IIPE Visakhapatnam Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement is the best thing about my college. The last batch got 100% placement. Also, many of them have got more than two job offers from different companies. From the 7th semester, companies start to come to the campus and provide placements. I will take placement because college is giving decent opportunities for getting a decent job. Companies visited like ONGC, GAIL, HPCL, L&T, BYJU'S, TCS, IOCL, OIL, and many more IT companies.

Our college has a special area of focus for the chemical and petroleum department and therefore major PSUs like ONGC and iucl come there to handpick some of the best-crafted engineers from the country. And they also provide us with a very good package. The students become eligible for sitting in placements after the 7th semester for sometimes from the beginning of the 7th semester only. If we are talking about 2022 then companies such as HPCL have made five offers with a CTC of 17 lakhs per annum whereas ONGC made an offer to 11 students with a CTC of 15 lakhs per annum. There are many more companies and private organizations such as byju's and Infosys which give many offers to our students. This year around 80 offers were made in total to 95 students which are roughly about 85% of total students getting placement offers.

Students are eligible for placements after 3rd yr completion. firms for the placements varies from Core(petroleum and chemical) to Analytics , IT , consulting etc. Top recruiters includes PSUs like IOCL, HPCL ,ONGC,GAIL, HMEL etc. and private includes Shell, Saint Gobain , Linde , Eastman chemicals etc. and various other recruits like Fractal Analytics, latent view analytics, Hitachi consultancy ,TCS and number of other recruiters. Currently , as per the data 57 companies visited and 106 placement has been offered for 2018-2022 batch. Highest CTC IS 24 LPA and average CTC is around 9.57 LPA. As of 3rd June 2022, 98% of student were placed and remaining have opted for higher education. My plans after a getting a degree would be job experience for 2 to 3 years and later opt for CAT, GMAT etc.

The Placements of India Institute of Petroleum and Energy are going great. This year we got more Placements offers than the number of students applied this is all because the work that our Career Development Cell has done. In just 3 batch we have students working in all of the Major PSU in India. This year we have a average package of around 970000 Rs. and we all most achieved the target 100 % Placements.

The Campus Placements for the 2022 batch have been exceptional and overwhelming, with 98% of registered students being placed, while the rest have opted for higher studies. The placement season has seen a plethora of reputed companies across different sectors hiring our students. Reputed Companies like ONGC, IOAGPl, and Torrent Gas have recruited our Petroleum Engineering Graduates. In the IT and Data Analytics Sector, TCS and EXL Analytics have been some prominent recruiters. The average CTC is 970000, with the highest package being 2400000, offered by ONGC to 11 of our students. The placement policy is very flexible to ensure that the students can get maximum benefit. For a batch size of 86, we received around 110 offers, with some students bagging multiple offers

The students are eligible for placements during their fourth year. The placements at IIPE have grown both qualitatively and quantitatively over time. Various companies from different sectors including Analytics, Oil & Gas, IT, Pharma, etc. visited the college this season. Core companies like ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, Saint Gobain, Schlumberger, etc. provided the students at IIPE with placement offers. Around 57 companies visited IIPE and have provided 106 placement offers to its students. Around 98% of the students are placed while others have opted for higher education at various IITs, IIMs and also colleges outside the country. The highest package provided to the students is of 24 Lakhs per Annum and the average package is 9.57 Lakhs per Annum.

From the 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Very excellent companies pertaining to core sectors like ONGC, HPCL, GAIL, and OIL have visited IIPE for campus recruitment drives in the respective branches. Several IT and Analytics companies like SG Analytics, EXL Analytics, and Infosys have visited IIPE for campus drives. The number of offers made is higher than the total number of students! In the previous batch(2018-2022), almost the whole of the batch was placed except for a few going for higher studies/ personal plans.

Students are eligible for placements from the 7th semester and 57 companies visited the campus and 107 offers have been made. PSUs like ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, GAIL, and OIL, and recruit from campus. Other private core companies like IOAPGL, Saint Gobain, Torrent gas, Shell, Schlumberger, HMEL, Deccan Chemicals, L&T, Linde, Dalmia Bharat, etc visited the campus. In addition, noncore companies like Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, EXL, Hitachi, etc came for placement. Around 98% of the students got placed through the campus and some opted for higher studies.

The students are eligible to participate in campus placement drives as soon as their 4th year starts. While the placement season of 2021-22 has seen recruiters from the entire spectrum of the industry, this season was dominated by a variety of firms from sectors like Oil & Gas, Analytics & AI, Pharma & Chemical. The companies include core Chemical and Petroleum companies such as IOCL, ONGC, GAIL, HPCL, AkzoNobel, Shell, Torrent Gas, Saint Gobain, Linde, Indian Oil Adani Gas, Dalmia Bharat, Deccan Fine Chemicals, etc. In addition, interested students are also placed in Analytics and Consulting companies such as TCS, Accenture, Hitachi, EXL Analytics (with onsite opportunity), etc. 57 companies have visited IIPE in this placement season and 107 placement offers have been released. The highest CTC is 24 LPA and the average CTC is 9.57 LPA. Around 98% of the students are placed and are still counting.

After the completion of the 3rd year, students become eligible for sitting in placements. The firms from varied sectors like Oil and Gas, Analytics and AI, and Pharma and chemicals come in campus placements. Most of them are global leaders in their respective domains. The companies include IOCL, HPCL, ONGC, GAIL, AkzoNobel, Shell, L & T, Worley, Saint Gobain, Torrent Gas, Linde, Indian Oil Adani Gas, Premiere Energies, IRM Energy, Dalmia Bharat, Deccan Fine Chemicals, Sanmar Group etc. In addition, interested students are also placed in Analytics and Consulting companies such as ZS Associates, TCS, Accenture, EXL Analytics, Hitachi and many more. As per the most recent data 57 companies visited the college and 106 placement offers were received by 82 students. In connection with the above data, in the current graduating batch(2022), around 98% of the students are placed and the remaining have opted for higher education in IITs & IIM. Highest CTC was 24 LPA and the average CTC was 9.57 LPA.
