CS at Hansraj

I liked the Hansraj Campus. It has the best campus as it is in North campus of DU.
The faculty members of our college are very cooperative and helpful. They would suggest in in field of your life.

Dislikes

The events sometimes gets cancelled due to great crowd.
Even the permission is not permissible in case of events in late evening.

Placement Experience:

The company have field of many scopes also other than the tech field but if we talk about tech field then there tech associates post, tech consultant and software developer. The highest paid salary was given by DE Shaw last year of 21.5 Lac CTC. Around 90% students are placed through the college. I am thinking to pursue Masters after my graduation degree

I hate the bad politics of hansraj college campus which very much vulgar

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students get eligible for campus placements. Many companies like Flipkart ekart myntra ICICI bank, HDFC bank, botany research institutions etc came to our campus for placements. The highest package received by a student was around 8 lakhs per annum and the average package received by students is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. 30 per cent of students get placed in companies other students do not take part in all this because they want to pursue their future studies as well. My plans after getting the degree are to study for the air force entrance exam

Best college of north campus

I love the south indian food of our college canteen it so delicious and yummy.

Dislikes

I hate the bad politics in our college campus.

The highest package received by a student was around 8 lakhs per annum and the average package received by students is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. 30 percent of students get placed in companies other students do not take part in all this because they want to pursue their future studies as well. My plan after getting the degree is to study for the UPSC exam. I want to become an IAS officer.

Better intership opportunity

The crowd is pretty good and looks like it's a great place to be
Faculty and different kind of events are great opportunity
The sport facilities are pretty good we have badminton court cricket ground

Dislikes

College library should open 24 hours .
Annual fest should be conducted asap. .
I don't find another negative point .

Placement Experience:

Yes our college provide placement and they are good . The avg package for the last session is 7 lakh per annum and the major mnc s are recruiting from our college on different profiles like finance , consulting . But for our course mainly 2 profile are recruited and they are consulting and sales .

I love the teachers of hansraj teach us there subjects they are so amazing and wonderful

I hate the dirty politics in the campus of hansraj college done by some bad students

My time at Hansraj College

Likes

I got the unique opportunity to meet a lot of amazing people which helped me improve my network
I recieved research opportunities in second semester
The practical application at Hansraj College is one of the best in DU. Not to mention Hansraj has the biggest library in the DU.

Dislikes

Placement is not really good. It could be better
Campus is small. And often i feel the architecture could have been a little better
I feel the syllabus for my course shall be updated with better books and more defined concepts

Placement Experience:

I'm still in the second year of my college but from what I've seen the placement are fine and you get to experience a lot. The highest package was around 20,00,000 and average package is 600000 rupees.

I love the mitti cafe food in our campus it so much delicious and tasty.

Dislikes

I hate the dirty politics of ABVP in our campus.

The highest package received by a student was around 8 lakhs per annum and the average package received by students is 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. 50 percent of students get placed in companies other students do not take part in all this because they want to pursue there future studies as well. My plans after getting the degree are to study for the MBA exam. I want to Crack the IIM Institute and want their admission.

Opinion on Hansraj College by it's own student

Likes

The college provides us with many opportunities and encourages us to participate.
The facilities are good and support us to perform at our best.

Dislikes

There was no non veg being served

Placement Experience:

There are placements offered by the college. There are job melas and internship drives as well. The highest package received last year was 20.5 LPA. The average package was 5.7 LPA. About 70% of students received placements. My plan after getting the degree is to work for a year or two and then apply for MBA in abln abroad country.

Best North campus experience at Hansraj College

Likes

The campus life is like none other, especially as part of Du’s North Campus
The society atmosphere is very enthusiastic and active with fests and events happening every other day
Sports facilities are top notch, every person gets a chance to try their skills at sports here.

Dislikes

Class infrastructure needs a bit improvement, washrooms are often lacking in amenities.
Professors are strict in terms of attendance
Canteen food is particularly not good, however there are other food joints inside the campus

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are highly rewarding and are usually provided in the 3rd year, with internships available in the 2nd year. The averag package is around 10LPA, and a lot of renowned companies offer recruitments here, including, DE SHAW, Bain etc

All About Hansraj College

Likes

College is pretty. Its red walls looks so beautiful.college remain clean all the time canteen is good with decent food at affordable price.
College care about animals there is a Goshala in college
There are multiple ACs in almost all the classes

Dislikes

Faculty of few subjects is not up to the mark
College is a bit is small in area it remains crowded most of the time
There are multiple teachers for one discipline

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty of Hansraj College was quite impressive. Hansraj is known for its faculty that's why I opt for Hansraj. One Professor has to teach almost 90 students which I my opinion is a problem. Most of the professor are very qualified and are very at teaching.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
