Kirori Mal College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students are eligible from 5th semester to get placements, they are eligible for interview from 3rd years. So many companies visited to our college. There are companies from different tiers like Tier 1, 2, 3. Name of the few companies are ICCI Bank, Deshaw, Bain, HDFC Bank, Nation with Namo etc. Packages are like 22 lakhs per annum, 12 lakhs per annum it depends on the student's profile and interview.

Every year there are a lot of companies that Hire students for different positions according to their interests and skill. From 3rd year mean from the 5th semester the placement started. Now I am in 2nd year so I don't know too much about companies' name and their packages. My plan for my future is that want a placement with a good CTC from college.

I chose this course as I want to postgraduate in chemistry and apply for a doctorate in later life. The college faculty is very helpful. The exams are conducted after 4 months after starting the semester and the teachers are sometimes not able to complete the course for students which is a major drawback. But one can pass the semester easily.

This course is oriented towards the industrial application of chemistry and it has highly qualified and experienced faculty members. Many have done their doctorate from top foreign universities. Examinations are on a semester basis which is easier to pass by attending class on regular basis only.

Actually, I am passionate about chemistry during my school, I Feel this subject is due to our school teacher, And I opted for this course particularly Kirori mal college because of its highly qualified faculties and highly maintained Laboratories. Even many of the faculty members of our department are Fellow of the research chemical Society London (FRS). And their research journal published in reputed Page like the American Chemical Society, researchgate.net etc. we have a 20: 144 faculty-student ratio. The teaching process is quite easy Professors solve students' problems by taking extra classes and they listen to student issues also if you want to do research then they appreciate doing that. Before the semester exams, the internal exam was taken and if you learn properly then you can easily pass both the examination. I think it is very easy to pass out semester exams because of the not difficult syllabus.

I am studying BA hons political science and my college faculty is one of the best in India. The quality of teaching is also very good and the teachers are also open-minded and the facilities are improving day by day.

I chose the course because I have an interest in social sciences subjects so I wanted to do further studies in that. There is a large number of students and the faculty is very good at providing accurate and informative knowledge to students. Their teaching method is very comprehensive for students. Every six months, term exams have been conducted, and if a student studies for the exam. It was not at all difficult to pass.

Mostly in the 5th and 6th semesters students are eligible for campus placements. companies like Flipkart, obroy hotels, byjus, arnest and young, Amazon, McDonald's, Google, etc are visited and provided job offers. I don't have a perfect idea about the highest package offered by the company but a student from my course got a 17 lakh package from Google.

I chose this course because by opting for it I can do a thorough study about the two disciplines which I was asked to opt for during the admission. The number of students in my course is quite high. The staff of teachers is quite helpful and well qualified also. The exams take place semester-wise.

From the 5th semester itself, students start sitting for placements. I am not that aware of which companies visited the college campus but one can surely get a detailed report from the college website. There everything like the highest package, average package, companies visited, etc. is mentioned. The percentage of placements are higher in science subjects and economics in comparison to humanities subject. Moreover, humanities students rarely sit for placement as most of them are Civil Services Aspirants. I too am a Civil Services Aspirant.
