NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I have choose EE because it's have both core and it features so i believe that I will go for core but if the situation changes then accordingly i will shift. The curriculum is pretty good in this campus according to me that's why I have choose this course. I don't think I have enough thinking level to suggest about that. Before exam there should be some gap for studies purpose I mean to say classes should be off. And everything is good.

Placements in this college is quite decent . Students are eligible to sit for placements at the start of 4th year The average placement percentage was 90 percent last year with max package of 52lpa and average of 16lpa (for cs) .Among core branches , the mech department is quite good offers good packages and also have great faculties .

The placement is overall good.and there are many good companies which comes for on campus placement like Microsoft, Amazon.students are eligible for placement from the third year onwards.80 percent of students get placement overall in the recent years.the highest package is 52 lakhs and the average is 11 lakhs.

7th semester is the semester from which students will be applicable to sit for placements. Many companies visit NIT Silchar. Placement statistics vary from branch to branch. Almost all CSE and ECE students get placed with median salary being around 23lpa. The core placements are also excellent. Many government companies like HOCL, BPCL, IOCL and other Navratna companies come for placements here. The placement in core branches is around 80%.

This year the highest placement record went upto 54lpa and the average were 13lpa. Around 70 percent stucents got placed this year. Top companies that visit our campus include amazon, microsoft, TCS, snapdeal etc.

As I wanted to explore the things from beginning they are several intersting things which ECE teach us.exam taking frequency is quite good at nit Silchar they used to take minors mid sem and end sem and practical exams also

the course curriculum is relevent and comprehensive in all aspects. my aim was to study electronics nd currently, i am pursuing it. since in the modern world electronics has too much of high potential. there is need for improvent in the teaching methodology rest of everything is fine and we have mid sem nd end sem in a semester so usually it happens after 2 months

The students starts getting intership from the end of second year. Many companies such as Amazon, Flipkart,atlassian,Goldman Sachs visit our campus for recruitment. The highest package offered is nearly 80Lpa and an avg package of 15Lpa Almost 80% of the students are placed in a general scenario

the only reason i joined this college was that it was in my homestate and the placements were pretty good. infact CSE departments average package is 24 LPA. overall average is 18 LPA. big companies visit the campus like microsoft, amazon, oracle, atlassian. the highest package went at around 80-85 LPA and overall placement percentage was 95% almost. my plans after getting the degree are quite straighfroward. i want a good job in the IT sector.

The median package offered offered during Btech and Mtech palcement 2023 stppd at INR 13.95LPA and INR 6LPA, respectively.While the highest and average package offered in NIt Silchar was INR 80 LPA and INR 14.39 LPA respectively.The average package offered to electrical branch was INR 12.28 LPA.
