- Strong faculty: vssut is reputed for its experienced faculty members who are often experts in their respective fields.
- The college also organises fest which also is a good source of enjoyment and bliss.
- Campus employment opportunities are quite good.vssut provide internship opportunities along with good support from professors also.scholarship facilities are also provided for reserved castes and for general category also who are eligible.
Dislikes
- Hostel facilities are not so good and the food is also of low quality which is very difficult to eat.
- The hostel and mess. there is corruption in the mess. the mess secretaries are given money to stop students for complaining.
- The conditions of mess and hostel have been worse and it's been degrading day by day. this could have been better.

Best college of Odisha in terms of infrastructure, faculties, fee structure, curriculum, sports, hygiene, lab facilities and quality of food in the hostels. If you get a chance to study in this college, don't think twice and just grab this opportunity with both hands.

Ragging at this place is quite an easy remark everyone makes. But being here now, I feel the situation has been better than it usually was, college provides platform for various activities students want to take part it in.

The only negative remark i have is that the girls have a curfew at 9 and boys simply don't. Otherwise all the positive comments you want to see, I've given it in all the previous questions that I have answered.

Overally this college is good for the students aspiring for job opportunities and also for higher studies.The college provides all the neccesary stuff required for a students carrier.Some time there is amisundersating between the students and the faculties which you have noticed in news but those issues are solve very smoothly.

Discipline is the greatest strength of the university. Highly competent faculties add to this strength of the university. Ragging incidents must be minimised. Course fee should be relieved for students with weaker economic background.

There are somany positive things but local people doesnt care about that which the vslv is a project of idea innovation cell which they have also get hired by isro india But negative thing is interaction which all says ragging but thats not ragging

The college is A nice college for an individual who want to pursue his dreams, or follow his passion as college provides an allround facility for each and every fields. However an ooen campus infrastructure may be a downside of the college, and being one of the oldest college in INDIA, it needs to improve its infrastructure in some cases. But the college is really very nice.

All the Faculty members are friendly to students.They always stand still with students in their study.Way of teaching is also impressible in classroom such that a poor student can understand easily.But now a days smart classes are being needed much more.Some advance technology should be implemented in session.

Overall the college is good if you want to do something in life it will help you to explore and has good surrounding , the college campus also has canteen and a CCD which will attract you too. I will give a full plus.

Here is a detailed review of the Electrical Engineering Department of VSSUT Burla based on my friend experience who is an alumnus of the same
- VSSUT is among the top colleges in the state and Electrical Engineering is one of the best branches.
- The branch offers a tremendous learning scope with decent lab facilities.
- The branch has a decent number of permanent faculty.
- VSSUT placement scenario however is not that good although it’s better compared to other top colleges in the state.
- The M.Tech students are asked to supervise labs which isn’t a good practice because they are mostly fresh out of engineering colleges and lack expectations
Electrical Engineering from VSSUT is a good choice if you are interested in the field and are willing to invest extra effort in your studies.
