I liked the campus beauty and the staff over here who are very supportive and the teachera who are ready for yoy every time you go to them and wven the hygine is maintained quite good here
Faculty members in this department are the best atleast i think so, they interact with students in a friendly manner this allows us to freely ask our doubts and gain knowledge.
Tution fee in each year is increased by 10 percent and there are number of scholarships and fee refunds for which a student can apply for after approval of his cirtificates and various other documents.

Dislikes

Hostels - their is not sufficient hostels available for students and hostel mess is very bad. their is no student union available so it is very difficult to make some change in college.
It is not so good as expected because of lack of facilities within the college.but according to social aspects and culture it is good and our nit is lacking infrastructure and this affects campus life too.
It is a very small campus compared to the other nits, the college grounds are very small, and there are no separate buildings for the courses.

About NIT Raipur

Likes

You get to make connections with impactful people who have loads of knowledge and can guide you through the journey of graduation.
Events are held all round the year that keep the students engaged and build a good environment for participation.
Facilities like medical facilities, gym, Amul parlour, CCD, sports facilities

Dislikes

The infrastructure of the institute buildings is below expectations
Shortage of hostel seats for the students. Students have to do arrangements for themselves.

Placement Experience:

NIT Raipur Has Quite a Good Placement Report among NITs. Students from fifth semester start working on internships and projects to support their experience. The placement season starts from 7th semester for the students. A total of 693 offers were received during NIT Raipur BTech placements 2022-2023. Apart from this, a total of 47 and 69 offers were received during NIT Raipur MTech and MCA placements 2022-2023, respectively. The top recruiters during NIT Raipur placements 2022-2023 included Deloitte, Wipro and Genpact. Currently in the 2023-2024 session, the highest package offered has been 62 LPA while the average packages have been 18 LPA for non-core placements and 8 LPA for core placements. Elite companies like Microsoft, Adobe, Google also recruit students from NIT Raipur. 74.92% students get placed every year from the institute while others work on their start-ups and further higher studies.

Opportunity and enjoyment NIT RAIPUR

Likes

Placement are good and high in each and every branch of the college where high or low branch and equal opportunities
Labs are well structured with good infrastructure and centralised air conditioning with proper internet connectivity and proper wifi systems
Clubs and committee are well established and which focuses eacha nd every aspect of development of student and it's for optimum level

Dislikes

There is lack of availablity of hostel in college only 4 for boys and 1 for the girls

Placement Experience:

People are eligible in fron fourth year but for the internship they are eligible in third year. As for the mining coal idea,Adobe, Microsoft and other major companies are involved in it there avg package is 10 lakh and high is 60 lakh percentage is quite high around 85% after many opt for the further education like mtech. As the education are good people often pursue as teachers and cibil services there not major issues regarding placement for the student. As the degree of nit is valuable people also involved in startup and business

A comprehensive review of NIT Raipur

Likes

Classrooms, library, labs ,Wi-Fi are good in college
Teachers are helpful, qualified and experienced.
Here seniors are also friendly, in campus ragging is not allowed. This is the best thing of the college

Dislikes

There are only few hostels for boys and girls. Students have to live Outside from the campus as there is no space in hostels.
The institute does not have big campus, it has very small area
NIT Raipur does not have bulking auditoriums, Not good workshops.

Placement Experience:

From 6th sem the students are eligible for campus placement. The companies which are visited like relaaince, phone pay, coal india, ford etc. The average placement is likely 15 LPA. From my branch highest pacakage is 55 LPA.

A Brief review of NITRR

Likes

Well maintained and good infrastructure.
The faculty is very helpful and senior are also very kind and friendly.
Provides many internship, placement and job opportunities and also provides us opportunity to study abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements in their 7th semester of btech degree. Companies like Microsoft, Infosys, Amazon, TATA Motors, Mahindra etc visits and offers placement opportunities for students. 90-95% of the students are placed with respected job opportunities. After getting the degree, students and apply for their masters in abroad countries also.

Campus is Ragging Proof, i.e. No Ragging is allowed and it actually is true.
Placement opportunities are good, considering the companies that visits and average packages they offer.
Alumni Network : Alumni network of NIT Raipur is really strong, as they are placed in various companies and some of them are even CEOs, one such example is former Wipro CEO, Abid Ali Neemuchwala.

Dislikes

Hostels are not available for all, as the no of rooms are limited, hence students who score good marks are given hostels while others have to arrange for themselves on their own.
Maintenance of Campus is not very well done specially of grounds, as the parts of football and handball ground is usually covered with long grown grasses, cricket ground is more like a lake for almost 4-5 months of the year.

