NIT Silchar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Campus placements starts for 4th year students and some gets PPo during their intership during their 3rd year itself. Compaines are: Amazon, Microsoft,Atlassian etc as of 2023 highest placement is of 53 LPA. Average package stands at 14 LPA. More than 90%+ students get placed.

Placement in our college is good.In 2022-23 placement percentage was about 91 percent.with average package 12 lpa and median salary was 10 lpa.Top companies are like Microsoft, Goldman Sach, Google, Samsung etc . Microsoft offer 3 students

Yeah, students are eligible for with a perticular criteria. There are more then 300 companies visit and the no of offers are good. The highest package is 80 lpa and average package is 16 lpa. The percentage of students getting placement is 90%. My plan is to get a good placement in campus

students become eligible for campus placements after 2nd year.Name of the Companies visited are Google, uber, oyo etc & no of offers made is like 250 out of 300.Percentage of students getting placements is 88.4%.My plans after the getting the degree is too go for tech job in it sector.

Placement sessions takes place in the end of third year or start of fourth year.Placement stats have risen significantly in the recent years.Their have been approx 1000+ offers from several companies like Microsoft ,swiggy, capegemini, Infosys, TCS, Byju's ,LnT etc.,major companies.The highest reported package was 80 lpa last year ,but from inside sources I came to know that someone got an off campus international placement of 1.65 CR per annum. Percentage of students getting placed was about 85% of last year with top branches like cs,ECE and ei being well over 90% .I also desire to get a job after completion of the course

placement in my college is mainly branches likr cse ,ece ,ei, and electrical ,and their avg packages are 26lac,15 lac ,14.6 lac and 12 lac respectively .mecanical and civil has comparatievly low packages
