Faculty,our college faculty was very good ,all teacher are very supportive. encourage student to do study with extra curricular activities
Sbsc provides one of the best placements in delhi university with known companies such as deloitte tcs and others
The fee structure for a family who has parents having mid-range salaries is pretty great, compared to private universities, the fee structure is amazing, and there are several scholarship opportunities for students from all courses.

Dislikes

Faculty in truth is not that great they are not making that much effort in teaching us, especially our accounts teacher is awfully bad at teaching.
The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio
Course curriculum was very hard because we have to learn new subjects vac, sec, and aec with my core subjects.

My experience at SBSC

Likes

Good infrastructure. The classes are really good and overall, it is pretty decent.
Good faculty, not just for my course but other courses as well.
The student culture is really since there are many societies and all.

Dislikes

The placement scene isn't good, in my opinion.
Some aspects of the curriculum add unnecessary pressure on students like the attendance issue.
There are no hostels which creates a bad social life, to some degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is really good but perhaps, one of the most difficult courses in DU. Exams happen only at the end of each semester which is good because you have time to do other things. Overall, it's good but perhaps, not so much in terms of placement.

The overall good experience

Likes

The crowd is diverse and it widens your horizon. It will help you in networking.
The main focus is on academics and course curriculum is very strict.
There are more than 40 active club present and one can join as per their interest

Dislikes

The attendance is very strict and is of serious concern

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for placement after the 4th semester examination that is when they go in their final year. The company start visiting after 4th sem itself. And big 4 Companies came for bcom and bcom hons course. There were about 40 companies that took part in placement and visited our college. The highest package offered was about 22 lakhs per annum. And on avg the offers were of 4.5 to 6 lpa. Majority of students get placement unless you have backlog in any semester exams.

The atmosphere is not very unbearable coming from as an introvert.
The faculty here understands the students perspectives on various stuff which helps them
The girls to boys ratio is quite balanced , one can find groups of both the genders accompanying each other

Dislikes

The infrastructure is okaish though it is improving
The administrative staff is very rude and impolite
You cannot enter staff room to talk about anything, does it even make any sense

I choose political science because it caught the intrest in me. The exams can be quite easy if you stufy from the start and the faculty does prepare you for extra world knowledge and exams too . Exams adtwr every 6 months is a good way of keeping check on your studies

Shaheed bhagat singh english honours course and campus review

Likes

Professors were very articulate in the English department. Passionate about the course and seemed to enjoy teaching.
Course was not too expansive. Consice and well put syllabus.

Dislikes

Professors unexpectedly cancelled classes several times.
College campus is quite small with outdated seating.

Placements were sent out and professors only reached out about surveys very proactively. Seems like a lot of chaos happened with the principle. The publicity of the event was on a bigger scale and put the college in a tough spot. Companies did not visit as often but fairs were conducted with several typed of tie ups as well. I did not go in for placements since I was able to get a job myself.

Professors and higher administration of the college is prompt in supporting students in their academics ensuring no hurdles and a smooth experience.
College has a privilege of intellectual and delightful crowd that caters to need of each category of students.
Another thing i liked the most is the heap of societies available as a source of extra curricular activities. Apart from the rot learning that we're infamous for and can act as a stepping stone for prospective career. It has attendance benefits too.

Dislikes

The strictness if maintenance of 66.67% attendance and if you dont comply with that you'll get debarred from sitting in one or two or all papers.
Administration department can sound rude sometimes.
Some professors do sound unqualified as they're unable to deliver as a teacher. Teachers can sound bias sometimes.

Placement Experience:

I never did seek a placement from my college and hence i haven't got enough knowledge about it but based on my rough understanding and after some conversations followings are my observations: 1)Students get eligible in third year. 2)Companies like Deloitte visit in our college and approx 30-40 offers are made. 3)I can give idea about average package only this is around 5 LPA. My plans after graduation is to get involved in taxation.

SBSC: An overview

Our college is in the south Delhi area, it is an elite location. The college infrastructure is far better compared to other du colleges.
Our principal is continuously working on betterment of college infrastructure and the teaching of the college.
Really like the library of college, it has 2 floors, and is air conditioned. We can also borrow books, specially costly text books easily.

Dislikes

The college does not offer some of the sports, and even if it does it's mostly for the ones that are already enrolled in those sports.
The college has a really weird boy to girl ratio. It is 7:1 hence there are very less girls in compared to boys.
There is a very strict attendance criteria which makes it impossible to be involved in extracurricular activities and even internships which are quite essential.

The students become eligible for campus placement from 5th semester if they do not have any active backlogs. Companies like Deloitte, rsm, Zomato etc. have visited and made 70 average offers. The highest package was of 12 lakhs and whereas the average package is of 5 to 6 lakhs. The usual profiles are of audit, hr, operations and sales. The Percentage of people getting college placement is around 35-40 percent. My plan after degree is to get a placement for college and side by side prepare for higher studies.

The things are very systematic and equipped with portal
The erp portal and app makes everything clear
Teachers are very kind and good, they support you in every aspect!

Dislikes

Infrastructure is going to develop but no benefit to us
We only face the construction sites in place of college
There's no boys common room but there's girls common room

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BCom curriculum at DU offers comprehensive and real life exercises like presentation work and assignments which make it even more interesting and fascinating allow students to make more out of it.

Likes

Good infrastructure and vibrant environment in college campus
Good teaching faculty having updated industry level courses booklet for the students

Competition on its peak it will be overwhelming majority students for its future

Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies(SSCBS) is a well-known college for business studies. The college offers various advanced courses such as management studies, cybersecurity, and computer science.

The college offers eight courses related to business management, marketing, and science streams.
