Faculty,our college faculty was very good ,all teacher are very supportive. encourage student to do study with extra curricular activities
Sbsc provides one of the best placements in delhi university with known companies such as deloitte tcs and others
The fee structure for a family who has parents having mid-range salaries is pretty great, compared to private universities, the fee structure is amazing, and there are several scholarship opportunities for students from all courses.

Dislikes

Faculty in truth is not that great they are not making that much effort in teaching us, especially our accounts teacher is awfully bad at teaching.
The class size is quite huge with poor student teacher ratio
Course curriculum was very hard because we have to learn new subjects vac, sec, and aec with my core subjects.

A decent review

Likes

Infrastructure of the college is very good
Cafeteria and canteen area of the college
There is a stationary shop in the college for easy assessibility

Dislikes

Attendance is very mantory so sometimes it becomes hectic
Playground is not available for the students
Construction always goes in the college which is very inconvenient

Course Curriculum Overview:

The courses in our college is reasonable but i don't have a perfect insight of how the price structure fluctuate through the time , but i think ba courses have very reasonable prices for the students coming from a middle class family .

College environment, building, infrastructure, colleagues
Playground, facilities, canteen, fests, understanding teachers

Dislikes

Sometimes water purifiers didnt worked fine.

Placement Experience:

Students were eligible for placements from 5th semester onwards. Average package of the placements were around ?350000 p.a. Almost, 50-60% students were placed at the college placements. My plan after the degree was to join a team of Sales & Marketing.

I like the college life!!!

Likes

College washrooms are cleaner than other DU colleges
College is improving its infrastructure and also making it convenient for the stidents
Some teachers of this college is very good and also helps the students

Dislikes

the attendance criteria is too strict which is not expected
Principal never ever gives the permission for any fest in the college
Also the use of bollywood song in the campus is prohibited

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my particular course that is BCom (hons) it does not provides any choice for the AEC cource in 2nd and 3rd sem, student have to select hindi which is not good at all. Every sem is of approx 4 months, so the frequency of exams is after every 4 months and one has to clear 7 papers in order to pass the sem exam.

Faculty at Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is one of the best faculties among DU colleges. You will get one of the best teachers here those who have mastered their subjects. Most of the teachers have done Ph.D in their respective fields.
At Shaheed Bhagat Singh College you are provided with a large number of courses to choose from various fields. Here you can find the honors courses as well. It also provides you M.Com for your post graduation and various other courses for your resear
Infrastructure wise Shaheed Bhagat Singh College is one the best in DU as it can give close competition to the north campus colleges. The college is still under development progress with the construction of indoor sports ground for the students.

Dislikes

At Shaheed Bhagat Singh College we don’t have hostels for the students.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides a decent amount of placement of annual package ranging from 6-7 lakh. But most of the students don't opt for placement after completing their post graduation 80% of the students apply for their higher education either they would opt for masters in their field or would choose doing MBA or any other masters course.

The campus is pretty good if we compare it with other colleges of du . The campus has greenery which provides a very good and positive environment in the college. There are various places to hangout in our college and the campus in general is good
The seniors are very chill they like to socialize share information about the college they are pretty friendly there is no concept of ragging in sbsc and there are strict actions taken if any such misconduct happens . The seniors guide you and help
There are 40 societies in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College so you can figure out your interest in our college and go with the one which aligns with your career goals the most not only commerce oriented societies but extra curricular societies too

Dislikes

The things which all students dislike the most is the strict attendance policy which is very alien concept is due the principal is way too strict no fest happens here no student life just classes classes classes you'll feel that you came to school
Basic facilities like ground lacks in our college the ground is undergoing construction and there is no alternative ground where students can play so we don't know when we will even have ground to play or library for morning students
There are no fests in this college fest are like the lifeline of Delhi University but our principal is soo strict that no fest happens in our college so student life is missing here we can't even play Bollywood music

Placement Experience:

There are placements in our college for my course I don't know about others but for my course big4 companies like KPMG, ey and Deloitte come to our college to hire students also many other companies too come in our college to hire students throughout the year so . Average package is 5 lakhs highest is 23 . My plans after this degree is to go for mba

Detailed review of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College

Likes

The infrastructure is good. SBSC has the only building is DU which has a round building that's cool.
College societies here are also very active and good for exposure
Professors are also very helpful and have great teaching skills.

Dislikes

There are no major fests in college so that's a dislike I have. And the boys to female ratio is not so good I'd say 45:15
The canteen food is not so good in terms of quality.
There is a compulsory 67.77 percent attendance criteria

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is limited. Only around I'd say 300 students get placed. We are eligavle for placement in our final year. The companies that come are diloite, EY, KPMG, GE Shaw etc many companies come. The highest package that came was 22 lakhs per annum. My plan is to appear for CAT exam after my graduation to further do MBA

Genuine review of fresher of sbsc

Like every course has separate block or building
Growing infrastructure Which is still in construction
College is pretty much affordable and hygienic, and you also got one shop for snacks

Dislikes

Over disciplined faculty Which is not that friendly
College campus is too short Even small than my previous school
No Wi-Fi facilities is provided in the campus and internet signals are too week

Placement Experience:

as I was fresher. I don't know much about placement and job opportunities in college, but I can surely tell that students are too good in studies and has good CGPA above eight are getting place with their efforts and no big companies are hiring students for small companies are hiring and average package like five lakh per annum and the highest of the 11,00,000 Which is good

The best thing i like about this college are its good study environment and its highly qualified professoors

Dislikes

The things i disliked about this college are there limited number of fests and activities organised for the students

Placement Experience:

The placements of this college are really awesome. Many top companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Infosys,etc. About 90% of the students get placed in the placement activities. Our placement cell has a naac rating credited with A (3.35)

Shaheed bhagat singh college, delhi university's best south campus college

Likes

There was zero tolerance policy towards ragging, so seniors and juniors had good relation. All the seniors were very helpful.
Infrastructure was good, proper washrooms, playground
Canteen food is good and very affordable

Dislikes

Classes were not regular, noone attended them regularly
Guards at the entrance are irritating, always ask for id card even if you go out for a minute

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the placements after the 5th semester. There's a dedicated society for placements which enrolls all the student's name and do orientation program and mentor them. The companies which always come are EY, Delloite and they recruit candidates for the packages starting from 4,00,000 p.a to 17,00,000 p.a. other companies also come to recruit on higher packages but they are not mass recruiters. The hughest package during my batch was 32,00,000 for the position of financial analyst in american express and average package wnet to 6,00,000 that year. The students who are interested in getting placements mostly get placed. The students who are not placed, often get updates from the placement cell for new recruitments. After getting the degree people from this college goes to various fields as the college provides the with great exposure. They excel in vatious fields.

good crowd and people are nice to each other
Teachers are supportive and understanding

Dislikes

Has a small campus and is cramped no places to hang out.
Small canteen and only offers veg options.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had chosen this course as I had enjoyed it in school but after coming to college most of the syllabus is only about Indian politics and not so much of world politics which has been a bit disappointing, I'd say Political Science prepares me for real world applications as it really is just about humans and it is beneficial to study this to understand each other.