Placement Experience:

The Placements of the college is really good and a positive side for this college. The Students from 5th semester are eligible for on-campus internships and students from 7th semester are elligible for on-campus placements. Several tech giants visits teh company which includes Amazon, NVIDIA, Adobe, Microsoft, Cognizant, Wipro, JP Morgan, Vedanta, etc. Amazon, Adobe and Microsoft hire about 3-4 students each every year for the role of Software Developer with a constant package of 55,00,000 per annum. which is the highest package offered by the company in on-campus placements. The average package offered varies from company to company, branch to branch and roles. the highest average package is offered to CSE, IT students which is about 18 ,00,000 per annum. the total percentage of students placed is quite good and is around 80% overall, and about 90-92% for branches like CSE, IT and Mettalurgy.

It's campus it is has a very large campus area with amul parlor and vachan with all play ground

Yes college has campus placement it's start from third year which is mostly 6th and 7th semester .Our college comes with a wide range of placement offers from various companies like Deloitte ,adani etc . About 80 percentage of Student gets placed on through campus

Likes

The things I liked that I'm in first year but you can engage with seniors and they're all good nature
Second thing we get holidays very much 😂😂
Third thing lot of entrepreneurs speaker come to tell about the marketing department

Dislikes

Campus is small as compared to other NITs
Second thing there is shortage of hostel
Rest all is good but there are less park

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester you are able to sit in the campus placement and as this college is in central india every company visit mostly Vedanta , TCS ,Adani , Tata so if you have the talent and skills no one can beat you to be honest

Brief Overview of NIT raipur

Likes

Competative and challenging environment for students
technology fun and art oriented fest and events
On campus placement and highly collified profesors

Dislikes

There are very less Coordination and understanding between branches
Saying Sir and Mam to seniors is not good
Need of renovation in complete campus which is going on

Actually NITs are famous for there campus placement and the environment which encourages everyone to create something new highest package form NIT raipur is in Crore from Computer science and information technology department.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are held for the 4th year students in Btech. The placements in my college are very good. The highest Package last year in campus placements was 45 LPA and the total average package was around 9LPA

NIT, Dream of many students.

Likes

It is near the railway station so transportation is easy. Hostel facilities are very good, food quality is good, teaching staff are excellent and laboratory helps you to meet real life experience.
College Campus is good, Clean roads, well managed traffic systems, well decorated college gardens, clean cclassrooms and corridors.
College provides play ground for cricket, football, basketball, Volly ball, badminton, chess. Security gaurds are available for managing this all.

Dislikes

Many times in Central computer lab, placement process keeps going because of this some lab we have to skip or shifted in different class.
In rainy seasons, playgrounds for cricket, football fill with rainy water which is problematic thing for players.
Hostel is not for every collage student, in first year only few students get hostels and after 1st year, more less gets hostel. Because of this many students faces problems because they have to go outside for shelters

Placement Experience:

The college campus is average. Placements offered in our college. The maximum package offer this year is 62 lakh per annum. A total 10 students got 55 lakh package so far for the year 2023. The average package for technical branches like Computer science and engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and communication engineering is 16 lakh per anum. And for core branches like Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical engineering, Mining engineering, mattulergy engineering is 8 to 10 Lakh per anum. Core branches students are also placed upto 55 lakh by doing good in technical fields. Almost 80 percent students get placements.

As an alumnus of NIT Raipur, here are my views on this institution-

Faculty- The faculty lags behind in terms of NIT standards. It is slightly above average. This is because their teaching method is not very engaging. That being said, the teachers are helpful. They will advise you to engage in extracurriculars as well.

Student Interaction- The senior-junior interaction is good.

Despite IIT Raipur and AIIMS Raipur being in close proximity, interaction and

idea-sharing with them is negligible.

Industry Connect- It has a good industry connection for some core branches like mining, metallurgy, and civil.

Campus Life- The campus life isn’t good. But eventually, you’ll learn to cope with things and enjoy yourself. You’ll learn a lot during your degree from this campus.

Infrastructure- There is a lot of room for improvement in the infrastructure of this college.

Placement- Placement records are decent. Last year an average package of INR 10.1 LPA was recorded by the college. A total of 738 offers were made by 101 companies. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placements include- Infoedge, Siemens, Adobe, Barclays, Capgemini, FIAT, Reliance, TATA, SapientNitro, Oracle, Amazon, Samsung, JP Morgan Chase, Cognizant and Wipro.

Overall, I would say that NIT Raipur is a bit lacking in many respects. However, you’ll get a good chance to rise over here because of low competition.
