College of Vocational Studies Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Our college has a placement cell named ASPIRE which provides internship opportunities right from the first year first semester and also it provides placements in MNC companies too in the fifth and sixth semester and companies like AMAZON, DELOITTE, and others visit the campus for placement and the cell helps a lot to get hired in the companies with good package. Currently, I am unaware of the package as I am in the first year only and have not much interacted with seniors also.

There were many opportunities of placement for the students but I was one of then students who didn't try and the one who didn't want to go in it because I have some different future plans. But placement cell was good.

By the 6th semester, you are eligible to sit for placements. Speaking for myself I got placed in Genpact after I did my BA Voc (HRM) course but I didn't take it up as the offer was not that lucrative. And I'm talking about 2018, things must have changed now.

companies visited like tommy hilfiger, rapido, oyo, times of india etc. but the placement is average and only help you good if you are well enough into your studies.Our seniors had placed in several companies with income around 30k. Several feed processing companies, food processing companies, aquaculture pond, hatcheries opens for us for our service. Avanthi feeds is the major company reputed our students.

College of vocational studies provides 60% placement to their students. Tourism in management provides placement to the companies like yatra.com, go ibibo, etc. The course tourism in management trains their students to set up their own business also.

3rd year, the final year of their graduation. From Delloite to KPMG, From Flipkart to EY we have plenty of good companies coming to our college every year. Around 70% of students get placements through the College's Placement Cell. I'm going for MBA in Human Resource Management.

From the 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. Since corona, no companies have visited our college. According to our seniors, the highest package was 8lac per annum and the lowest package was 1lac per annum. 90% of the students get placements in our college. I plan to start up my own tour and travel company.

Placements: Companies like Tresviata, etc., had visited here and offered the role of analyst with a salary package of 6.5 LPA. Mainly jobs were offered for all the courses. I don't know what percentage of students got placed. However, our college definitely provides a lot of options to choose from.

The placement cell is run by two teacher coordinators and students. Our placement cell is called Aspire. The placements are good. You receive several opportunities and attend interviews and get selected. However, the criteria are, once you receive two offer letters from two different companies, you will not be allowed to sit for another interview, until and unless you reject one. Since every student has a chance and equal opportunity for placement. Companies such as Decathalon, EY, Sapient, BYJU's and many such companies visit the college to recruit students. The average package for our college students is around 3-4 LPA. The highest package is up to 10-12 LPA. The percentage of getting placed could result in 70-80 % depending upon company needs. The plan after completing the course is to get placed in a company and develop myself to further improve and get a high degree education.

In our college, there are many placements only if you are interested. Aspire cell of the college provides placements .from 3year students can avail placements. Many companies visit our college like Pepsi, Google, etc. The highest package I think is 12 lakhs per annum. And minimum is 2-3 lakh pa. The Percentage of students getting placed is 70%. My plans are for MBA in this field only for better knowledge and jobs.
