The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

UEM Kolkata, A better option for engineering & management.

Likes

Faculties are better here in UEM, They take care of students education,skills and overall welfare.
Placement is good here with highest 72 lakhs and average 5 lakhs.
Here sports and clubs are good.Fests are conducted here both cultural and technical.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not so good as it is in New Town area. It is in total 3 acres area.
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for PG and Own flat,As hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.
Discipline is too strict as in schools we all have.it starts with morning prayer exercise and meditation,it has also strict attendance policy of 75%.

Placements in this university are better. Students become eligible for campus placements after the 6th semester. There are many companies which visit here like uniseven, BMWIL, capital numbers, turbot, byju's, tcs, wipro, etc. The highest package offered was 72 lakhs and the average is 5 lakhs. 93% of students get placed on campus. My plan after getting my degree is to get placed in a good company and then after some time will go for a higher degree which is Mtech.

Placements are great as said before. From the 7th Sem, students start getting Placements. The student even gets offers from more than 7 companies. The highest package is 72lpa and the average is around 9lpa. I would sit for the Placements and side by side would prepare for Masters

Likes

Its rules, environment, curriculum, lab works, teachings and many more facilities.
Fests, clubs, activities, competitions, canteen , cafeteria and library facilities.

Dislikes

Its timings, attendance structure, strict dress code (including shoes), and the exam paper pattern.

Placement Experience:

it provides good campus placements every year. From the end of the 6th semester, the students are eligible for appearing in placements. The college arranges various courses, and mock sessions for GD, PI, and other respective processes for compassing. They also prepare for competitive examinations. Various companies that appeal to recruit students every year, include TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, IBM, Wipro, ZIFO, Accenture, LTI Mindtree, and many other software and IT-based companies. The average to highest package ranges from 3-4 LPA to 15 LPA. The percentage of students placed this year is higher than the previous year, approximately 80-90 % of the students are placed, followed by others opting for higher studies (Mtech), in their respective fields.

Best option for pursuing Btech in Uem Kolkata

Likes

Faculties are experienced and have a good teaching skills.
Classrooms are also good and modern( projector and sound system in every classrooms)
College campus are very good and you have a different path in extra curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

In Btech they provide you placement from 3rd year and campusing from 3rd year . There are many companies visits like TCS, cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, Microsoft etc. the students got placed about 98% student. You can check it in college website and talk it about with seniors if you know any senior. They trained you all but you have to practice it own so that you can crack high package placement.

There is a good teaching method , like audiovisual classes, and handly practical classes, there are huge amounts of instruments or computers so it is very much help full to do a practice in collage .
Faculties are very good and friendly.And their teaching capability is also good ,and students are very play full in manner that's campus life don't remain boring .
Infrastructure is good and rooms are tiles and with Ac so we don't feel the hot ness .And I like the course because the professors are true friendly.

Dislikes

Sometimes somany teachers are held a extra class either after 4.15 pm nor Sunday,Saturday . I don't like it because of it we don't get a long rest .
Every professor give us too much assignments and homework.
Our college start from 9.30am and close 4.15pm .That's Why we can't come back home from college because guards are every where.

Placement Experience:

1) Students from 5th semester onwords become eligible for the campus placements. 2) There are many companies like TCS,COGNIZANT,ACCENTURE,MINDTREE,CAPGEMINI,WIPRO,and so on come in our college and recruita huge no. of students.The percentage of getting placed in a placementis almost 95% ,after the degree. 3) The average salary package offered varies between 5-6 lakhsPA. The maximum salary package offered ranges from 12-15 lakhsPA.And so many students are got offered of 5-6 jobs and they get salary 30-36 lakhsPA . 4) I want to do M.Tech after getting degree.

Online placements were taking place ,and during the lockdown students received job offers from variety of companies ,incuding TCS,Wipro,HCL Technologies ,Accenture ,Capgeminiand others

Students from 5th semester onwards become eligible for campus placements TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, and Redhat are just a few examples of some service-based companies that offer placements to uem kolkata students. The highest package was 72 LPA and the average was 8.8 LPA. Almost 70-80% got placed. After getting the degree I want to be a javascript developer

Many students have been placed in various reputed companies. The university had a dedicated placement cell which helped students with job opportunities. The placement cell also prepares students for interviews. About 99% of students get placed in our courses. Top hiring companies are Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture, etc. The average salary package offered varies between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The maximum salary package offered ranges from 12 LPA - 14 LPA. minimum salary.

200% of students are getting placement every year the top best students may get 5 jobs at the same time. And the highest package is 72lpa which may be the best placement in a private college. I plan to get a good placement and have a good job and after 1 or 2 years apply for MBA.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
