Breif and Crisp: Why I opted for History was because of two reasons: a, I absolutely love it and I want to do something for this subject. b, To understand the present, one has to understand the past, in order to figure out the future. Faculty of my college is the second best in the North India. It is old, experienced and open to new ideas. It is not communist but is neither capitalist. So, staying in the grey was the way of life in Hansraj History Department for me. My college has various opportunities for everyone. It has had a distinguished alumni and various avenues for my interests like debating and football.

Well life at hansraj is kind of similar to the life you would have imagined while watching Student Of The Year movie. You can see people dancing in one corner and fashionistas flaunting their heels in another one. You can see nerds sitting in lawns, discussing the topics taught in class and there can be carefree ground just sitting at LP( hanging spot), talking random shits, and checking out cute girls.

Delhi University is one of the most valuable universities in India. It gives the students the required exposure, excellence in academia, beautiful campuses everything that a college goer can dream of. Hansraj College is one of the top rank colleges in India by NAAC and NIRF. Shahrukh Khan to Anurag Kashyap, our alumini base is enormous. Hansraj's annual fest is one of the most popular annual fests in Delhi University. Being in the middle of the north campus and Kamla market you can send your cancelled lectures'(if any) time shopping in Kamla market.

One of my friends graduated with a B.A Economics (H) from Hansraj last year. So, I think I can answer your question.

Here are some of the best things about the institute.

This college has an ‘old world’ feel. The infrastructure of the college is great.
The fee structure is affordable as compared to other private colleges.
It has some incredible graduates, including Shahrukh Khan, Ranvijay, and Anurag Kashyap. The list is really long.
Amazing crowd, the individuals here are both fun and hardworking at the same time. Admission is based on merit in qualifying examinations.
Some of our professors are truly amazing, you will not find such professors at other colleges, even SRCC.
There are many societies to explore like dramatics, photography society, and fine arts society, etc.
The hostel was my friend’s home for three years, and there is simply no better place to stay when studying at Hansraj. However, it doesn’t have a girls’ hostel.
North Campus has the best college location.

You will not regret choosing the institute.
