The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

The college Infrastructure is quite good and provide all the essentials.

Dislikes

The campus should be renovated as it's a very old college.

Placement Experience:

The placement is given to students from 5th sem onwards. The avg package is 6.4lpa and a no. Of company visits the campus. The major roles they offer are of finance, marketing and sales. Major ratio of students go for higher education so the no. Of students getting placed is quite low.

I like the sports complex, fest, societies club
I like the greenery and the gardens and lawns
I like the faculty members as they are experienced

Dislikes

I dislike the canteen menu, as it holds very limited option also the space is too small
I don't like the auditorium and the library it's just too small
I dislike when people turn out to be too politics

Course Curriculum Overview:

To be honest ,iwasnt sure for this course but i have keen interest in astrobiology and neuroscience or bioinformatics.i think professors here should more focus on experimental based studies with some current data ,they should review their strategy,they should involve some camputer tools for learning.the frequency of exam is good but I think there should be some oral tests rather than written as we are already sucking by making practicals.

My course is Bsc physical science with electronics in my course theit are three core subject first one is mathematics second is physics and third one is electronic i like the subject combination after this course i am eligible for master in mathematics or physics or electronics

Delhi University through my eyes.

Likes

First the teaching factualty is so good. Teachers of my department have a thorough knowledge or their subject and are quite serious about the students performance in academics.
The societies which our college offers which helps us to enhance our personality and to continue our interest. We learn how to balance our academic life with it. The option to be a member of multiple society is fab as it helps us to explore new field
The environment and infrastructure of the campus is very nice and friendly. We can enjoy our own company as well as in groups. Greenery is maintained all over and it looks as a student area for sure which is the best part about it.

Dislikes

I think the fees is quite more. It should be less because DU is not a private university.
The limited no. of seats in hostel. Also there are various colleges in north campus which don't have a hostel because of which students have to live in unaffordable pgs
Even if the hostel seats are there, the water supply and electricity supply is not proper and fees is too high.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus sometimes is abit tough especially in Hons courses. We are given so much to cover in such less time also we have to manage our internals and project with that which is at times not easy and becomes very disturbing.

My experience about my college

Likes

The placement cell of Ramjas College works hard to provide good placement opportunities for its students. Ramjas College also provides scholarships to students.
Faculty: The college has a total number of 14 departments, including 99 teaching faculty staff. All the professors are highly qualified and experienced teachers. Most of the teaching staff are Ph.D. holders.
Canteen was good and affordable, cultural and fest celebration amaze organised, , no ragging in college by any senior, all faculty are very supportive for students.

Dislikes

Office work very slow, , sports facilities was not up to the mark.
Principal interaction with students very less.
Canteen lunch affordable but no tastiest and quality .

Placement Experience:

Campus placement was good average package 6,7 lakh , minimum package 3 lakh , maximum package 10 lakh and 1,2 company who provide 20 lakh package, so campus placement was so good , company like Deloitte, ey, crowe, etc.

Ramjas college-beauty in itself

Likes

diversity-the college offers,different students from different backgrounds
variety of societies in the college from dance society to placement society,we have all
extracurricular activities like there is regular sports activities held in the college

Dislikes

the college lacks in providing ac in the classrooms
odd timing of university exams in the most extreme seasons both summers and winters

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is nice it represents all the fields of study be it history, political ,psychology. Overall it is general in nature and even focuses on different literature like american, indian, sanskrit, sangam etc. It is not so difficult but for good marks you have to focus a little in the classes. I believe there should be writing workshops and speaking workshops regularly in the college. the curriculum helps in critical analysis and logical thinking. it offers better communication skills.

Ramjas college: Diversity and inclusion

Likes

The faculty for political science in Ramjas college is really good.
The crowd have a good mixture of different culture and state students.
College do organise fests and different programs from time to time.

Dislikes

The classrooms are not air-conditioned, which becomes problematic during the summer months.
The food quality in the college canteen is often not good, and in need of significant improvement.
Ramjas college provides many seats per course which makes the class size large and students face many difficulties with this much big size class.

The course is divided comprehensively in 6 semesters and each semester covers the most crucial topics as per the need of domain. Political science honours facility in Ramjas college comparatively emphasis on the syllabus requirements.

Ramjas College - A walk through

As Ramjas College is one of the prestigious College which comes under University of Delhi.
The annual fests and other society fests along with the major seasonal festivals are celebrated well in the campus
The well maintained infrastructure is one of the other attractions of the campus

Dislikes

One thing i wish to be improved is the Canteen facility where students can get more options including non-veg

Placement Experience:

Students can appear for the final placements from 3rd year onwards. There are somewhere around 100 companies coming to campus for placements and roles offered are around 120. The highest CTC will range up to 21 LPA and the average stands around 7.4 LPA. There are different roles offered around finance, marketing, sales and, analyst roles

Ramjas through an Alumni's lens

The thing I loved the most about Ramjas was it's campus. Lush green lawns, smooth walkways with parallel plantation of the trees and the magical red brick walls, the DU signature. Campus had two separate sports ground and 4 huge lawns.
College Societies is a special attraction of Ramjas College. There are 10+ societies ranging from dance (western and classical), music (western and classical), Art, Dramatics, Debate (Hindi and english), Literary (english and hindi) etc.
Faculties and non-teaching staff were very helpful and highly approachable. Professors were very giving and generous towards each student. They made us feel valued and guided us through our life choices.

Dislikes

I disliked the leniency of the guards deployed at the college's main gate. They weren't as rigid about the ID cards as of other fellow North Campus colleges. This behaviour however helped us on many days but also created ruckus on some.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course I choose to pursue was B.Sc in Life Science. I chose to pursue my Bachelor's in Life Science because it was a Program course. The benefit of pursuing a program course over an honours courese is that it gives you more options and opportunities to explore after your graduation is done. You get a chance to find your true calling. My core subjects were Zoology, Botany and Chemistry. Besides that we have to select an extra subject (AECC or SEC) of our choice. My initial AECC were EVS and English in the 1st and 2nd semester respectively. My SEC subjects were Biofertilisers (3rd sem), Sericulture (4th sem), Pharmaceutical Chemistry (5th sem), and Intellectual Property Rights (6th sem). The course design was highly comprehensive. The syllabus was designed inclusively to have all the necessary units which it takes to build a life science graduate who is well versed with a little bit of everything.

A college with dreams.

Likes

Ramjas has best auditorium and great infrastructure.
It has a big library with many books for students.
The teachers are really good of ramjas whenever students are having doubts they clear their doubt immediately.

Placement Experience:

In third year and last semester students are eligible for placement. The highest package was 7 lakh as per my knowledge. Student must have 65% in all semester exam to get the placement. After getting degree I will be appearing for CUET PG exam.
