers they make us teach topic in a very cool way.

Dislikes

I hate the rare dirty politics which happen in the campus by the political parties .

From 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Multiple companies visited college campuses like Flipkart, Amazon, myntra , snapdeal , olx , future first, ICICI , tresvista , Josh Talks, and many many more. I can't mention all companies you can check on the college website and on the search bar Search for placements you will get to know everything. Trust me it's fabulous. The highest salary package offered by the company to a student was about 9 lakh per annum and the average salary package is about 6 lakh per annum. About 40 percent of students get placements and other students do not take part in all this because they want to pursue their further studies at postgraduate and Ph.D. level. My plan after getting a degree is to prepare for civil services exam I.e. upsc.

Reality of hansraj College

Likes

Campus,canteen, playground, faculty, societies
Events, principal, Library, departments also
Washrooms are clean and spacious,and hygiene

Dislikes

My department is not in the college campus
Behaviour of members in office is not too Cooperative
Canteen can be improved and better in food quality

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because of my interest in geology. There are total of 58 students. Qualification of the faculty is good but teaching methods should be improved. The term exam was just in 2.5 months. Many admissions were late and students are still coming and it's problem.

Hansraj: Beauties and dirts

Likes

The society culture of Hansraj college is really sort after, we get to learn a lot as individuals and get the opportunity to grow, compete and diversify
The faculty of our dept and others also are really qualified professors
The campus now has Mitti cafe, Nescafé and meal station other than the college’s own canteen, recently the college has also started renovations across the college

Dislikes

Some of the classrooms are very small and it leads to suffocation during summers specially
The total area of college is smaller than all other colleges of north campus

5th semester LEK, Bain and Co, DeShaw, No brotherhood, and Deloitte, are a few big companies, with about 5 offers per company on an avg Highest package- 25 lakhs per annum; Avg- 10 Lakh per annum 60-70% After getting the degree, I would apply for Master's in Economics at university abroad

The campus life is amazing as it is centrally located
You get a lot of exposure with respect to societies and the events the conduct
The college life is very good where you interact with some many people of different backgrounds

Dislikes

Our college don’t have there own annual fest
There could be better internships opportunities
There could be better facilities and courses offered

Placement Experience:

From 5 sem the students become eligible for placements and the placements are pretty good like they offer good packages. My plans after my degree won't be taking up placement but to continue my studies and do a master's.

Various private companies are offered in placement. Sometimes they can be subjective to the specialisation. Usually, there's no specific eligibility for 1st year or 2nd-year students. Companies can offer around 4lakh-5lakh packages per year on average. Usually, students prefer to get placements outside the campus.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
