The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

The placement cell of Uem Kolkata has constant strives to strengthens the industrial relationship. Some renowned companies are TCS, Wipro, Byjus, Infosys, Amazon,42 hertz. The highest package is 40 LPA and the average package is 4.2LPA. 526 students have got 1 job offer, 86 students got 2 jobs to offer,13 students, got 3 jobs to offer, 4 students got 4 job offers and 2 students got 5 job offers. 761 jobs offers are generated.86% students got jobs offers.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The companies include TCS, WIPRO, Videonetics, Cognizant, Tata Motors, and many others. The highest package offered till now is INR 40 lakhs per annum, and the average package offered is INR 4.2 lakhs per annum. Around 90 % of students get placed for jobs. As for my plans after getting the degree, I am thinking of getting qualified for GATE to pursue higher studies.

UEM HONEST REVIEW

Placement Experience:

Actually from 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. Work India, Appdynamics, Udaan, PayPal, Tata Motors, Qualcomm, and several other companies hire hundreds of students every year. The highest package offered is 16 lakhs per annum by TCS and the lowest package offered is 5.1 lakhs per annum. Almost 75-85 percent of the students get recruited during the campus placements.

Placement Experience:

UEM KOLKATA Placement Percentage of 2020 b.tech is 79%. They will show the data number of job offer and total number of students. The actual scenario is that some of students have 2 or more than 2 job offer .There are approximately 64 companies visited last year . And as a result good number of students get placed. Other than this they will give gate coaching for each students beacuse of good faculties and it is included in your semester fees . no need to spend extra .

From the sixth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Bajaj, TCS, WIPRO, CTS, etc have visited our college with the highest lpa of 72. The average package is about 5 lpa and almost 95% of students get placed. I want to do higher education.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, all students are get prepared for the placement classes. Not only for the It companies and marketing,sells, as well as for the government jobs, banking,CAT,M.Tech they get prepared. Many alumni and reputed officer are visited for the workshop,events to teach the bright side and technical skills getting hire for reputated companies. So many reputed companies like TCS, Infosys,Wipro, Microsoft, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Capgemini, Deloitte,Larsen. etc visited for the recruitment with good packages. Anaverage can secure a stand with 12 LPA packages with high industry standards.In the times engineering ranking survey UEM got 3rd rank on East zone Pvt. Colleges and for the all India top 30 research placements secured top 4th rank which is highly remarkable. 90students get average placements and 70 percent of students get hike packages. After getting degree students have a secured life with a bright future.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester onward. The companies which come for hiring students are IBM, WIPRO, TCS, BYJUS. Students also get opportunities for sitting in pool campusing for various MNCs. The highest package was 35 LPA and the average package is 4.2 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed in good percentage is 95 percent I aspire to work for a good MNC and learn throughout my professional career.

Campus placements are held for students at the end of 3rd year. Many companies visit the campus and the placement rate is high. The placement cell is very active. Thought most of the companies are service-based like TCS, Cognizant, and Infosys. Average package is around 3.5 to 4 lpa.

Placement Experience:

Placement is 100% of our college. All of your seniors got a minimum of 1 job opportunity and many of them also get multiple job option like 2or 3 job opportunity from our college. Maximum students are placed in TCS, CTS, TCE & Wipro also. Some students also placed in core company like L&T and Bajaj also. The average package is 4.5 lacs-3.5 lacs per annum. Some students got a job package of 10 lacs and above.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
