The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

Pros and cros of ramjas college if you want to come then welcome

What i liked about most is that as i belongs from the north east part of India and ours language is quite different from this and also our accent but i haven't meet so far who is disrespecting instead they normally corrected me and I loved it
so much to explore and so much of exposure and the infrastructure is so good
I'm engaging in different fields and i can learn about everything and the faculties are very kind and friendly i didn't expected

Dislikes

I dislike most about the college is that overhyped everything
My college have only few hostel seats for girls
I hate the politics of my college so much nonsense and my college doesn't give any placement 😭

Course Curriculum Overview:

As a botany student i get to know more about the plants and in practical they took us to the field and named every plants around it.there is one main exam which is semester exam and there's no mid semester exams instead we have internal.

The core of our college

Likes

Mainly the library with lots of book that must read if we live and also the floors with air conditioner in both the floorand the respect they gave to the place.
It also have good and well maintained labs for every particular subject and all the resources are available to increase our creativity and help us to have more idea about the subject.
Apart from sport they also have good ground and well maintained pitch for football as well as badminton etc and helps in physical strength for the students and help they to be more lovable to the college

Dislikes

The fest they conduct are most likely connected to propaga And other negative ideas that can alter students mind.
The security is a weak part in our college. They dont really have great security work like hindu or st stephens.
The auditorium size was low compared to the students that study there. The hall cant afford that must students in that college and this is one of the valid negatives in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course mainly contains chemistry,botany and zoology. It also requires the lab for each and particular subject and our college has well maintained the proper and good hygiene that lab always needed. Apart from this we also have ge, vac, aec these also help us ti have more idea about other subjects apart from the core subjects. Ge and aec can also enhace our language ability and help more and more to know other languages and have proper sense on our mother language as well. Whereas vac help us to create more and more to our technical and political aspect according to our intrest. If we need technical subjects are available for our help and also the same to political ideas about our nation. All college must implement the same aspect that we follow i guess. Interms of our availability of resources to our curriculum that hepls students to have much more better knowledge about world and about our subjects

Lots of apportunity to learn new things.
Teachers are very helpful and guide you very well

Dislikes

The protest must often go on in the colleges
Library must me improve it is to old need to some new books
The lab are not too good need to improve little bit

I want to learn about technical things that why I join this course in this I can learn all the technical things related to the electronics devices. They need to remove AEC course which is waste of time for us if we want to Excel in technical fields.

Me and My College Life

Likes

Infrastructure is pretty cool Pollution free environment as there are various trees are grownva
Sports complex is also good providing gym facilities without any charges
Engagement of faculty with students is also nice

Dislikes

AC is not found in classrooms in summer it's hard for us to take classes
Proper classes are not taken by the professors as per schedule

This course helps me to get experience in accounting field and Delhi University follows the New Education Policy in which we have to study 3 additional subjects which can be related to sports, tech, and digital marketing which helps in facing challenges in real world. So, because of these reasons I have chosen to study in this College.

In my view ramjas College is overall all good

Likes

Library is too best bcz the environment of library is reserved
Playground is beet all facilities are provided to the students
All school teachers are very supportive and do encourage to all the students

Dislikes

Fest in this college are not too good as we want
Area of playground is not more it ia average
Some staff of teachers are not attentive

Ramjas a lifetime experience

Likes

Campus location is in heart of north Delhi
It falls under university of Delhi which is prestigious on university list
The curriculum and pedagogy is amazing, and professors are highly intelligent

Dislikes

NoPlacement were provided or career guide was given
There is very few seats in hotel and it’s highly competitive
More and more career seminar and real based teaching can be done.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is lit outdated and it's basically theory based things to do with it. The books are pretty old printed. The teaching can be better as real life experience could be inserted. The exams are held twice in a year

Ramjas College an complete overview

Likes

Professor are very kind and helpful, they teach every concept well
very big campus with all facilities compared to other north campus colleges
Spacious classroom equipped with all required facilties like projector, interactive board etc.

Dislikes

Theres a lot of fights going on inside campus due to student politics
Canteen is very poorly maintained and lacks basic hygiene
College lacks proper equipment for chemistry lab and existing equipment are either very old or broken

Placement Experience:

students usually become eligible for placements after 4th semester. One has to maintain atleast 6 cgpa with no backlogs. various companies such as delloite, goldman sachs, jp morgan,asian paints, mamaearth, bajaj capital,indigo, tata power visit the campus. last year , around 120 offers were made from 110 companies and average package standing at 7.4 lpa and the highest package was 23.5 lpa. Most of the students seating for placements gets placed, but for batch of 2024 didnt go well, due to market condition.

The department is really good for those who wants to pursue physics as their career

Likes

Labs were equipped with high class equipments and were efficient and the classrooms had ample space to accomodate the batch of 250 students
Teachers are renowned and many of them did research rom top universities of the world and country as well
Summer internships were also available in top universities and labs of the country alongwith tie ups with universities in Germany .

Dislikes

Batch size was big with optional courses given on the basis of merit
Placement opportunities were limited in no.
No overall fest and other activities we can enrolll to apart from exhibitions and conferences

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placement opportunity from the department but a student can enrol in du student placement cell and can avail some opportunities in various comapnies thats visit du. Students in my course generally go for research by giving CSIR-NET exam

Internships are offered from the first year of college. Students can sit for placements from the 5th semester. Recruiters such as D.E. Shaw & Co., PwC, EY, Deloitte, Accenture, etc. are a part of the placement process.

A practical review of Ramjas College

Likes

College campus is pretty large ,including a large football field and basketball court
Faculties are pretty much experienced ,some are friendly whereas some are not
Location of the college is great. You get access to all reputed colleges at one place

Dislikes

Classes in the second year are pretty hectic as they start in the morning and continue till evening
Horrible place in summer as Ac is not there in any classes
Some teachers are very rude . They always try to cut your internal marks here and there

Placement Experience:

Placement is not there for everyone. Very limited number of people got placed in the college. Most of the job profiles offered are for sales. Average package is around 6 LPA. Most students plan for their masters after doing undergraduation from here
