IIT Dhanbad Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

COURSE CURRICULUM IS NOT THAT TOUGH BUT MANY COURSES ARE OUTDATED LIKE MECHANICAL DEPARTMENT IS TOO OUTDATED WE ARE READING UNRELEVANT TOPIC THERE WE NEED TO BE UPDATED AND THERE ARE MANY OTHWR COURSES ALSO WHICH NEED TO HE UPDATED

IIT(ISM) Dhanbad have a very good placement stats as of the latest 2024 average package is 16.45 Lakh/year which vary slightly every year .in 3rd Year students also get Internship oppurtunities which give a full on experience to the students.Students who are in 4th year are eligible for campus placement. there are many national and international companies hire student like Google , amazon and many more.Nearly 90% of students gets placements every year on campus .Some students take off campus also.My plan is to take a good package in my 4th year of Btech.

College of placements are decent. Final year students are eligible for on campus placements although we can apply for job off campus irrespective of year. Highest on campus package remains around 50 lpa and avg. package is around 15 lpa . Most of the big MNC's visit out college and offers good placements. Almost all students who apply for placements gets placed till the end of course. My plans are off campus high package placements.

The average package of the college is above 25 lakhs. Top companies like Google ,Amazon, Flipkart ,Goldman Sachs,Sprinkler, Wallmart, DE Shaw, Uber, American Express, Microsoft, and much more are invited to the college by carrier development centre of our college for internship and placements. Students can get internship from 2nd year of the college and based on their performance in company, they can get pre placement offer at the starting of final year. At the end of final year most of the students get placed in companies. Last year 140+ students out of 160 in CSE got placed in top MnCs. Highest package is of 1.3cpa , a ML student who got offcampus placement and lowest is 8 lpa. Some of the students after graduation goes for higher studies.

There are a large variety of branches to choose from from Cse to mining engineering to petroleum to civil engineering.And every course offers something good and unique and the packages of every branch are also great

Placements are Good as it is IIT college it is obvious to have better placements but from last year. There is a drop in the Placement percentage globally, But in Our College, we have two sessions of Placements, in 1st session Our College Achieved some 40%, and 2nd the session it remained

After third semester students starts for appearing placement.Almost all big tech companies like google ,microsoft,realince, samsung and amazon visit our colleage.Core companies like ONGC and CAIRN also visit for hiring.There are 200+ companies made 920+ offer in previous year.Highest package above 80 LPA and average is above 17 lPA previous year.above 65% student get placement,I want to get job in core company for research and development.

It has got a average package of 17LPA. It provides placement opportunities equally for all the branches in the college and colleges provies very good packages and facilities for even the lower branches. The college provides additional facilities for female students.

The placements are decent , about 17LPA is the average package. for campus placement students are eligible after completition of their 6th semester. Also for girls their are more opportunities in campus.

the students become eligible in their 3rd semester for internship and then in final year students get placed in higher componies. the componies which visit iit dhanbad are: google, amazon, wolmart, zomato, goldman sacs, ongc , oracle, tata steel elc. the avarage package was 17lakh INR in 2023 and 13 Lakh INR in 2024.
