NIT Hamirpur Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Yes my college provides campus placement Students from 3rd year starts to appear on campus internships and final year for placements Here many companies visits like Samsung Flip kart etc. last year hights package was 50LPA and average package was 12LPA But this year percentage of placements was not good as previous year My plan after getting degree is only one to be in MNC company at good package

Form 7th sem they become eligible for campus placement. There are many big names in company list like Welsfargo, honda, mahindra JSW , hiremi etc. highest this year I would say 32lpa and for avg I would go with 12 lpa. Placement percentage of over-all students is quite good it is aprox 65 percent this year. I also plan to do job after for some time.

From 3rd year student are eligible for placement. Majority of companies do not visit the campus because of the location of the College Placement are not that good but decent highest package is from off campus placement Majority of students get placed in final year

Placement of national institute of hamirpur is good for computer science average package is 12lakh for electronics and communication its average package is 10lakh and its highest package is around 60lakh

The students become available for placement from seventh semester till the end od eighth semester. Decent amount of companies come to the campus for placement. Both technical and core companies come to the campus. The average package of all the companies is 7-8 lakhs. Also most of the students are placed and some prepare for civil services or other jobs.

The college placements are great with highest package sgoing upto 1.2crore, The average package of cse department is 12lpa while overall it sits around 7 lpa. CSE has highest placement record followed by ECE and MNC. Companies like Carrier,Paytm, Infosys, Reliance, Deloitte and other companies have grace the college per year. Due to covid and recession the placements have taken a hit but its the same case everywhere.Around 800 offers were made to college student during 2022-2023 batch. The no of of Overall student placed percenatge os 70% while CSE is 90% with highest record. My plan after getting a degree is to take up college placement. The students become eligible for campus placements in their 4th year or 7th semester for BTECH students.

Students are eligible for campus placement from the starting of the seventh semester . Over the course of whole final year the interested companies visits our college to offer placements .Companies such as l&T , JSW , Aditya Birla group has visited and no of offers were from 5 to 10 . Highest packages are generally around 18 to 25 lakh per year in branches such as cse and ece in civil it was 12 lakh and the average package here is 6 lakh . The perctage varies from branch to brach but if the students are interested and if we don't take this recession period into accountability we can say that around 60% students gets placed from on campus placement. From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited. Offers were from 3.5 lpa to 40 lpa on campus. 65% of students get placed. Highest package was of around 40 lpa and average is of 8 lpa.

The placement of NIT Hamirpur is pretty good. For the computer science department, it is pretty easy to get placed due to the opportunities provided. Students become eligible for campus placements in the 7th semester. Companies like Samsung, Dell, and Tredence visit the campus and make offers from 8 to 16 lakhs, some students even bag Amazon and Microsoft for SDE. Around 70% of students get placed others go for higher studies. I will also go for higher studies.

I didn't know much about placement cell of our college but knew that placement record was not upto the mark after covid 19 . Placement of mechanical branch was very good in our college and then mof material then computer science and engineering In our branch final year out of 48 students 20 are placed.
