Dislikes

I took cuet and cut for my course varied based on different combinations and categories also admission through cuet is very haptic it's a very long process a simple mistake can ruin your whole admission process
I also disliked the administration block of my college because they do every in a very gradual manner. many time main members go on leave.
I didn't like the fact that there wasn't any sports quota for volleyball

KIRORI MAL COLLEGE FOR GEOGRAPHY HONOURS

Likes

Library, Ashoka Lawn, Atmosphere especially non judgemental students.
Societies: eco club, Musoc, Sensation, TRT etc.
Faculty and teachers especially professors are very approachable.

Dislikes

Canteen. The food really needs improvement
Infrastructure. The buildings need a renovation.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of its practical component like Remote Sensing, Statistics, etc. which improves the chances of jobs abroad. The faculty at this college is the best with highly qualified professors. The student: Faculty ratio is 30:1. All the teachers are Ph.D. holders.

Likes

Life is good at campus of my ...college.
Teaching staff is way better than other ones.
Infrastructure is so much good of my college.

Dislikes

The playing ground is not very much large.
Freshers party was not that much good, they didn't provide us food.
Assignments and test are conducted regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I want to be a professor of Physics. Faculty of my college is far better than other private and government colleges. Student ratio is about 1:4. Almost all Teachers are qualified from IITs.

Life at KMC

Likes

Since attendance isn't an issue, you can figure out ample amount of time for other activities.
Teachers are mostly very helpful and qualified

Dislikes

Infrastructure isn't upto my expectations

The teaching faculty seems qualified and they are good enough. It's hard to find good professors but that's not the case here. You can find top-quality teachers in almost all the colleges of the University of Delhi.

The Famous Delhi University- KMC college

Likes

It has very good faculty and environment for students.
The placement and job opportunities are amazing, even being a non tech University.
It's vibrant campus with 24 hour library facilities.

Dislikes

Too many protests and political parties which sometimes create chaos.
Mismanagement of crowd during feat and cultural program
Poor building and infrastructure sometimes create problems

3rd year students are eligible for placement. Top companies are BCG, McKinsey, Bank of America, Deloitte, etc. with 36.5 LPA highest package. 6.5 LPA is the median CTC package. My plan is to pursue an MBA after getting a degree.

Overall Active college, society of this college are active.
Kirori mal College provide good infrastructure
Principal and teachers are interactive in nature

Dislikes

The Placement rate of this college is low
Classes in this college should be at regular mode
Sports equipment should be increased in this college

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in his or her 3rd year or 6th semester. KMC provides a 600000 average and 1500000 maximum package. Samsung, Dairy Milk, campus, and much more are the companies that came to college. Approx 8-9 percent of the students get placement every year. I want to attain my MA degree after my BA.

KMC- A home away from home.

Likes

My Department, Department of Geography is great including the infrastructure and the professors. The diversity and ratio of my department is also remarkable. If someone has a passion for Geography like me, KMC is the best place for him/her.
Societies, there are a lot of societies almost for everything so that a student can indulge in co-curricular activities.
KMC Hostel, KMC provides an affordable living conditions with great facilities.

Dislikes

No proper Auditorium. KMC doesn't have a big proper Auditorium, it conducts it's seminars in either Acadmic Auditorium or Seminar Hall.
Not a proper Cricket Ground, KMC has a proper Football ground but not a proper Cricket Ground.
Not a great Canteen, the items in Canteen as very minimum that too not very tasty.

I chose this course as I was most interested in Geography as I was from an Arts background. So, for me B.A. (Hons.) Geography was my only course to pursue. As I had heard KMC has one of the finest Geography Departments in India and it's in the North Campus as well with a NIRF ranking of 9. It was easy for me to finalize KMC as my dream college. The faculty is highly qualified and our department classes are also very nice with AC! All the professors are very approachable and make studying geography easy and comfortable. The student ratio is also almost equal-equal. Exams and tests are conducted regularly with a good difficulty level but the professors teach us in a manner that we are able to solve any test paper if we have attended the classes obviously.

Review of Kirori Mal College

Likes

There is not any environment of ragging in Kirori Mal College.
There is a very good library with good reading halls with wifi connectivity.
There is common room for both Boys and Girls.

Dislikes

Not all teachers are good in their respective field of teaching.
Interaction of teachers with the students is less i.e. not more.
ACs don't get operated in all the classrooms of the college.

Placement Experience:

Students usually get placements after or in their final year of UG/PG programme. Percentage of students getting placements varies from programme to programme. Highest and average package as per company and profiles offered also varies from programme to programme.

Likes

I like my college very much. The diversity is good in the college.
The library is very good and we also get societies to become social in our life.
We get to meet new people and the professors are very helping.

Dislikes

The college campus is not very big. There are only two main buildings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is good. You can easily understand the course if you study for 2 hours a day. The faculties of our college are very good. They are all Ph.D. Exams are held every semester and practical exams are held before the semester exams.

Our college provides internships as well as job opportunities Its average placement is 8 lakh and it provides internships of 5500 per month for 3-4 months. If we do not get placement then our course helps in providing jobs.

All about Kirori Mal College

Likes

The thing that I like in the college is college hostel. I feel very lucky now that I got it. The food of the hostel is great
Teaching staff of college is also great.
There are many societies in college. You can join any society based on your interest.

Dislikes

The topmost thing I feel I didn't like is there is no cricket pitch in our college.
I also didn't like the water of the college as it contains chlorine.
And one more thing that I didn't like is we can't use lift in the college. The lift is only available for teachers and PWD students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interrupted in Mathematics form my primary classes that's why I opt for mathematics hons. We have a very good faculty and student ratio here having 1 teacher for 5 students. All the faculties are PhD holder and they teach in a very good way. We have 2 samester exam in a year and it is not quite difficult to pass.
