The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

My college experience

Placement Experience:

From the beginning of the fourth year that is from the 7th semester itself, students can sit for the campus placement. CTS, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, E-Litmus, Adobe and many other companies visit every year for campus placement. 36 lakhs per annum is the highest package recorded till now from this college. Average package ranges from 4-5 lakhs per annum. As mentioned earlier I have selected this college because of the excellent placement record and the percentage of students getting placed is around 97%. After getting the degree my focus will be to gain experience by working in a company and later completing my M.Tech degree.

Placement Experience:

Definitely from the 7th-semester students become eligible for campus placements that are the beginning of 4th year. The highest number of offers got by a student till now is 7 and the average is from 1 to 2 job offers by students. TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Adobe, Infosys, Cognizant and many other companies visit every year. 72 lakhs per annum is the highest package got till date by a student and the average is 4-5 lakhs per annum. The placement record is excellent almost every student get a job during placement making it to around 995. My plan is to do farther study on programming basically on my field.

The university have good ranking among all the private universities in west bengal. Also the university have a good placement records with high package jobs. The university has an anti-ragging department which is very active.

My experience and review on UEM, Kolkata

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards students become eligible for campus placement exams and interview that is the starting of the 4th year. The highest number of offers got by a student is 7 and but a maximum of them get 1 to 2 job offers. TCS, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, E Litmus, Cognizant are the various companies and along with within the many other companies visits too making almost 1200 job offers in this session. This year recorded the highest package got by a student which is of 72 lakhs per annum but the average package remains around 4 to 5 lakhs per annum. As it has been published in the newspaper as well as on the internet the percentage of students getting a job is almost 99%. In the year 2023, I am going to complete my degree and before that campus placement will start so for the time being I am focusing for placement.

Different companies start visiting from the starting of the 7th semester for placement and recruiting students for their companies. The job offer to date is always greater than the total number of students in each year. The highest number of job offers by a student is 5 till now and every year this happens but a maximum of them get 1 to 2 job offers every year. Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Cognizant, and many other MNCs hire students every year. The highest package got by a student recorded this year is 72 lakhs per annum and the average package is 5 lakhs per annum. As there are more job offers than the total number of students so there is no question of any student not getting the job. The percentage is full 100% for placement. I am targeting for government job after getting my degree or I may pursue on campus or off campus job recruitment.

Placement Experience:

From fourth year's placement exam starts that is the starting of the fourth semester 7th semester onwards. TCS, Capgemini, Wipro, Tech Mahindra and many more companies hire students from our college. Highest package is 72 lakhs and the lowest is 3 lakhs per annum. The average is 5 lakhs per annum. Most of them get jobs during on-campus almost above 97 percent. I am planning for a government job so preparations are going on to crack the exam.

Placement Experience:

From the starting of the 4th year, students are asked for placement. TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, Infosys, and many other well-reputed companies visit every year and take a huge number of students for their company. The highest package till now recorded is 72 lakhs whereas it was previously 36lakhs. The average salary ranges from 4-5 lakhs. Every student gets placed you can hundred percent placement record every year. I am looking ahead for placement so that I can get a decent job.

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for the placement exam from the seventh semester which is the starting of fourth and final year.TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Infosys, Campegine and many other companies visit during placement. Seventy-two lakhs per annum is the highest package recorded this year and the average package is around six lakhs. All the students get jobs during placement so the success rate till now is a hundred percentage. I am looking for placement after getting my degree.

Placement Experience:

From 4th year onwards students are eligible to sit for campus placement that is from the seventh semester. Many well-branded companies visit every year with over 1000 plus job offers. Some of them are Adobe, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, and many more. Each and every student get placed every year because of the proper training they receive from the college. I am looking forward to an MBA after I get my B. Tech degree and for that college is giving proper training too.

Placement Experience:

From the 4th year that is from the 7th-semester campus, placement starts thus becoming eligible for it. TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, Adobe, Tech Mahindra, e-Litmus, and various other companies visit for placement. This year it was 72 lakhs which is the highest till now and average ranges from 6 to 6.5 lakhs per annum. 98% of students and above that are the number of students getting placed. My plan is to apply for the GATE exam so that I can complete my M.Tech after my B.Tech degree.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
