The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

College for the achievers.

Likes

The thing that i like about the college is the punctuality of the whole system. The exams are on time, there are no delays in the start of the classes too.
Another thing i like about the college is the use of the technology for the study purposes.

Dislikes

There isn't particularly anything i would say i disagree about the college.

Placement Experience:

The college provides for the placements as well. The meritorious students have great chance to get the placement at the end of their course. The package depends on the merit one has got. The packages vary from 50 lpa to even 5 lpa and some get even more. I plan to continue studies after this course.

It's all about my college life

Likes

I like the my College 's infrastructure there is proper labs , class rooms , auditorium, lawns , amphitheatre, wide lawns , sports complex, Gym
I like the environment . There is greenery everywhere. There is fresh air , with proper water supply and wide classroom.And library is fully equipped with Ac .and there is calm environment to study properly.
I like the faculty how they behave, respond to our queries .And there is mantor mantee programs where professor's asked students about there any type of queries like if any in their personal life.

Dislikes

There is no proper network connection in the campus
There is no proper wifi and students faces issue
Canteen area there is not much sufficient infra of the canteen

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose zoology hons because I have interest in Animals and I curious about to study about animals . So that's why I choose Zoology. And yeah after adopting this course, it increases my knowledge about Animals surely. And one suggestion is there must b some practical sessions about to know animal's anatomy so that a student can get it better.

Good sports and building infrastructure.Nurture the future of country tremendously.
Very supportive and knowledgeable faculty members
Ramjas is situated in North campus provide an atmosphere to interact with the Students of other colleges

Dislikes

Political engagement of the students in the DUSU election
In my college time library was not so good.
Computer lab was also not upgraded. It might have changed in last year.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are available for the many of the courses. But usually the courses like mathematics is not considered for the placement or even the students are also not interested for the same. Placement cell are there.

College life : a learning pase

Likes

Maths department was one of the best department of DU
Societies and different cells were present for exposure.
Good building and infrastructure was available

Dislikes

Political involvement was very high in the college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was very much inclined to mathematics that's why i chose mathematics. The curriculum of mathematics is very helpful in competitive exams like IIT JAM. Admitted in the covid time i was not fully experienced the college but still it was great.

I like the availability of variety of societies in our college and the determination of the societies towards their goals. They provide opportunities for overall development of a student while excelling in a particular area.
The infrastructure of the college is totally great! It has two buildings ~ old & new, spacious and airy classrooms, a canteen, a large auditorium, an amphitheater, playgrounds, conference hall, a library fully AC, various computer, science labs etc
Teaching methodology is great as it is understandable, practical as well as inclusive. We have interactive classes. We learn through class teaching, assignments, presentations, doubt solving, tests, practical exams etc so that we are well prepared.

Dislikes

I wish there was availability of more optional subjects in AEC ( Ability Enhancement Course) and VAC ( Value Addition Courses).

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for sitting in Campus placements after completion of Sem 4 exams & can join after graduating. Average package: 7.4 LPA (approx) Highest package: 21 LPA (approx) as per Placement Cell data. Companies such as Deloitte, Wipro, EY, KPMG, Crowe, Morgan Stanley, De shaw & Co, Walmart, PWC, Accenture, Mother Dairy etc took place in the most recent placement drive of our college. If no campus placement is offered, one can go for off campus placements and approach people and companies through LinkedIn. They may also go for Higher Education such as MCom, MBA or any professional courses such as CA, CPA, CFA, FRM etc. I feel Placement Cell of Ramjas College puts its best foot forward in order to bring the best companies on campus, assisting students throughout the process, and smooth onboarding in companies. The efforts of each and every member of the cell are commendable.

Ramjas- My whole heart

Likes

If I talk about the overall experience it was very good like the vibe of ramjas hits different.
If I talk about the faculty it was literally good and appreciable. Specially chemistry department is good and teachers are literally best and helpful.
Also apart from academics you can join many societies according to your interest like dance music etc.

Dislikes

If I talk about the things I don't like about ramjas is about the placement cell like I don't think there are many students who got actually placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very good like if I talk about my course it was chemistry honours so the way classes was scheduled very nicely along with labs any they try to give even a day off to us in week apart from sunday so that we can manage everything . If I talk about the timing it was 8:30 in the morning so it was a little bit difficult for us in winter mornings but there is no scheduled time for lunch breaks.

RAMJAS UNPLUGGED: Beyond the red walls

The lab facilities were great. There were several societies like the fine arts society
The greenery, the gardens from ecolawns to field everything is eye soothing.
The teachers gave proper attention to every student...guided us through all assignments, the field trips were very interesting

Dislikes

The lab assistants do not easily repair or replace the equipments or instruments that are broken, teachers are not very tech savy especially t
The placement cell provide less opportunities for the bsc students. The auditorium is a bit congested and cannot accommodate more than 500 peopl

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements in the 2nd year of the 3 year course. There are no specific placements for my course. People usually pursue a master's degree and further PhD. You can also do a B.ed after masters and be qualified to teach in schools or we can give exams such as csir-net, net jrf for obtaining professorship

Ramjas college - a detailed overview

Likes

The campus of ramjas is good. We have a lot of facilities including hostels for both boys and girls, sports complex, gym, etc.
Loaction- it is located in north campus which makes it accessible for students to connect with people of other colleges

Dislikes

The infrastructure is kind of old (almost of every DU college) and the buildings are not furnished but authorities are working on it
The cafeteria facilities in ramjas are worst, the canteen is highly unhygienic and there is no other option where we can have food in the college area.

Placement Experience:

Only 6th semester students are eligible to sit for placement but internships are offered for all the students. Big 4 also come for the Campus placements and some other companies too. A lot of students go for campus placements after their 3 year degree.

Prestigious college , providing amazing opportunities

The college holds a very prestigious image in the circuit and has been established around 107 years ago , established by Leaders like Mahatama Gandhi and B.R Ambedkar. The college has a beautiful campus and renowned faculties .
The labs are well equipped , well maintained and the supporting staff is well trained.
The greenery of the campus making it an eco friendly campus , adorned by trees and plantations all over makes it soothing and peaceful.

Dislikes

The canteen serves average food , according to the value for money. The menu can be extended and well prepared
Internship opporunities can be enhanced further for proper exposure to the student.

Placement Experience:

The college has a specific department which looks after the placement and internship related ventures for the students. The placement cell is basically run by students and teachers staff to provide placements to the students who wish to join. A bunch of companies participate in the placement process such as Redseer , Deloitte , KPMG etc. The placement process takes place from the 5th semester onwards. The average package accounts for upto 3 lacs per annum , whereas the highest package can reach upto 8 to 9 Lacs per annum. In the life science course students generally opt for higher studies and go for research of educational fields

Ramjasite world

In ramjas college our chemistry faculty professors are good.
And the environment of ramjas college and friends I got there.

Dislikes

Actually I am from other state so little bit I have little accent issue.
Societies of ramjas college I didn't like that much.
The rush in canteen and students after eating they don't throw paper plates in dust bin.

I have already interest in chemistry so I chose and the curriculum of ramjas college is good according to me and professors teaching methods but there are few professors I don't like teaching methods of them and if I talk about exams the difficulty level is Moderate and according to syllabus
