I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

Best College NIT Raipur

Likes

Faculties are good and they treat as a friendly.
There are good beautiful campus and hostel facilities are so nice.
The NIT Raipur is a one of the best engineering colleges in India.

Placement Experience:

There is a good placement offer provided by this college and the many companies are coming there and they taken many student for their companies and giving a good package in this year highest package is going 50 + lpa. My goals is gate exam.

Here I like the infrastructure of college, and the central garden .
The clubs members and seniors are very supportive.
The faculties of nit raipur are really awesome.

Dislikes

Hostel accomodation is not sufficient as sometimes I feel really irritation due to four members in one room but my all roomates are really good.
In nit raipur there are a lot of South people through which u can learn other languages.
The campus of nit raipur should be more big .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got 95 percentile in jee mains and based on this percentile I got electrical engineering in nit raipur.But I have interest in electronic devices so I opt for this course. In nit Raipur the faculties are really awesome they help us alot for practical exams and even for practical exams .

Engineering making process

I liked the placement scenario. It give very good opportunities to get placed in good company.
Study curriculum is not much hard. Coding culture is also nice.
Cultural fest and sports fest are much good.

Dislikes

Campus is not good as we thought any NIT.
Infrastructure is also very low as compared to other NIT.
There are very normal playgrounds for cricket, football. There is no indoor sports complex.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides great opportunities in terms of placements. Many companies visit our college on campus placements and provides good packages. Average package of mining is about 10 lakhs and highest offer received by mining student this year was 55 lakhs. Most mining students get job in core companies but non core companies still provide opportunities to sit on placement. Internship opportunities are widely available in our college.

Likes

event fest and great celebration is what drives students to be part of of such great life

Dislikes

poor facilities of hostel and washrooms and class rooms
only 2 cafe and no sunday meals at hostel

NIT Raipur has student help and placement God of NIT Raipur where is from here to year and also depends on factor such as economic decimals of the country industry demand age group involved in placement

Biggest Campus in Central India good infrastructure

Dislikes

does not have accommodation for all the students, and students get hostel based on their ranks (in 1st year) and then their CGPA afterwards
feel, when I was there, research work was some what lower as compared to the similar ranked NITs, this may be subjective.

Placement Experience:

NIT Raipur placement's assistance is assured to all students. The overall average package offered to students in 2022was INR 10.12 LPA. The college is visited by top companies such as Deloitte, Wipro Limited, and others. The placement-related aspects are hence taken care of by the Department of Training & Placement. As we had talked with some seniors they told it is increasing day by day.

Likes

The campus is very good and beautiful, that i love.
The labs and experience excite me very much.

Dislikes

The hostels are less in the campus, soo many student have to stay in PGs.

Placement Experience:

The placement are very good of our college. Avg package of 800000 for core and 1800000 for non vore. Around 80 percent student gets placed. Many big and well set up companies come to our college as it's a national instruction.

Welcome to NIT Raipur !!!

I had got opportunity to make new friends. Since I had good friends I'm living my college life fullest of it. So I'm happy.
There are many clubs and communities where we can showcase our inner talents.
Our college had organized mock placement, where I was selected upto interview round beating almost 1000 students, I was among only few students making it upto the interview round.

Dislikes

If you're from home state then forget about the hostels..!!! There is Shortage of hostel for students
I think that our college has small campus area.
Another thing I dislike is about the Time Table of our college. We have theory classes at afternoon which is hard for me at summers.

Placement Experience:

Yes ,our college provides many opportunities for on campus placement. After 4th semester students start applying for internships,from where they may get pre placement offers ( ppo's). Recently our 5 seniors had grabbed PPO from Microsoft company. Highest package offered was 55 lakh CTC & average package is around 10 LPA. Almost 80-85% students get placed whereas others choice for higher studies or prepare for other examinations. I would try for the GATE exams.

Campus it is very big campus of 70 acre . Everywhere in the campus so it feels good

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am topper of NIT Raipur with the course and kulam for NIT Raipur is easy to moderate so that all the people can easily get passed and it is not that much disphalt that everyone gets fail so the method and training and teaching methods which we are studying is very easy because of a teachers and ventures guide us from the next level so that we can easily pop up with the new advancement which we are getting from getting inside the NIT Raipur the frequency and timing of the exams are very easy and semester exam after which there is no examinations the semester get changed after the end semester examination.

Pros and cons of NITRR

Likes

A like students here, seniors are very supportive, faculties are very supportive.
Exposure of this college is very great, we have students from nearly every state of India.

Dislikes

Racism is quite much here, discrimination takes place on the basis of north and south india
There are no sports teacher or coach, seniors have to manage all.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for internships from 5th semester onwards and 7th semester for placement. Giant companies like microsoft, and mass recruiters like tcs visit our campus. As for 2024 so far 62 lpa was the highest packege offered by microsoft and average package so far for biomedical enngeniring is 8.6lpa. Percentage of students placed is low for biomedical enngeniring(around 32%) and for other branches it's above 80%. As I am in research oriented branch I would like to do masters.

Campus size - Campus is small so you have to walk less to go were ever you want to go. As this is feature have some pros and cons in itself.
Faculty - Many experienced faculty is present in the campus, and leaving some arrogent ones the are very helpful in every aspect.
Placement - Placement is above then average in NIT raipur which is very good.

Dislikes

Campus size - As campus size is small so every student dont get the hostel facility in the campus .
Course - Many unwanted courses are taught in the college, which creates burden in student life,
Faculty - Some are very arrogant faculties, and they scold very badly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum of the cource is very interesting and very precics to the morder requirment.As its a Institute of National importance so the curriculum is very good. Still there are many improvment required in this curriculum such as as in first year there are many subects which are irrelevent for our branch and for our interests. As many subjects such as food web food chains elc is not very useful for our branch and its important to study it. Which is not required.The frequency of examination is twice in a sem and four time in a year. For odd sem exams usually occurs in october for mid sem and end sem occurs in month of december.and for even semester examination of mid semenster occurs in the month of march and end semester occurs in may.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
