The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

Dream college

Likes

In terms of study perspective it’s good college
College environment is good between students and teachers
Sports complex is so nice there we love to play football

Dislikes

Canteen is poor very unhygienic food available
Students help window so not so good sometimes they didn’t treat students well
Only Account teacher is not good in our batch

Placement Experience:

Our college college is providing so many placements opportunities to the students. And many of my classmates get it. But I didn't apply for placement because i have to do preparation for competitive exams.

College life in North campus

Likes

I liked the infrastructure of my college the ground, canteen , gym facility.
The crowd and diversity north campus hold is commendable.You gain a lot about different regions and culture.
The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.

Dislikes

The workload is sometimes students were not able to cope up with the stress of academics.
The rat race and competition is sometimes affects Students mental health too.
Last moment class cancellation as students travel from long distances and then they suddenly got the message that class is cancel is very wrong . It just wasted the students efforts and their travel expense.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to pursue political science from my middle school. And Du offers very effective curriculum for this course. The course prepares individual who wants to appear for government services and diplomats too.

The infrastructure could be better. The work is really slow
The administration shows laziness like any government institution
Faculties are changed owing to their political views and ideas

Placement Experience:

Not really sure. I don't have anyone who sat for placements. Kindly give an option to just by-pass this. I have to write anything just to fill this section. I am in second semester and do not know much about the reality of placements.

Being At Ramjas

Infrastructure: Ramjas has very large and spacious infrastructure with all the facilities present at its grand level.
North Campus Location: Ramjas is centrally located in North campus surrounded by great institutions like SRCC, Stephens, Hindu, FMS, CLC, DSE etc
Lenient Attendance Policy: Ramjas is famous for its lenient attendance policy. On paper policy is always bypassed here when it comes to attendance.

Dislikes

Poor Faculty: The faculty is average and unsatisfactory most of the professors serving poor teaching.
Basic Facilities: Even though Ramjas is large, it lacks certain very basic facilities like enough drinking water outlets, projector in class etc
Average Crowd: the crowd of Ramjas is very average consisting of people from tier 3 or villages coming here.

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th Sem become eligible for campus placement. Companies from various domains like Finance, HR, Marketing, Media and Research visit the campus. Some of the prominent recruiters are DE Shaw, Deloitte, Pwc, Flipkart, Zomato, Byjus, Ditto insurance, Grant Thronton, Tata Power, Godrej Properties etc. My plan is to get placed with high packages after my degree.

Embracing the unknown a journey of Ramjas college

Likes

Societies like NSSS, Enactus, Dance and Music, and many more are there to keep us involved in our favourite activities.
The crowd, as seen in many du colleges, that people from different backgrounds are present, which is quite experiencing.

Dislikes

Politics: during my initial days, it was quite difficult to adjust as most of the colleges in Dusu are involved in Dusu elections.
The canteen is somewhat okay, but not as good as the other colleges on the North Campus. Anyway, our fee structure is far better than there.

Placement Experience:

I don't have much idea about the placement of ramjas, as I personally don't want to sit for the placement. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and DE Shaw are among the top recruiters. The highest package recorded was 22 lacs I guess not confirmed. After getting the degree, I will be focusing on government exams like CDS and all.

Ramjas College Insights

The infrastructure of ramjas is really dynamic, it's the only college which has 5 floors high. College is really beautiful and photogenic
Faculty of my course is great, teachers are amazing and really helping also the lab facilities ars great and very easy to access
I must say canteen is thd most beneficial part of my college. The food is obviously yummy and on top that its so cheap and affordable. Literally dosa is just for 40 and spring roll is just for 10 rupees.

Dislikes

College is politically very very active creating disturbance and affecting the reputation of our college. The crowd is also not necessarily great.
Also i didn't find the fest of my college upto the mark, they are overhyped and ramjas has open entry for almost everyone which causes ruckus and not safe for girls obviously

Placement Experience:

5th or 6th semester students are available for campus placements. I am in first year so i really have no idea about the companies that our college brings in. Averags package as i told you is 5L/year. Not a lot students gets placed because obviously the course ia not placement type. My plans aftwe getting this degree is to do msc in biology.

Ramjas is Awesome

Ramjas College is quite neat and clean and there is 24X7 security to make sure that no outsiders enter the college
Clean water, clean washrooms and clean environment is what one will find at Ramjas College even during vacations
Lectures are always on time like students can be late but faculties are always seen waiting outside the class for their lectures 5-10 minutes before

Dislikes

Food served at canteen is below par and therefore for our means we mostly search for options outside the college

Placement Experience:

Ramjas is known for incredible placements and our department is one of the top branches of colleges where students get placed. Around 70% students get place in companies like Honeywell, Happiest Mind, HP and others with an in-hand salary of 30-35k per month.

college life ( an amazing chapter of my life)

I really like the diverse crowd of the college, in one corner you see one thing and on the other a totally diff Spectrum, ramjas is really a college with good crowd .
The campus of ramjas college is ready huge, that’s one plus point cos you always gets a free spot somewhere to sit with your friends
The faculty is really nice supportive and up to the mark of their name, the curriculum is well built for us to be ready for placements which happens at the end of your 5 the sem

Dislikes

The one thing I disliked is the less availability of shaded areas or top covered areas , which are a must in delhi summer
The security at the gate should be more strict and alert
New franchise of canteen should be open of sone well known brands

Placement Experience:

From 5 sem students are eligible for campus placements , the companies which visits are delloitte, kpmg and etc as per my knowledge the highest package was 19.5 LPA, the percentage of students getting placements is kinda low acc to me , my plan is to go for masters

Ramjas from my eyes

It was indeed a good journey at Ramjas. As I approach to the end of my college life I would like to share the best thing about Ramjas is its beauty. It’s walls, main building , lawns and trees picturise it so beautifully.
The another thing I liked about ramjas is the crowd. It has plathora of different individuals from different states.
The teaching staff of Ramjas is also highly educated and supportive.

Dislikes

Besides being educated teachers, some teachers(1/5) are not so welcoming and does not teach up to the mark
The infrastructure mainly I would say. It has a very bad canteen and washroom sucks.
Not many activities are performed in ramjas.

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester, students become eligible to be the part of placements. De show, Deloitte, Red Sree are some companies which visited our college this year.the highest package is 24 lakhs and average must be 6 lakhs. I'm preparing for CAT and GMAT. I'll be pursuing MBA after my college.

DU life : worth it

the course curriculum is up to the par and relevant with the degree. the subjects are in accordance with the skills and knowledge required in the current world scenario. Overall the frequency and difficulty of exams is decent as well.
