The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

For those searching for a good college in Kolkata

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to study further into the matter of Artificial Intelligence as per my specialization. The faculty-student ratio is based on 1 teacher per 10 students. The faculty members are highly qualified in their respective subjects and teach in quite extensive details. Exams are held as per the schedule and are moderately hard.

I choosen this course because I want to become an computer Engineer and a data scientist.Teacher to student ratio is quite good almost 1:50. The qualifications of the faculty is top class they are from renouned University and colleges.wheather the exams are very tough and very Less time is there to study. From the sixth semester, campus placement starts. Comapnies like Wipro, Cognizant, HCL, Infosys, TCs are mostly visited. 90% of the students get placements if their academic results are good. The average package is 4LPA and the highest package is 45LPA. I plan to get placed in an IT field with an excellent package.

Description of UEM in a nutshell

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year onwards the students are eligible for campus placements. Company such as Wipro TCS cognizant HCL mind tree etc. Highest package as per 2020 is 12 lacs per annum and the average package is 4.5 lacs 100% placement To become a software engineer

If you come to this college this college is good the teachers are friendly and you will get the campus from the college if you study hard.

Placement Experience:

For campusing it starts from 3rd year 6th sem. The companies that come to this college are TCS , Wipro , Cognizant , HCL and many more . My plan after b.tech is to get a job then with job study for m.tech then give exam on DRDOIT.

Placement Experience:

This is the worst part about this college. A pre-placement class is provided to the students who are eligible for the placement. Grooming personality development reasoning everything. But students still can't get jobs with high packages.. average package is three lpa and the highest package is 6 lac pa.70% of students get placed.companies like hdfc axis bank shree ram etc came.

A decent college for computers engineers

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester, Candidates are allowed to take part in campus placement. As we have already discussed about placement,Here Most of the companies are from IT field. TCS Congzigant Wipro and Infosys are mostly visited company. Minimum one job offered to students.Avearge package is around 3-4 lakh per annum.Minimum package is around 2.5 lakh per annum Highest package goes 10lakh per annum.Nearly 80% students gets placed in our university. My plans are straight away to pursue in my career in Tech field.

BEST ENGINEERING COLLEGE IN WEST BENGAL

Placement Experience:

Around 3300+ strong alumni occupy key positions in a number of corporations, delivering tremendous value to their organizations. They have been recruited in wide range of companies like TECH MAHINDRA, AMAZON,FLIPKART, ZOMATO, TCS, WIPRO, UNACADEMY, BYJUS, INFOSYS, IBM, etc. The highest package offered is 28 lakhs per annum and the average package offered is 3.89 lakhs per annum. Generally, 95-98% of the students are successful in getting placements.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
