Remarks
I chose Nit Durgapur over other colleges because of its good placement records over the last few years and also due to the awesome faculty. The admission process was quite simple. Since due to pandemic it was all online so we didn't had to travel to the college for the admission procedure. We just submitted all our scanned documents and once they got verified we received our enrollment number
Course Curriculum Overview
Faculty: student ratio is 1:90. Faculties are overall good. We had online classes till now so couldn't interact much with them but overall teaching in good. We have one paper each month of the sem and difficulty level is average.
Placement Experience
Placements are quite decent here. Almost all tech gaints come on campus for hiring. The hiring process starts from 6th sem onwards and for interships students can apply from their 4th sem. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Jp morgan visits every year for hiring interns and full time employees.
College Events
Aarohan is the techno management fest organised in Nit Durgapur. We didnt have the opportunity to attend it on campus due to this pandemic so it was organised online but still it was fun participating in all the events
Fees and Financial Aid
There are 3 diff categories of fees according to the income of the student's family. There are various scholarship options available like ongc. One can apply for these scholarships regarding which college sends a mail to every student once the forms are open
Campus Life
The campus area is huge, and all the things are very decent. Sports like football and cricket are common, and also, all the indoor games and gym are available for all the students. The classrooms are good. According to seniors, library facilities are also remarkable.
Admission
No there were no such gd or interview process. We got our admission on the basis of our jee mains score and the preferences filled by us during jossa counselling
