NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The course curriculum is good . Our first year passed by studying the basics of engineering that covered the basic subjects of each branch of Engineering. And onwards from 2nd year, our main subjects like Object Oriented Programming, Data Structures and Operating Systems came.

In final year students are eligible for placements and in third year for on campus internships. Nearly 70 to 80 companies visits our college in every year. In cse department last year 90 % placement rate and 16.7 lac average and overall 78% placement rate and 12 lac average package for all branches.

Placements are okay, if u have good skills u can easily get placed. Core placenta are also okay companies like Aston Martin come here. And mostly students in civil go for government job or higher studies.Manybhave cracked gate this year as well .

Curriculum is designed as per your course it is good enough so you also have time to participate in extra curriculum activities. Teaching methods are to good but some of them are not .sometime you have put extra efforts for getting high cgpa .as Ece department student some subjects are important

From 4 th semester student is eligible for placement interview.companies like Amazon dwell and many telecom companies ,IT company visit and also core company offers is like maximum students got placed from college.Maximum placement is 2 crore from our college and percentage is 87-90 %.

From 7th semester students can become eligible for placements Mahindra Make mass placement of around 20 offers and oracle with 5 max with 5 Highest package with microsoft with 44 lpa 70% are getting placed My plan is for higher studies

from 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies who visit our colleg to hier students in their company companies like oracle , honda , tvs , LNT . Student get average package of 8-10 lac per annum

The curriculum of NIT Hamirpur allows for some flexibility, in elective courses. The institute incorporates hands-on projects, real-life applications, and practical skill development tends to be well received. The exams are held on time.

From 3rd year onwards students become eligible for college placements. The top companies that visit this college are Microsoft, HCL, acer , wipro etc.. the highest ctc offered to a student is around 1.2 crores . The placements vary from department to department.. the cs department offers an around of 14 lacs per yr placement as average. My plans would be to spend time with my parents after getting the degree :)

After 6th sem people start to sit for placements and give interviews. lot of companies visited including big like amazon and flipkart . Place in my department was 88%. highest package last time was around 1.2cr average was around 15 lakhs i will get the degree in the year 2026
