We could sit for the placement right after the commencement of 4th year. The average package was around 12 lakhs. Many companies like GS, and Adobe provided packages of upward of 30 lakhs. I got in good company too.

Students are eligible for placement from the 5th semester I think there are lots of companies visiting the college some of them are Amazon Microsoft and a lot of companies like them the highest package provided is around 85 lakhs from a biotech department student in Finland and the average package about 8 lakhs. The placement percentage for students in my department is 60%. I think I will go for Masters after my degree completion

The placement scenario of BIT MESRA is really decent. Various companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Oracle, ONGC, Reliance, etc visit each year to recruit students. Circuital branches like CS ECE are offered with high packages. On average we can say 16 LPA. But lower branches are also offered with decent packages like avg 8-9 LPA. Overall 80%+ students get placed. It varies each year.

I chose chemical engineering because I wanted to join either a core company or a consultancy. Before admission, I asked some seniors and they advised me to take either mechanical or chemical engineering if I am going for the non-circuital branch. The second reason for which I selected chemical engineering was it consists of subjects that are important in pharmaceutical and food technology. There are 22 professors in the chemical department. The 2k19 batch has 45 students from chemical engineering and 40 students from chemical plastic and polymer. some teachers take classes with food technology students too. food technology students from the k19 batch are 20 in number.

Students become eligible for placements in the 6th semester when the companies start coming. There are a lot of companies coming with overall 85-90% placement overall. In the mechanical department, the average package of 2023 placement in 9 lacs and the highest is in Oracle with 18 lac CTC. In mech, almost 90% of students got placed.

Placements are quite good and various companies generally come like Wipro, Byjus, Pantaloons, Hdfc, Icici, and many more. Package starts from 400000- 2000000 LPA. 80% get the placements.

From the third year of b. Tech you can get internship offers from companies (after the 5th semester). In IT sectors companies like Google, Microsoft, and Facebook also visit. And placements in CSE and ECE are almost 100%. Overall placement is 80%. The highest package till now is 58 LPA from computer science and the average package overall is around 12-13 LPA including all the branches. After getting the degree my plan is to get placed in a good company and we'll see what to do after that.

After the third year students are getting a pre-placement offer on campus so placements for the circuital branch need no introduction it's just insane. Almost all big companies come here and also uidai(Aadhar) came on campus so it's impressive. In the circuital branch (80-90%) students are getting placed on campus. I will take a placement with no plans for further study till now.

I had an interest in computers since my childhood, also the packages in this department are better so I opted for computer science engineering. The faculty: student ratio is 1:40. All the professors are highly qualified. They have P.hd in their respective courses from reputed universities. They make use of presentations to teach and sometimes even use chalk. Some professors have other ways like student interaction and tallying real-life problems. The exams here are very frequent, and by the end, students get well acquainted with exams, and fear of exams vanishes.2 quizzes,1 before mid sem and 1 after it is taken. At the end of every semester, an end semester is conducted.

from 3rd year onwards placements start. Google, Microsoft, Atlassian, Amazon, Samsung, oracle, etc come and make great offers this year 87% were placed. the highest package for 2023 is not yet disclosed but ig it is 84lpa international by Atlassian to 5 students. the average package for 2022 was 20-21 LPA. I will enjoy my life. spend money.
