The faculty is very knowledgeable and enhances individuals personality and growth they tried really there best to reach out the best potential of students.
The institution not only offers competitive tuition fees but also provides opportunities for scholarships, financial assistance, and campus jobs, ensuring affordability while promoting academic excellence.
I am a first-year student i don't have much knowledge about the placements but according to the website the average placement is 7,20,000 which quite good for a beginner, the college provides many internship opportunities as well.

Dislikes

Actually fee i decent but i guess scholarship and financial assistance facilities should be given but it's very difficult to avail here.
The college canteen is very bad . food tastes like hell
Student teacher ratio is also bad and not upto the mark

Ramjas could be better

Likes

The boys to girls ratio is also very nice
Infrastructure is also very good and strong

Dislikes

Crowd is a bit disappointing and a bit weird
Management is also quite lethargic and unresponsive
Faculty is also lethargic and uninterested

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the curriculum is highly irrelevant and outdated because the accounting being taught now can be handled by artificial intelligence and the subjects taught are to be even updated and the teaching methods are also boring

Autentic Review_ Ramjas College

Likes

The infrastructure i better as compared to most DU colleges.
It has one of the best societies of the university
It is a part of the north campus which is quite prestigious.

Dislikes

The canteen is not nice , the food is okayish
Their is no amul, nescafe or any other booth available in the college
The lift usually malfunction causing a hussle to reach classes on time

Placement Experience:

The placements are decent we have companies like DE Shaw, Deloitte and others visiting campus. the average package is 7.8 LPA and the highest is 24 LPA though students do apply for off campus placements as well for higher payout

No strict attendance criteria as of now hence able to explore more opportunities
Availability of basketball court and badminton court
Girls to boys ratio is roughly 40:60 in my course

Dislikes

Absence of nescafe or amul or any other outlet inside the campus
No air conditioners in class room and lack of comfortable benches in some rooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is informative but involves a lot of theory. This makes the course less interesting and encourages more wrote-learning. I would say 60% of our curriculum is relevant to further academic pursuits but lacks preparing the students to handle real world situations. The teaching could be more interactive with more projects involved

A better experience than expected at ramjas college

Likes

I really liked the Society culture of ramjas college
I also liked the availability of sports equipment and two grounds
Ample space is available to park outside the college

Dislikes

Politically charged atmosphere during election season
Certain professors are really egotistical and can be irrational
Out dated computer labs and lack of air conditioning

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for the placements in the 5th semester , companies like De Shaw , Deloitte , Fractal Analytics Ey visit the campus to offer placements. 120 offers were made this year highest package is 24 lakh per annum and average is 7.5 lakh per annum 109 recruiters were present 165 students got placed . My plans are to pursue higher education after the degree

The society culture here is too nice and good.
Some faculties encourage to participate in ECAs
There are some societies where the people are too good

Dislikes

The faculties doesn’t give internal marks even after winning stuff for college
No wifi or internet in college is available
Has a very bad canteen and drinking water system

Placement Experience:

People become eligible for placements after 4th semester ends. And the PCell of the college is the biggest piece of dog shit because they cannot get any company in and even the chiefs of the PCell are not at all refined people.

Ramjas is an underrated college

Likes

The overall batch crowd for commerce and economics courses is brilliant, truly the smartest minds of the country.
The faculty put in sincere efforts to deliver our course and take regular tests and assignments

Dislikes

The infrastructure is relatively poor and needs improvement

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is practically routed in real world finance applications. We have also started doing practical's on excel which improve our technical knowledge. We also read several case studies which help understand the practical implementation of theories in the context of modern business

I liked the friendly environment in my college like the people are really helpful.
There are a lot of good societies in college for networking and skill building.
Teachers are very good and helpful also in most of the courses.

Dislikes

Internet connection isn't available in most of the places over campus.
It's very politically inclined , like the election days are very frustrating
No stationary shop in college only a printout shop.

Placement Experience:

There is an active placement cell in ramjas College which taps different internships and job opportunities from the college. Average package is around 6,00,000 per annum from our college and placement scene is quite decent, not so much great opportunities but yes good ones.

Ramjas is an old heritage of DU!!

Likes

Our college building has 5 floors and are divided into sections as law, arts and all have seperate corners.
Our college playground top is amazing as it is a top players area where we can dive while playing without concerning for getting injured.
From drama to politics, we can find exposure to whatever our interests are.

Dislikes

Since I was from a small town some students purposely tried to mock me as maximum students are from Delhi and they don't welcome the outsiders the way it should be.

Placements at Ramjas are great but Commerce department and Arts Economics department are the ones which gets the best placements and we have to look for the leftovers. Still more than half studentas pursuing BA were placed from campus last season.

The crowd is really makes, and we can get all type of people from introverts to extrovert which makes it easy to find your group
I really liked the infrastructure of the college, which usually provides a better environment for students
I like the exposure that we get in the college as all the students are topper from their respective

Bad and poor management services by college
Sometimes the crowd is not that good and refined and people creates some issues and less

Placements College, Addison, but not at the same level as to due college like SSC or Hindu, The college has a placement cell that brings the companies mainly from sectors like consulting finance, marketing, research, and IT. Some reputed recruiters include Deloitte, EY KPNG, Wipro, Accenture, and Genpact with average packages arranging from 4 to 6,00,00 per annum while a few students get higher offer, depending on skills and interest internships. Howeverplacements are stronger for commerce and economic students compare to humanities where more student prefer higher studies, UPSC or other exams, even campus placement. Unlimited social internships and networking opportunity is in Delhi. University provides improve employability and many students plan to go for MBA or government exams after graduation.

Faculty Members Were Very Knowlegdable And Approachable. Thier Deep Understanding Of The Subject And The Way They Encouraged Discussions
Campus Life Was Vibrant And The Student Societies Were Very Active. I Got To Participate In Events, Fest And Academic Seminars
The Course Curriculum Was Well Structure And Relevant. It Gave A Solid Foundation In Statistics And Prepared Mefor Pg Studies As Well As For Competitive Exams Like Jam And Iss.

Dislikes

There Was Limited Support From The College Placement Cell For Core Statistics Roles.
The Infrastruture Especially Classroom Maintenance And Washroom Hygiene Could Definitely Be Improved.
There Was A Noticeable Gender Imbalance In The Class With Around 3 Boys For Every 1 Girl.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Bsc Statistics Curriculum At Du Is Well Structured And Great For Students Aiming For Higher Studies Like Jam And Iss. It Covers Core Theoretical Subjects In Depth But Lacks Practical Exposure To Tools Like R Or Python. Exams Are Semester Wise With Internals, And The Difficulty Is Moderate.
