I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

UNDERSTANDING NIT RAIPUR

Likes

Attendance criteria is not strict and bike is permissible in the campus for Students.
The campus is filled with levish greenery. Parks and cleanliness is maintained properly.
Course curriculum is most likely in the way they are taught and the opportunities we are open to is immense.

Dislikes

There is fixed intime for the students after that they are fined, is not liked by the students .even we can't roam in the campus at nights
Library is closed on Sunday as well as not open 24*7.
Hostel seats are limited and are given on the merit basis, Hostel should be given to all.

Placement Experience:

In our college, there is good campus placement opportunities almost 100 percentage is placed in CSE branch . students are eligible for placements in 4 year. We are also provided with the oncampus intern opportunities. This year placement season is going on, last year highest package was 80 LPA offered by Atlasian. More than 300 offers were given to the students and around 100 companies visited the campus for placements. Average package of the college is around 11.5 LPA.

Despite the rigorous academic curriculum there was a relaxed atmosphere on campus that allow students to purchase the study without filling overwhelmed.
the scheduling of classes was well organised with relatively few gaps between session this allowed for efficient use of time and minimised down time between classes and everything to make the most of the day without long breaks.
One of the advantages of NIT Raipur was its location within the main city this proximity provided easy access to amenities such as shopping centres restaurants and entertainment venues.

Dislikes

The campus infrastructure of NIT Raipur may have lacked basic necessity such as adequate maintenance of buildings insufficient facilities for students and limited access to modern amenities
Power campus infrastructure can negatively impact various aspects of student life including academic pursuits extracurricular activities and overall well being.
Recognising the importance of a conducive learning environment there may be a need for continuous efforts to improve campus infrastructure at NIT Raipur.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers four subjects such as data structures and algorithms DBMS OS CN and software engineering which are fundamental to computer science, additionally elective courses in emerging areas like artificial intelligence machine learning Internet of things and cyber security provides students with exposure to cutting its technologies. The curriculum emphasises both theoretical concepts and practical skills equipping students necessary knowledge to external industry roles or pursue higher education. Hands on experience gained through projects internships and industry collaboration prepares students for real world challenges in the field of computer science the strong foundation provided by the curriculum also facilitates smooth transition into advanced academic pursuits such as research or postgraduate studies. Incorporating more courses or modules focused on emerging technologies and industry trends could enhance the relevance of the curriculum.

collage ki chugli

collage building is nice ,faculty is not good and infrastructure are also nice
overall experince is good till now and search for more
faculty are very rude they were always in peak of their anger

Dislikes

having less clean and have to expand the collage size
hostel iis not there that create a difficulty to excess from collage to our room
here not a much amount of room for clubs

Placement Experience:

our collage placement is good in forth year companies start visiting in collage many companies like tata phone pay paytm reklience etc are visited in our collage teh highest pakage is around 54 lakh and average pakage is 8 lakh more than 50 percent of student get placed my plan is for placement only

Likes

This college have very good placement opportunities.
Fests and college committees are amazing.
Good library canteen and Indian Coffee House in the college campus.

Dislikes

Very very small campus area playground is also not maintained properly.
Poor campus experience and little bit strict campus.
Does not provide hostel to all the students.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good even it is recession but the placements are good companies like Amazon, Microsoft and jp Morgan visits the but the core placements are amazing in core more than 80% of all the branches are placed so if you are in core branch then you will have great opportunity in this college overall including all the branches almost 70-75% students are placed.

The thing which I like the most is my professors they are teaching methods are really really so best and their teach like a superheroes everything is so good the teach like a coaching teachers with the help of them I can crack gate easily

Dislikes

I don't like the hype that NIT Raipur is a worst college. Believe me if you have a studied here for 4 years you will say that this is the best college in your entire life

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is around 15 lakhs per annum if you are talking about my branch my branch placement is around 10 to 11 lakh if you are strong and have a good CPI you can go to PSU and the Teachers are so good that you can crack gate easily and get a government job easily from this college.

students do internship in 2nd year also they have to do internship in 3rd year and college provide internships , you will be able to get placement in 4rth year . many companies visits here like adani , j&w , vedanta etc. package is quite good here avg package of my branch is 10.12 lpa and the highest package is 28lpa placement percent is also.good this year nearly 85% students got placed from my branch i have plan to go for gate exam

My college is good enough i listend and i didnt have any objection for that
Nit raipur is in between main road and it have good facility of transportation.
Greenry college campus and so many seminars held in our college

Dislikes

Campus is not to much big like IIT , and any other big private college.
So many restrictions in this college like in fest you didnot have a dj night.
I think some improvements in instruments for experiments is ineeded.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Btech course in civil engineering is a slightly tough in Nit raipur because teacher are strict so much. You have to attend classes and pay attention to pass the exam. Our curriculum are well prepared our time table schedule is good enough. Exam are conducting in a good manner and syllabus is also a good content and after the 4 year you are well prepared for application provided in civil engineering Teachers are good enough but I think in place of assistant or phd scholars teachers are also requested to come class in important Days. It is difficult to attempt mid term and end term during in period after 1 month .

An Unbiased review of NIT Raipur

Likes

The thing I liked most was the grandeur of the college, the amount and quality of fests and the students behaviour. Teachers are very helpfull also.
The no of fests are many more so one can get to enjoy much.
The studen teacher relationship in the college is very healthy and professors are very helpfull.

Dislikes

The facilities of sports both indoors and outdoors is very minimal.
There is no separate departmental building. The feeling of distinguished is gone.
The ample amount of assignments and study pressure is huge. There is also very less girls.

The placement scenario is pretty good here depending on the branch though. For non core placement it is always leading among other NITs, but due to recession right now the scenario is a little less clear. For core though u may not find good options but as per research oriented works you would be encouraged a lot.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
